	Lovely staff, location, breakfst, beds. Shower is a safety issue ! Plumbing noises could annoy ! If bathrooms were brought up to date you would be on to a winner.

	Dinner not up to much but 2 course at €22 per head, you get what you pay for.Breakfast standard , such a shame with all the very good local produce in the area , could say the same re dinner. Staff very nice, clean room and would stay again. do check out the Chop Shop 100 yards from the hotel, a little gem.

	The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The service in the restaurant and bar was excellent. The rooms were cosy as were the communal areas the lounge etc. The only downside was the noise from the early morning lorries that could be heard from our bedroom. Overall though our stay was extremely relaxing and enjoyable. .

Everything about Lismore House Hotel was fing, Clean, comfortable, breakfast was as good as any. Most outstanding was the attitude of the employees. Willing to help in anyway - Martin was expecially annnixous to please. Also the location, right in the center of the village weas perfect - the castle within a very short walk as promised when I reserved the room. That was important, as I was there for Lismore Music Festival. All in all a very pleasant stay.

	From the outside it looks lovely and the bar and restaurant were very nice and the room was big and airy....but it was extremely noisy in the room, water pipes, people upstairs, people walking by just talking normally all seemed really loud, and i am not a light sleeper.

	The staff were brilliant. The young German man who booked us in was a joy to deal with and very helpful. Other members of staff were great, especially in the restaurant. I noticed that the staff members work hard and did their best for the residents. I enjoyed my stay there and would love to return. On top of all of that, Lismore is a beautiful place.

I was extremely happy with my recent visit to Lismore House. taff are fantasic and that makes a place. We arrived just before 9 as kitchens were closing but that was not a problen and we were served very tasty fresh food. Beedroom excellent and the linen felt superior to what is normally available in hotel bedrooms Breakfast was excellent. Two small negatives..... the water in the shower was too hot (really!) and I also noticed that the underneath of the tables in the bar could do with a good clean. I will have no hesitation in recommending you. I've already posted my review on Tripadvisor.

	My friend and I had a lovely stay at your hotel.The staff were lovely as was the breakfast. If I could make one suggestion,the lightening in the bathroom is poor and I found it difficult to apply make-up. The answer I believe is a mirror with a magnified side to it with an in built light.Otherwise everything was excellent.

	Honestly the best breakfast (lismore plate) I've had in many years in a hotel either at home or abroad. Everything was cooked to order, was piping hot and served on a hot plate which was fantastic. Also room was lovely and bright and staff very friendly. This hotel is certainly a winner.

	Shower attached to bath was bad, and W.C. cover was just sitting there, not attached and W.C. was loose attached to floor. A separate shower unit, would be a much better idea than the present system. We had a lovely view of the castle from our room and the bar food was excellent. Also breakfast very good. Staff were very helpful.

	Lismore House Hotel is friendliest hotel we've ever stayed in. Staff were very genuinely friendly offering useful local knowledge and history, and tourist advice. 	Room was quite small, but had everything we needed. Shower wasn't great - hot then cold.. and shower head needs replacing. Overall, the bed was really comfortable, and it rooms were really quiet so had a great nights sleep. Staff wise, we only dealt with lady on reception, who was excellent.

	Lovely friendly staff made our stay very enjoyable. Dinner menu did not have enough seafood choices and those it had were not coeilic friendly. My only choice was steak. Ask chef to consider other kinds of flour occasionally.

	Hotel lovely & comfortable & good value. Bathrooms a little outdated but fine. Only thing that was - at breakfast there were 2 different sets of music coming out of the speakers at the same time! And also some music/tv from the bar area. Very confusing!

	I was very happy with my recent stay at the Lismore House Hotel. We had a beautifully spacious room, which was far beyond our expectations due to the very reasonable cost. Breakfast was well thought out and very enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The decor in the bar area and hallways is dated and is in need of some TLC but this did not affect our stay. 	Welcoming and hospitable, bedroom comfortable and well appointed. This is an old hotel with a rich history which has been tastefully moderised. It's set in the main street of this picturesque town, a recent winner of Ireland's tidy town competition. Well worth a visit.

Staff were excellent without exception. Breakfast very good, food generally was good. Room spacious and very comfortable. Shower was unpredictable and water temperature fluctuated a bit, with a strange banging noise coming from it. Those net curtains on the windows need to be replaced! They looked ragged and dirty. Please leave more milk and coffee in the room. Overall we were very happy with the hotel and would return or recommend it to friends.

The Lismore House Hotel ticks all the boxes for a relaxing retreat with everything from ease of parking,comfortable modern rooms,friendly staff and excellent food.We(2 adults and 2 children) stayed in a family room for three nights(mid-week) and found it great value.As Lismore is centrally-based between Cork City,Waterford City(57 km)and Cahir,County Tipperary we used Lismore House Hotel as a base to see the Waterford coast from Youghal to Tramore,Waterford City,Mahon Falls in the Comeragh Mountains.Lismore is a heritage town and is a pleasant place for a relaxing walk from the Cathedral down to the bridge on the River Blackwater where there are great views of Lismore castle and we have the photos to prove it!We were lucky with the weather and would welcome the opportunity to stay in Lismore again.

