Accommodation: The Gailes hotel is in the perfect location to appreciate Ayrshire with beautiful views over the surrounding golf courses and the isle of Arran. The Gailes is a privately owned venture comprising a friendly, relaxed restaurant and bar. Our 41 modern bedrooms are available for single, double/twin or family occupancy. We offer the choice of rooms for smokers and non smokers. We are in a prime location to enjoy many of Ayrshire's finest golf courses. Our rooftop terrace and gardens has stunning views over the isle of Arran and during the summer is ideal for barbecues. Our spacious, modern bedrooms are en-suite with both shower and bath. For extra comfort and versatility, we chose super-king size beds which can separate to become twin beds. Our family rooms also have additional beds to allow us to accommodate two adults and up to two children age 16 years and under. We also have two specially adapted rooms on the ground floor suitable for less able guests. These rooms have adequate space for wheelchair access and a specially adapted bathroom. We have a lift to allow easier access to our first floor bedrooms.

Services & Facilities: Adjacent leisure facilities* include state of the art floodlit driving range, American Golf Shop, Bill Lockie Golf Training Academy and health and fitness suite including gym, aerobics studio, sauna and steam rooms, quality nine hole golf course and tribute nine hole golf course. *Independently operated by Gailes Sport and Leisure. Alternatively we are situated on the doorstep of many local attractions including the Scottish Maritime Museum, world renowned golf courses including Royal Troon and Turnberry, Robert Burns National Heritage Park, Vikingar and Culzean Castle and Country Park. The island of Arran - "Scotland in Miniature", is easily reached by ferry from Ardrossan.

Bar & Restaurant: Enjoy the relaxed, warm and friendly atmosphere in our modern restaurant where our chefs create a delicious range of freshly prepared meals and light snacks, available each day until 10pm. The finest Scottish produce is delivered daily for our extensive menu and speciality dishes.

How to get there: We are only a short distance from both Prestwick International Airport and Troon ferry port. BY ROAD, FROM THE SOUTH follow M74 to junction 8. Take A71 to Irvine. At Warrix Interchange take left for Ayr and Troon to Newhouse Interchange then bear right for Harbourside. The Gailes lodge is situated on Marine Drive. FROM THE NORTH follow M77/A77 to Kilmarnock Bellfield Interchange. Take A71 for Irvine then directions as above. FROM AYR take the A77 to Dutch House Roaundabout and follow A78 to Irvine. Exit at the Newhouse interchange and follow signs for Harbourside.
