Why choose e-vouchers?

bookassist e-vouchers are purchased online in a simple one-step process. They are redeemed online by the holder when making a booking with a participating hotel (see faq:how to redeem e-vouchers).

For friends or family, e-vouchers make the perfect present. Have an e-voucher emailed directly to them or alternatively emailed to yourself so you can print and give it to them personally whenever you wish.

Purchasing e-vouchers online

You can purchase an e-voucher for amounts from €50 upwards. On purchasing an e-voucher, the recipient will receive a confirmation email with the e-voucher code and full details of how to redeem the e-voucher value. All e-vouchers are valid for 12 months and are redeemable in part or in full on use of the e-voucher code during online booking (see faq:how to redeem e-vouchers).

Redeeming e-vouchers online

The e-voucher code and current value are valid for online bookings for participating hotel(s). To use an e-voucher, you can go to the hotel website's reservations page to redeem your voucher directly against the cost of a booking you want to make. On the reservations page for the hotel(s), which will show the bookassist reservations screen, you will see an orange coloured area prompting you to enter your e-voucher code. Once you enter your e-voucher code here, the current value of the e-voucher will be taken into account once you verify the rooms and dates you require for your reservation.

If the cost of an online reservation is less than the amount of an e-voucher you are redeeming, then the unused balance is still available for use and is subsequently redeemable against a future online reservation by using the same bookassist e-voucher code as that of the original e-voucher value at time of issue.

If the cost of an online reservation exceeds the amount of an e-voucher you are redeeming, the balance due for the reservation must be paid on arrival at the hotel for which the online reservation was made.
