comments This is our second visit to St Helen's Hotel because it is conveniently located for the ferry service between Ireland and Wales. Both times, we have found the facilities very clean and comfortable and the staff has always been very helpful and friendly.

comments I found the hotel to have a charm and character in a world of hotels that are all ulta modern chrome and steel. It was the little thoughtful touches e.g. no mobiles in the evening dining room, staggered dining times for those with young children,T.V. in a very comfortale public lounge area for those who wanted it, but not so loud so that others could sit and chat or read quietly. excellent, polite and personal service provided by all the staff. Friendly smiles and genuine warmth, I felt like a regular visiter and it was my first stay.

comments Excellent service and the food was fabulous. Good value --too bad I heard it is going to close in the near future. A little cosmetic improvement would make the hotel even more highly rated.

comments Don't be put off by the exterior. Lovely inside, quiet but adjacent to the ferry. Some directions to the ferry the following morning would have been helpful.
