The room was fine, the location is perfect, and the staff was courteous. Except for one major problem, I would have given the hotel a rating of 4. The problem was that when I checked out, the hotel charged me again for the deposit I already paid when I booked the room from your website. When I explained that I shouldn't be charged again for that amount (and I showed the printout of my web reservation), the desk clerk insisted that the hotel doesn't receive any money from bookassist and that I need to pay the hotel the full amount. We almost got into an argument about this. I have used bookassist on 2 or 3 other occasions, and this has never happened before. I hope someone at bookassist can sort this out with this hotel and reimburse me the extra charge.
