Originally we were allocated a room in the old part of the hotel. The room was draughty and the decor was very dated and dismal. We asked to be moved to the new wing and it was far superior. |

Far outweighed expectations after reading bad reviews elsewhere. Excellent value for the money. Friendly staff who we couldn't fault, we enjoyed our meal there very much and breakfast was plentiful. Recommend the 'new' part to stay in at the back, 'DART view' but quiet from functions and lovely and modern. We'll be back. |

The rooms were nice but it was a pitty that their was no television in the main bar. Also, we happened to be stuck in the middle of a floor with a wedding party and its was so noisey that we could'nt get a wink of sleep on the second night. |

I had read some poor reviews on another website, so I was not expecting a lot, generally I think the Hotel is good for how it is presented, the food was good and staff helpful. Service could be better and general hotel upkeep (maintenance) could be improved - but it is an old building and the price is not 5 star. |

beautifull hotel outside, we stayed in the old part of the hotel, a bit like faulty towers, stayed for 2nites on second nite, there was a wedding and our room was just above the wedding reception, didnt get a wink sleep, complained to reception as they knew we were staying for 2nites, therefore they should have put us in a different part of the hotel in the first case, nothing was done. had dinner there on the first nite, my husband ordered stew , we were told, there was none left, so they offered roast beef, when the plate arrived, one slice the size of cup arrived with a few veg..... not quite what we expected, it was our wedding anniversary, well, i shall not go there again, mind you bray is a fabulous town, full of life and surprises. |

our 2nd stay here. hotel in a good position on the seafront and a 10 minute walk to the station. hotel staff are always welcoming and ready to help in any way.
food excellent and nicely presented.
we had a large room with tv and coffemaker. beds were the most comfortable we have had in a hotel. we will stay again. |
