Myself and my partner both enjoyed ourtay at the hotel however there are a few points that may nee adresing in the future.
On our first night in the bar we were soon approacehed by a woman who asked came up and aked if we were there for dinner, we said no but the woman told us to follow her until we reached the restaurant where i then stepped in to say we dont want a dinner in the restaurant we wanted bar food. Im not unhappy about the fact that she asked us but in fact its the way she asked us? She approached us before we could even get a drink and then didnt listen to us and asked us to follow her with an abrupt manner.
The bar staff were very helpful and were fast at serving us. However there was an older gentlemen in the bar in the evenings who was a bit abrupt and did not seem to be very happy, this alone kind of put us of our drinks so st that point we decided to go to bed early.
The price of the hotel was very reasonable as we paid 280.00 euro for a 2 night stay including breakfast and one nights dinner. But when we went to our room we found a leaflet advertising the ame deal for 99 euro so we felt a bit ripped of when we seen this advertisement in the room.
The hotel is in a great location and i have stayed at the hotel in the pat at wedding receptions, the food also was very tasteful and on valntines night the food was exceptional.

Spent a weekend here just after Christmas with my girlfriend and I must say it was lovely. We were given a room with a view of the glen, which was nothing short of spectacular (especially because it had just snowed). The food in the restaurant was beatiful, as was the food available from the bar, and you could enjoy it beside the massive open fireplace in the bar, although there is a strong chance you might nod off whilst sitting there! The staff were always very friendly and helpful, the surroundings are breathtaking (great for walks, whatever your fitness level), and the package we got was very good value; €240 in total for the weekend, breakfast both mornings and one dinner in the restaurant, I'd recommend this to anyone who wants a peaceful weekend away.

We stayed in the lodges for a weekend. They were great, had everything you could need. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
I had not realised we would have to pay for electricity and felt €36 was a bit steep but no other issues.
would definitely recommend it for a family break or to a group of friends.

We were a group of 6 walkers who wanted self-catering accommodation. We found the Lodges at Aherlow House Hotel excellent, very large, well equipped, each of the 3 spacious bedrooms were ensuite, and very warm (we stayed over the New Year period). The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful even in advance of our trip. We had spectacular views of the Galtee Mountains from our Lodge and enjoyable walks in them also. This friendly, family run hotel has excellent food and a lovely relaxing atmosphere. We had New Year's Eve dinner in the hotel, which was a busy evening, and the food was excellent, and the staff could not have been more friendly and efficient. Since returning we've encouraged friends to go there. One group (of walkers) will go in February while another couple have signed up for the Aherlow Walking festival at the end of January. This place is a gem and well worth visiting. We hope to come again at Easter time.

We stayed in one of the Lodges at Aherlow House during the Christmas holidays & loved it. The Lodges are very spacious & well equipped with glorious views. The staff in the hotel couldn't be more obliging & we found the pricing to be very reasonable. We were so impressed with the overall experience that we will be booking a week in the summer, as will friends who visited who were equally impressed.

I stayed in the main hotel and had a comfortable room with a glorious view. Staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. Would certainly stay here again

One of the best hotels I'ce stayed in. People were extremely welcoming, helpful and the food was incredible! Reasonably priced, clean rooms, good showers! All round an exteremly high quality hotel for a very good price! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Aherlow House Hotel was excellent.
It is well run and welcoming.
The proprietor and staff are attentive and the food was delicious.
It has terrific views and an an almost mystical atmoshere.
Our only disappointment is that we did not stay longer.
