Comments on our recent stay at Cahir House hotel, all the staff were welcoming and helpful at all times, including reception, dining room and public bar, also the staff that looks after the bedrooms. The bedrooms were neat and tidy, with adequate provision in wardrobe including hangers. The front entrance to the hotel was a bit disappointing particularly the mat; also the double doors would need freshening up with some varnish. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay in a very relaxing atmosphere.

	Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely view of Cahir Castle from my spacious room. Nice feature to have a bath as well as a good shower. Dinner was a surprise - excellent standard of food and at a very keen price. You have an excellent chef. I will certainly stay there again.

	Hotel was lovely and the food was good. The waiter was extremely helpful as I was a coeliac and dairy intolerant. He went to a lot of trouble to make sure that the food was suitable for me.

	room was clean and comfortable. staff were friendly and helpful. food was excellant. saturday nights entertainment with mad patsy was fantastic. the only downside was service on saturday night for dinner was very slow. but otherwise would hightly recommend this hotel

We chose Cahir House Hotel because of its convenient closeness to the Rock of Cashel a short drive north on the motorway. Wish we had time on our tight schedule to have stayed more than one night. Hotel was an older hotel with class, easy to find on town square, with a pretty garden area in the back and with an excellent breakfast-- many choices not seen everywhere included in the room rate. We could see the castle of Cahir from our window and wished we had time to tour .

	I would certainly choose the Cahir House Hotel again. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was travelling alone with a one and a half year old, which can get overwhelming, but we were both very comfortable at this lovely, central hotel. The people, rooms, food and location were all great. I recommend it.

I stayed for just one night and had to leave early for a business meeting in Cork. Clean room and clean bathroom - very important to me. Very good shower. I asked for a quiet room and got a nice quiet room. Breakfast was excellent both in taste and speed of service. Tiny gripes were that the room was very hot (I couldn't lower down the radiator or open the window much) and the TV hummed a bit. But I would recommend the hotel to a friend and would stay there again. Staff friendly and helpful too. Overall an enjoyable stay and excellent value - keep up the good work.

Another wonderful stay at Cahir House Hotel. Greeted on arrival by friendly happy reception staff. All staff very friendly and helpful, always willing to carry out any requests with a smile, special thanks to Tommy for helping make our stay such an enjoyable stay also Martin. Bar had a good atmosphere and well stocked and had good entertainment on two nights of our stay. Food was really good and always arrived freshly prepared and piping hot. Rooms maybe a little dated but always kept clean and tidy with comfortable beds and fresh towels and room cleaned daily. We will definitely be returning for further visits. Thank you :-) My two sisters, daughter, niece and myself had a beautiful weekend very enjoyable.

	Really enjoyed our stay there, lovely staff, great food & plenty of parking The only downside was there was no lift so we had to drag our cases up & down the stairs. The experience overall was great & we would definately stay again!

The night we stayed at Cahir House Hotel the management decided it was a good night to do construction on the bar which was right below our room. There was hammering at 2am until my husband went downstairs and asked them to stop. The workers said they were told to work at that time but did stop after requested to. The next morning the desk clerk apologized for the noise and said she knew nothing about it beforehand. Also, the shower didn't work and my husband slipped trying to get out of the bathtub. Also, the room, which faced the street with lights on all night, did not have blackout curtains so the room was not dark enough for comfortable sleep.

	There was a lot of door slamming during the night especially the corridoor doors.maybe some buffers or a slower closing system would help.but the stay was good except for that

Dear Cahir house, I would sincerly on behalf of my parents like to thank you for the wonderful stay in cahir house last december. I booked it at the last minute online as my parents were unsure of their plans. They were welcomed to the hotel by a very professional and friendly male receptionist. Their room was beautiful,spacious,bright and airy. My parents told me their was a great selection available on the breakfast menu.The waiting staff were friendly,hard workers and curtious. I believe that your staff are a credit to you,keep up the good work.We have stayed here many times andWe will definately be back again!!

	excellent could not have asked for anything more!!!! night porter one night left us outside for over 20 nearly just to be mindful when people are goin out and shower was a little on cold side but besides excellent staff and everything thanks

Reception and greeting were mediocre, left you guessing a little bit whether they were talking to you or the person beside you, no direct welcome/contact. Room was way below expectation - after walking for 5 minutes to get to it corridor had a musty smell, shower needed a fair bit of muscle to turn on and off and when on was only luke warm. Breakfast was reheated sausage & bacon. The only fresh part about it was the egg. We were looking forward to having Cahir house on our list of hotels to stay in because of the packages (Golf for me and Spa for my wife) offered but we will not be availing of them any time soon. The food in the bar (evening) was really good and the service of the barman/waiter was excellent. We had just come from Hotel Westport and the difference was simply vast.

