We had an extremely pleasant holiday in the Moorings. The food was very good, & good value (especially in the bar). The service was excellent and location was perfect for us with great view from room (19).
Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Whenever we asked them to carry heavy suitcases up to and down from our rooms, they did so with good grace.
We wish there were an elevator.

The room was extremely nice. Great view of Neptune's Stairs. Great breakfast, fantastic kitchen and bar staff and the online reservation, checkin and checkout was very well done.

We liked the hotel. It provided good value for money. The staff was very friendly. The mattress was good and we liked the view of the canal from our room. The location was convenient.
I have just a couple of minor quibbles about the pub and restaurant. I would have liked more local beers. Also, the cooks do not seem to be up to providing food that is suitable for a true restaurant. To me, it would make more sense to make the restaurant, with its wonderful murals, part of the pub. Then I would work to make the pub food, good traditional Scottish fare, better.
Were we to return to Fort William, I would certainly consider staying here again.

We really enjoyed the hotel and facilities. The pub and dining room were spotless and nicely decorated. Food was good. Staff, particularly Claire and Beth and a young man behind the desk whose name I did not get, were very pleasant and helpful.

Moorings Hotel war in fast jeder Hinsicht erfreulich. Freundlichs Personal, schöne und saubere Zimmer, ein reichhaltiges (schottisches) Frühstück und eine sehr schöne Lage. Auch Parkplätze gibt es in ausreichender Zahl. Einzig störend waren die labyrinthartigen Gänge. Man musste sich manchmal konzentrieren, um sein Zimmer wiederzufinden. Insgesamt ist das Hotel absolut empfehlenswert.

Our stay at Moorings Hotel was fantastic,the staff were all very pleasant & helpfull,the hotel was beautiful,the food excellent & we will definitely be returning in the summer.