	Very pleased with location, staff, but a little disappointed in our room. Pictures shown on net were not truly representative of the room we were allocated. Also booked online rate of €54,room only and was charged €86 at checkout. As this was meant to be anniversary surprise for my husband I did not query on the day because he was with me in reception and I did not want to upset him.

	The only disappointing aspect was the public spaces which in decor and atmosphere were dull and did n't at all reflect the Georgian history of the hotel. As a result we went elsewhere for breakfast and dinner

	My sstay at Lismore House was a pleasant experience despite a rather hair raising experience with a prehistoric shower which was not functioning properly. The staff especially the lady in housekeeping were especially helpful and changed my room immediately. Well done to the housekeeping service.

	The hotel room was very comfortable. However the thermostat on the shower was not working (constant hot regardless of what direction the handle was or pressing the temperature control button). Also the window in the bedroom would open but there was no way to keep it open - perhaps a simple jamb to prop it open, as it is an old and heavy window. I would definitely return to this hotel.

We are a couple who stayed in Lismore House Hotel in May for a mid week break.. It was lovely to stay in a hotel with such wonderful character. Staff were very helpful especially the waitress that served us dinner, which was very good. Hotel is clean, room traditionaly decorated, bright and with a lovely view of Lismore castle. The only down point was that each morning the water was not sufficiently hot until about 9am for a shower. Lismore itself is a lovely village, with fantastic river side walk, planting was taking place for the summer ahead so I imagine Lismore will be really beautiful during the summer. There is also a great village park and not a spot of rubish or dirt to be found. We enjoyed our stay in Lismore.

	I found the hotel good value( I booked on line and got a special deal) The rooms are well furbished with comfortable beds and nice linen. The breakfast was very good and the service also very good It is in a good location in a beautiful area and compared to other local hotels and guest houses this would be my preferred choice again

	The hotel was very nice and te rooms were big. The hotel is located right in the centre of town with parking readily available. My only advice is avoid breakfast, the bacon was so hard I nearly broke my teeth on it and we had to wait over 25 mins for it.

	Staff very nice and homely, food was great, however the hotel itself needs a revamp from head to toe.I know it is 200 yrs old, but there is old and Lismore itself is a very small quiet town with very little to do. The Castle itself was closed so did not get to see it.

	Very clean room, comfortable bed and nice big bath. Would have loved one more bar of soap but otherwise very happy with the room. Excellent breakfast, absolutely delicious. The only downside were the loos off the bar area which were very grubby in the morning.

	Quaint and comfortable hotel. Good service and lovely fresh pancakes for breakfast. An ideal spot for exploring Lismore and beautiful surrounding areas. Great value on-line room offer. Only negative comment was shower thermostat wasn't working so water was too hot!

	Overall we had a very nice few days in Lismore - very good room, dinner surprisingly good, freshly cooked breakfast - nice change from the "buffet" sort. Only real downside was the traffic noise and the hotel can't be blamed for that. Would definitely stay there again.

	Very welcoming staff, beautiful room and perfect location. The shower was tricky to work though and the water was too hot but that's better than being cold!

	Im Accommodations Manager in hotel with 92 bedrooms and know hotel bussines very well.Will say as i was verry happy with my stay with you.Rooms and all ares was very clean.Perfect touch off very good taste to feel really homly.Will definetely stay In Lisamore Hotel again when will go for golf to Lisamore golf course.Thanks.

	Excellent value for money, great Service from the staff and the food was really good. Lismore is a beautiful scenic place in Ireland I have never visited before. I have already recommended Lismore and the hotel to many of my friends and family.

	excelent room with fabulous views of the castle and castle gardens . breakfast fit for a king( I recommend the salmon)brought to our table by a charming waitress . We were sorry we had not had dinner here the previous evening.

	Relaxed friendly atmosphere - just need to work on the heating system in the hotel. Had originally suggested it would be 3pm when we wanted to check in was there early 11.30am and arranged an early check in for us.

	A charming hotel that looks recently refurbished. Rooms and food to a very good standard with friendly staff. Perfect for a quiet break, but beware the live music in the bar at the weekend if you like your sleep before midnight.

	Staff were helpful and friendly, and food is great. However, as we had a family room our ensuite was adapted for disabled use. Also on our first morning the shower flooded the bathroom and bedroom and rather than give us another room, a portable heater was placed in the room to dry out the carpet.

	The hotel was beautiful and clean, the staff are friendly, helpfully and courteous. We had gorgeous breakfast in bed both days. Highly recommend that you stay in the beautiful Village of Lismore.

	The staff were really friendly, just when you think the country has changed so much you find a nice homely place like Lismore House. The food was also AMAZING! The receptionists were lovely, particularly an blond English lady ( I think she had English accent). The place really was so homely and it was perfect for a relaxing break. Well done to the staff there.