I have written to Chrisitne and staff expressing our thanks for a wonderful stay. I have stayed at most 3/4 star hotels in the area but found the general all round service,cleanliness,value for money and cheerfullness tot be the best we have experienced. Jennifer and her team were really thorough.David Simona Nell and the rest of the bistro staff made are day very comfortable and you have talented chefs.Finbarr,Louise and the bar staff were always eager to give me my green teas and water!The bar and bistro and reception are very welcoming and efficient. I have given you 4/5 becuase the rooms are still a bit basic and there is no bath though this may be reflected in the price and they are extremely clean as is the rest of the hotel.It was also good to have beautiful Laura around over seeing things! 	Staff were all very pleasant and welcoming, especially Christine at reception. Breakfast and dinner were very good food. I requested a quiet room and was given one and even though I booked a single room I was given a lovely big room. Tariff was extremely reasonable. No complaints, only compliments and thanks to everyone for such an enjoyable stay.

The hotel was lovely. The 3 person room was small, but clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful. We ate dinner in the pub, the food was good. I was a little disappointed that I was not given the option when paying by credit card to choose euro or US dollars. They converted it to dollars at a higher rate than the credit card company would have. I was told that was the only way it could be done, but when paying for the hotel room thay gave me the option.

	We (5 of us) had a wonderfull stay at Cahir House Hotel. Lady at reception was extremly helpfull and nice. As hotel was full, our room was upgraded to a beautifull bridal suite without extra charge. Rooms were clean and spacious, full Irish breakfast served enough to keep you full for the rest of the day Would recomend stay in Cahir House Hotel without any hesitation.

	Trotz geplatzen Flug - daher später Ankunft (01:30 a.m.) wurden nett empfangen. Hat alles super geklappt. Gänge eng und verwinkelt. Zimmer dennoch angenehme grösse. Frühstück nett angerichtet-super service.

We stay in Tipperary quite a bit, having family from the town of Cahir. Reception staff very friendly and efficent they always have a smile on their face.Breakfast was very nice and their was a great choice in the morning.The only bad point was we were awoken at 6am by other guests in the morning, the walls in the bedrooms were quite thin.We had lunch the following morning in the Restraunt and it was very enjoyable-there was a great choice on the menu.I would reccommend you to my family, thanks for everything.

	Very happy with stay. Room was good but could probably do with some minor work done but overall clean and comfortable. Food in the bistro is excellent. Hotel is very good value and i will be using again when in the area.

It was a brief stay and I arrived after 9pm on a Sunday so there was no food or room service available. I would like to have known this before I had arrived as the website was a little bit lacking in information. The staff directed me to some restaurants and said it was no problem taking food back if needed. Apart from that very friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, lovely cleaning lady who was very helpful... typical irish friendliness and hospitality.

Cahir House is an old-fashioned hotel which has been updated with an extension and spa facilities. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, right through from the initial arrival at reception where they knew my name and were able to tell me what members of our party had already arrived, to the person cleaning our room who personally informed us of a small leak in the bathroom which we had not even noticed. We were offered a room move without needing to ask, but the problem was so slight that we didn't bother. All of the staff, without exception, were very friendly, and it was a genuine friendliness, not in any way "forced". The breakfast was substantial, as much as you could possibly want to eat, and there was good variety. The value for money was incredible, the best I've ever experienced (80 euro per night per couple for a double room including full breakfast). Some of our party had spa treatments and were very satisfied with the service and quality there. The location of the hotel was ideal, right in the centre of the town, and there is plenty of parking in the hotel car park. I would not hesitate to go back there or to recommend the hotel to others. It is not a glamourous hotel, but is very comfortable, clean, very friendly and possesses a good history.

	great location, friendly staff, good breakfast. WE had the best view of city square, but a bit loud at night time as it was a busy weekend. Please add on your website what is in the room as when I was booking I dit not know if there is a TV in the room or not and if there is a tea and coffee making faciliteies or not? We had a great stay

	Had a very pleasant stay at Cahir House. Warm, helpful and friendly staff give a homely atmosphere. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Sorry, have to say, the toilet roll holder in our ensuite was in a very awkward poition, it should be on wall in front of toilet! Will be back.

	very plesent hotel in the centre of the town. I would recommend this hotel. Just put a shade on the light in the room, a naked bulb is never a good look!

	Although there were some initial problems with the heat (during cold winter days) and a broken hairdryer, the hotel owner resolved these quickly, and gave us, gracefully, a discount on the first night.

I did not like the way that money was temp taken out of my laser card a/c on the first night of stay and then i used the same card when checking out were i was charged the full rate and had to wait 7 days for the temp money that was taken out of my a/c to be put back in.. so basically charged for 3 nights accomodation until i got it back a week later, i didnt like that system and this was the first time i had seen this done in a hotel.

	Everything was great. Lovely room w/full size & twin beds. No lift which I knew when booking reservation. I need hip replacement so it was difficult for me to get up & down stairs. 23 yr old grandson carried all luggage. Had he not been w/me, I feel certain a staff member would have done this.

	We found the hotel a veryfriendly place and the staff were more than happy to help. It was very family friendly. The only down side was the noise from the disco party which was right under our room. However the hotel did offer a change of room if required.
