How to redeem this e-voucher You must go to the hotel website's reservations page to redeem your voucher online directly against the cost of a booking you want to make. You cannot use your e-voucher at the hotel reception desk or over the phone. (e-vouchers can be redeemed online only for the room types/packages that the hotel has on offer.) The e-voucher code and current value are valid for online bookings for the participating hotel(s) mentioned above.The hotel website reservations page for the hotel(s) will show the bookassist reservations screen, and you will see an e-voucher area prompting you to enter your e-voucher code. Once you enter your e-voucher code here, the current value of the e-voucher will be taken into account once you verify the rooms and dates you require for your reservation. If the cost of an online reservation is less than the amount of an e-voucher you are redeeming, then the unused balance is still available for use and is subsequently redeemable against a future online reservation by using the same bookassist e-voucher code as that of the original e-voucher value at time of issue. If the cost of an online reservation exceeds the amount of an e-voucher you are redeeming, the balance due for the reservation must be paid on arrival at the hotel for which the online reservation was made. You still have to supply credit card details when making a booking using an e-voucher, whether the e-voucher value exceeds the booking value or not. This is because hotels require a credit card against each booking so that the booking can be secured and for use in subsequent charges incurred beyond the basic booking made. Terms and Conditions of use 1. Access to, redemption of e-vouchers, or reservations made through the bookassist reservation process is subject to acceptance of the reservation Terms & Conditions presented at the time of redemption or booking, and found at http://www.bookassist.com/terms.html 2. bookassist e-vouchers can only be redeemed online through the bookassist online reservation process and may be limited to redemption against the value of an online booking for a specific hotel or hotel group where applicable. 3. bookassist e-vouchers and unused balances of e-vouchers, expire one year from the date of issuance of the original e-voucher value where applicable by law. 4. bookassist e-vouchers and unused balances are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund, exchanged, used for purchasing further e-vouchers, or otherwise used except in part or full payment during the bookassist reservation process. 5. If the cost of an online reservation using the bookassist online reservation process is less than the amount of a valid e-voucher presented, the unused balance is subsequently redeemable against a future online reservation by using the same e-voucher code as that of the original e-voucher value at time of issuance. 6. If the cost of an online reservation using the bookassist reservation process exceeds the amount of a valid e-voucher presented, the balance due must be paid by the Recipient/Customer on arrival at the hotel for which the online reservation was made. 7. When presenting an e-voucher code, the Recipient/Customer must also enter the credit card details of a credit card validly and legally held by the Recipient/Customer during the online booking process to secure the reservation with the Accommodation Provider. 8. Upon completing the bookassist online reservation process incorporating the use of a bookassist e-voucher, bookassist/Automatic Netware Limited undertakes to, as soon as possible, forward your reservation to your chosen accommodation provider (hereinafter called "the Accommodation Provider"). 9. In the unlikely event that you the Recipient/Customer reserve accommodation through bookassist/Automatic Netware Limited with the Accommodation Provider and that Accommodation Provider subsequently fails, refuses or neglects to provide you the Recipient/Customer with the reserved accommodation, no liability shall attach to bookassist/Automatic Netware Limited. By completing the Reservation process, you the Recipient/Customer agree to waive any claim against bookassist/Automatic Netware Limited for any losses or damages arising from the failure of the Accommodation Provider to provide you with any reserved accommodation, or in the event that the accommodation provided is inadequate, or in the event that the accommodation provided has been mis-described, or for any losses or damages (to include costs) incurred during your stay. 10. Data Collection and use during the bookassist reservation process are subject to the bookassist/Automatic Netware Limited Privacy Policy. Specifically, data is only collected for the purposes of completing or supporting an activity, namely the e-voucher purchase or bookassist reservation process; for statistical usage of the bookassist system to faciliate improvements. No other use is made of the collected information, in particular the information is never passed to third parties without permission. BOOKASSIST/AUTOMATIC NETWARE LTD MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO E- VOUCHERS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN THE EVENT AN E-VOUCHER CODE IS NON-FUNCTIONAL, YOUR SOLE REMEDY, AND OUR SOLE LIABILITY, SHALL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF SUCH E-VOUCHER. 14. bookassist e-vouchers of any denomination have a cash redemption value of 0.001 cent. 15. bookassist/Automatic Netware Limited reserves the right to change any of these terms and conditions from time to time without notice. 16. bookassist/Automatic Netware Limited reserves the right to refuse to complete a reservation for you the Recipient/Customer in the event that the details entered by you the Recipient/Customer in this Reservation process do not meet the requirements as set by bookassist/Automatic Netware Limited from time to time. 17. It is the sole responsibility of the Recipient/Customer to inform the Accommodation Provider of any new or changed requirements including change in arrival time or cancellation. You the Recipient/Customer should note that in the event of a reservation cancellation, a cancellation fee may be charged by the Accommodation Provider. This may include the redemption of the e-voucher value by the Accommodation Provider and/or a charge to your credit-card account to meet the total cancellation fee that may be due. Details of any such cancellation fees are contained in the Reservation Process, and in the email sent to you on completion of a reservation. 18. While bookassist/Automatic Netware Limited uses its best endeavours to ensure that the information as supplied to you the Recipient/Customer and contained in the Reservation Process is accurate and up to date, no liability shall attach to bookassist/Automatic Netware Limited its servants or agents, in the event that any of the information supplied within the Reservation Process has been altered or amended by the Accommodation Provider. 19. The laws governing the provision of these facilities shall be the laws of the Republic of Ireland. |
