The Staff were extrenly friendly at all times. The food was amazing. The breakfast had everything you could imagine and the dinner in the restaurant was brilliant. We really enjoyed out stay there. The only negattive thing was that the rooms were a little too hot, bit opening the window solved the problem	report this review as inappropriate

I could only fault that it was a little bit further away from city centre than i thought. Only 3 mins in a car though so not that bad. The hotel itself was lovely with excellent staff in all areas and the food was excellent also. The rooms were spotless and very cosy in the evenings also. Ample car parking available also. We had a lovely stay and the shopping was very good also with nearly all the top retailers that you could want for.	report this review as inappropriate

Because I used a Woodies Hotel Voucher we were put into a room which overlooked the boiler house. There was a constant noise from the boiler which kept me awake for hours on end. the reason we went away for the weekend was because we were both exhausted and wanted a rest. I would never use one of those vouchers again because you just get treated badly. Even when we went into the restaurant to have our meal we were put sitting right under the air conditioning unit. We arrived quite late on Friday evening, too late for the restaurant and bar-food, however the staff in the bar were very helpful and arranged for some sandwiches to be prepared for us, they were much appreciated. Myself and my husband were very impressed with the staff, especially in the restaurant, our evening dinner on Saturday was very pleasant the food was excellant and the professional attentiveness and friendliness of the staff was refreshing. And on both mornings for breakfast we were met with a very happy, helpful and cheery manager. Our room was spacious and very clean, and I thought that the free offer of forgotten toiletries from reception is a very clever and resourceful idea from this hotel. I have only two complaints, the large extractor system for the kitchen is extremely noisy and our room (Rm 232) overlooked the flat roof where this is situated. It's unfortunate that the architects did not realise this during planning and construction. My other minor but nevertheless annoying complaint is regarding the location of the soap tray over the bath, it is impossible to avoid knocking an elbow or side when moving around in the small space. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay in the Ramada.	report this review as inappropriate

In general all the staff were very friendly & helpful. The older gentleman in the dining room where we had breakfast on both mornings had an agressive manner and not at all welcoming. Dinner was poor, very bad combinations for starters and main course was served with cold veg. Veg had to go back and then meat was cold & sause served with a skin over it, so obviously was sitting in the kitchen for some time. Poor selection on menu and starters tasteless. We enjoyed our week-end break & found the Ramada to be a "one stop shop"- spaceous bedroom,well equipped.( pity no view) Nice bar, with good bar food, good entertainment in house Fri & Sat evening. Huge selection for Breakfast, & Evening dinner lovely. Staff very pleasant. we will return.	report this review as inappropriate

Rooms were lovely but not much to do in the hotel. Bar not great layout and restaurant doesn't have much atmosphere. It didn't help that we were all woken up at 4 in the morning with hen parties and stag parties!	report this review as inappropriate

I went to Ramada with my husband and we found Ramada delightful, spacious and comfortable.The staff were very courteous and helpful. It was a pity that they did not allow us to take our dog.	report this review as inappropriate

The only thing lacking was a nice small bar/lounge for residents where you could meet and chat to other guests or perhaps better seating in the bar would help. We found the service and food in the restaurant excellent.	report this review as inappropriate
