The Hotel Medplaya Calypso refurbished in 2006, is a three-star hotel, situated only 10 minutes from the beach and only 5 km.from PortAventura.

There are 514 double rooms, all with bathrooms, balconies, air- conditioning and telephone. The restaurant is buffet style and in the summer guests can enjoy the open air "Al Fresco" restaurant. The Hotel Calypso has two swimming pools, hydro massage and many other facilities and services to help each guest enjoy their stay. A particular highlight is the daytime and night-time entertainment programmes as well as the shows and theme-based dinners.
