comments We stayed only the one night at the Ashdown and we both agree that it was one of the better hotels we have stayed in. The Dinner that was provided was the best hotel food we have ever had over the years. One very big plus is the lack of a night club , no rowdy after hours noise. Overall we had no complaints about our one night stay in the Ashdown and would stay again 10/10 The cost of the one night stay was very reasonable

comments Overall we had a pleasant stay. No complaints about the hotel, the Staff were very pleasant & helpful. Not much to do in Gorey Town (Restaurants & Nightlife) but a good place to go if you're looking for a relaxing weekend.

comments My husband and I had a great stay at Ashdown. Our request regards the room (quiet corner & upper floor) have been accommodated as well as nicely wrapped bathrobes in room. We were impressed with all friendly and helpful staff from reception, restaurant to Leisure club. The Ivy Bar & Rowan Tree Restaurant offer excellent food at reasonable price. We will definitly return and recommend Ashdown to all our friends.

comments The hotel was beautiful, it was a bit away from the town so it was peaceful while still being close enough if you wanted to walk to the town. The Ivy bar and Coach bar in the hotel were really nice for a quiet drink. We only stayed one Thursday night there was no entertainment but we enjoyed a drink in the bar. The meal in the restaurant was amazing and reasonably priced. The staff in the hotel are very friendly and most helpful. The room we stayed in was spacious, nicely decorated, with a lot of closet space for anyone there for a long stay. Overall I really enjoyed our stay and I will definitely be returning.

comments Staff throughout the hotel were very courteous and friendly. Reception and confirmation of dinner reservations and spa packages within minutes of arrival. Dining room very attentive service. Spa just blissful.
