Friendly staff, excellent food and comfortable bed. Drawer space a bit limited for those staying more than a couple of nights.

We had a wonderful time. The hotel staff were very accommodating as we were staying with our dog. The breakfast was very good and the evening meal was lovely.

I would highly recommend this Hotel. My wife and I stayed for 5 nights at the beginning of July and from the moment we walked through the door we received a warm friendly welcome which was maintained by all staff throughout our stay. The room we were assigned was absolutely lovely and cleaned on a daily basis and had all the facilities we required. The breakfast choice was superb and plentiful which set you up for the day. We did make use of the dining facilities on a couple of evenings and again the menu choice was superb with a good selection of wines to compliment it. To round the day off we always had a few drinks in the bar where we were able to taste a few different whiskies from the vast array on offer and had good conversation with fellow travellers. Unfortunately, our 5 night stay went far too quick but it is our hope to return in the future to enjoy the warmth, sincerity and friendliness from all the staff.

Great hotel with a well stocked bar and a range of decent food choices. Very good value for money and friendly efficient staff. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at the Garth hotel. The room was great. The food in the evening was excellent and my husband rated his cooked breakfast as one of the best he's eaten. The staff were lovely, polite and engaging.

The welcome was warm and friendly, the room clean and cozy, a deep bath with plenty of hot water and the breakfast was excellent. All the staff made our pet dog very welcome and all cared about giving good customer service. We would not hesitate to return.

Very comfortable and friendly hotel. Food was great. Dogs made to feel very welcome. Lovely cosy small sitting are a with cosy fire. Staff extre6pleasant.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the accommodation very comfortable, the staff very welcoming and friendly and the food and choice of menu excellent. So much so, we immediately booked our next stay.

Our online booking could not be traced by reception. Luckily there were plenty of rooms available. Room was ok if a bit dated and superficially clean. Food was acceptable, but again not as expected from previous feedback.
