A warm welcome at reception, Tracy greeted us with a complimentary upgrade to a family room with late check-out so that we could make the most of the leisure centre. Beautiful warm sunshine that weekend showed the unique location of the hotel at its best and made for a relaxing and enjoyable short break.

We were a family of myself, husband, 2yr old boy and our 6mth old baby girl who stayed for 2 nights recently. To say that our stay was so enjoyable was an understatement. I didn't expect to come back relaxed, but I did! My husband was the same. Staff were exceptional and couldn't do enough for us. The manager, Jeanette, was so warm and approachable and made us feel very special. Went out of her way on a few occasions to help us out. Bar staff, breakfast room staff and reception staff....all fantastic. We have raved about your hotel to everyone. Thank you so much and you will DEFINITELY see us again ;0) Barbara & Brendan Crowley Cork

We are a family with 2 young children. We had a fantastic time at the Ferrycarrig. The hotel staff were all really friendly and helpful, the hotel was spotlessly clean. We had a beautiful room overlooking the river. As we were attending the Skyfest fireworks we did not get to the restaurant in the evening, but we did enjoy a delicious breakfast the following morning. We used the swimming pool and again it was of an excellent standard. A great time was had by all and we would strongly recommend this hotel to others. Good luck to all in the Ferrycarrig.

thank you very much for a lovely stay at your hotel..from the time we arrived until check out , every member of staff were just lovely... a special thank you to a receptionist named Amy, who was very pleasant and cheerful on our arrival, and upgraded us on to a superier room, due to a small error on our booking,..it was very much appreciated and meant an awful lot to us,,(many thanks Amy, little things mean a lot)..I know it was only for 1 night, but I would definitely return for a longer stay, at our earliest convenience with our extended family.

I stayed at the Feerrycarrig Hotel to attend the wedding. The view from our upgraded room was well worth it and the service was amazing. The quality of the hotel definitely added to what was a brilliant occasion.

We had a lovely stay at the Ferrycarrig with our two little boys, the staff were very welcoming and considerate of the children and their needs. The leisure centre is super and the kids playroom is a bonus. We had a lovely babysitter each evening & a nice trip to the Heritage Centre and a great restaurant in Wexford town, Jacques, part of Greenacres. We would visit the Ferrycarrig again.

Regarding my stay at the Ferrycarrig in February, myself and my partner stayed and both of us had a fantastic stay. The staff were so friendly and the girl on reception, Ingrid, was extremely friendly, pleasent and very helpful. The food was lovely and the room service for breakfast was excellent. I opted for the pamper package and I was delighted that it was ready in the room before we arrived. Everything about the room 422 was comfortable and the view was lovely. We only came from Courtown for the overnight break but we both agreed we would definitly stay again. My partner's sister is currently looking at hotels for her wedding next year and I highly reccommended the Ferrycarrig to her. Thanks once again for the lovely experience of the hotel.

I had stayed here before with my family and thought it was great. This time I stayed with a few family and friends and had recommended we stay here based on my last experience. Everyone from the Reception Staff, Bar and Leisure Centre staff were absolutely brilliant. Nothing was a hassle for them to make our stay more enjoyable. See you soon.

Everything was great but my only complaint was the heat of the hotel. It was a very windy, cold few days when we stayed but the heat was ridiculous I couldnt sleep. Becky

On arrival I was impressed by size of the room and location but the whole hotel was not just cold it was freezing which made the stay uncomfortable. The food and service on the Friday night was superb but on the sat night was both were of a much lower standard. We had a fantastic babysitter in the room. All together was not enjoyable enough to return

Our stay was very pleasant. The room was excellent . Staff were very friendly and helpful making my daughter a late night sandwich (jet lagged appetite) and charging her I-pod at the front desk. The "Full Irish" breakfast was superb. Location was perfect for us . I would certainly recommend this hotel to friends. I miss the sailboat and nautical theme you used to have in the bar the last time I was there though.
