The aptly named Cairngorm Hotel is Aviemore's premier independently owned hotel, situated in the Cairngorms National Park in the Scottish Highlands. The hotel is widely acclaimed for the warmth of the welcome, caring service and culinary treats provided by the efficient and friendly staff.

All bedrooms are en-suite with colour television, direct-dial telephone and hospitality tray - with some offering stunning views across the Spey Valley to the Cairngorm Mountains or to the great rock of Craigellachie. Regular entertainment ranges from Quiz nights to Ceilidhs and there's always someone on hand to help you find the perfect dram or help you make your choice from the extensive menu on offer throughout the day. The atmosphere is generally lively in the evenings, as locals as well as visitors to the area congregate regularly to enjoy the 'craic''.

Aviemore is Scotland's top all year resort, offering winter sports such as skiing, curling, and snow boarding in the Cairngorms during winter, and is an excellent base for tours of the Highlands and Inverness-shire, including the famous Whisky Trail and Monarch of the Glen Country. Golf tours are very popular in the area, and there are many activities for families during the summer.
