comments All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Only negative comment is that the sound insulation between rooms was poor.

comments Myself my husband and our 3yr old son stayed for 3 nights in the Days Inn Waterford, we had a great time and for the bargain price we got it for with the Evening Herald we can't really complain! The bedroom we stayed in was a lovely room with a flat screen tv and free internet access, the beds were a little uncomfy but bearable. The staff were pleasant and friendly. The Hotel itself has been taken over and looks like it's under going a transformation it's a little dated but i'm sure it will be getting an overhaul in the not too distant future. the only downside was the car park it was a few streets away but a new car park is under construction at the rear of the hotel. We had a complimentary meal on the first night and we were the only people in the restaurant and I was a little worried this was a bad sign that the food wouldn't be eadible but it was fab. i would definitely stay in this hotel again and i would reccomend it.

comments Breakfast both mornings was a disappointment. No fruit or yogurts to be seen. I picked up 3 mugs in a row for my tea, which you make yourself. All 3 mugs were chipped. The bacon was so hard I could not cut it with the knife. The sausages on first morning were going off! The egg was hard with a hard skin on top. The dinner was not much better. Having eaten half of my main meal, I left without even seeing the desserts or having coffee. The bedroom was nice and clean. Despite stating the hotel had a wide wine list, there was only ONE type altogether in the bar!!!There was a christmas party in the hotel both nights. The second nite there was shouting until 5am. I went home for a rest on the Sunday.

comments Hotel was lovely and food gorgeous. Car park they use is too far away though and it's not very family friendly. But great for couples.

comments the room was really hot and stuffy so we had to leave the window open at all times as it only opened a crack - then the noise from the street kept us awake so we didnt sleep well

comments the room was well enough appointed. the bar and meals there were quite good and the bar service was excellent. the dining room for breakfast was very good. Where we thought that the service broke down, was the restaurant. we booked our meal for 7pm on the wednesday, but when we got there we were told that we were NOT on the list. only ONE waitress was TRYING TO SERVE everyone BY HER SELF and she was just overcome. In comparison to days galway the restaurant WAS QUITE DISSAPOINTING. Just one other item. When putting ice into the jugs of water for the table the waitress used her bare hands to put the ice in. all in all our stay was very pleasant, and the staff were generally good.we will of course be staying with days again in the future

comments we found the hotel staff very pleasant...until we ventured to the hotel restaurant for dinner, included in our weekend package. The waiting staff obviously couldn't wait to get home...after mixing up our dinner order & serving plaice instead of pasta, my partner was kept waiting ages for his meal...in the meantime, we were subjected to the bang & clatter of cutlery & delf all around us...we were dying to get back to our room by then so we skipped dessert for a change: thumbs down to the restaurant!

comments Hotel is much more inviting on the inside than outside. I have stayed in many hotels around ireland. This hotel is at the top of my list in terms of the friendliness of the staff. it was a nice surprise as unfortunately i don't expect friendly staff anymore in hotels but you exceeded Well Done :-)

comments we had a good stay in the Bridge hotel, the bar staff were very friendly and the food was great. We didn't eat in the restaurant as there was almost an hour wait for a table but we got room service which was delivered in no time to the room n was piping hot. The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly, including the security guard who gave us tips on short cuts for our route home! About 15 minute walk out of town for people looking to head to the hub of the action...especially in high shoes, but the staff on reception got us a taxi which was great and arrived in less than five mins. All in all a great stay.
