Location: Enterkine is situated in Ayrshire in south-west Scotland. The Enterkine estate lies on the north-western outskirts of the village of Annbank, five miles east of Ayr. The A77 trunk road links Glasgow with Kilmarnock, Ayr and Stranraer. Coming from the north Prestwick Airport is a major feature on the right on the approaches to Ayr. Shortly after passing the airport there is a turn to the left for the A719/B742. Take the latter (signposted for Annbank) and proceed via Mossblown bypassing Annbank on the road to Coylton. The entrance to the Enterkine estate is 50 metres on the left past Annbank.

Nearby: Enterkine is situated in 310 acres of woodland, meadows and valley, all of which is accessible to guests who want to walk and experience the peace of the countryside. Farther afield, south-west Scotland and Ayrshire in particular caters for every taste. Glasgow and Edinburgh with their theatres, galleries and shopping are within comfortable driving distance. Ayr country town and railhead, is five miles away and also has a range of shops. For golfers there are seven championship courses within 30 minutes of the house. They range from the famous links of Turnberry and Royal Troon (Lee Trevino stayed at Enterkine while playing in the 1973 Open at Troon) to Western Gailes and Prestwick. Arrangements can be made for guests at Enterkine to play these world class courses. Guests are welcome to use Enterkine's putting green and croquet lawn. Some of the finest game shooting and fishing in Scotland is also within easy reach. Enterkine will arrange inclusive sporting outings for those interested in these pursuits
