Perhaps the most touristic area of Madrid is that one that the Madrileños call "Madrid of the Austrians". The nickname for this part of the centre of Madrid has an historical origin: is in the area where the dynasty of the Habsburgs (The Austrians) created a historic village that they chose as the capital of Spain. Buildings recall the Spanish imperial era, when the Habsburgs ruled an empire extended from beyond the Netherlands to America.

So, the neighbourhood "Madrid of the Austrians" extends over Puerta del Sol, Palacio Real, the Arenal and Mayor Streets including La Latina, Plaza de Oriente and Plaza Mayor. This one is the very heart of the "Madrid of the Austrians" and is in the centre of the nightlife. The apartment Newman is in the first floor of a magnificent building with a garden at the entrance. It has a distributor hall, living room with outdoor balcony overlooking the Segovia street, living room equipped with a comfortable double sofa bed, two bedrooms, one double and one single, a main bathroom, a second bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen.

Payment Policy:

An initial 15% non-refundable deposit is required to complete your booking. An additional non-refundable booking charge of 25% of the total charges is required by the owner to finalize the booking. This is to be taken directly from your credit card by the owner within 24 hours after making the reservation. The remaining balance may be paid in cash on arrival. A Eur 200.00 deposit in cash is required by the owner when you are check-in and will be returned at your check out time, if no damage has been done in the flat.

Cleaning of the apartment will be carried out before the customers' arrival. The apartment must be surrendered in a reasonable state of cleanliness; otherwise, an amount equal to the daily cleaning fee for your apartment will be deducted from the security deposit.

Additional cost for arrivals or departures after 20:00 hrs to 2:00 hrs, sundays or bank holidays: Eur 30.00. Check-in will finish at 2:00h.
