comments Ramon was a wonderful host, and made me feel very welcome. The hotel is small but beautifully renovated. However, I had expected it to be in a more rural location, but it is on the busy main road from Santiago to Padron, and the bells from two nearby churches ring very regularly day & night; so noise was a huge issue for me. The church next door is very beautiful and worth a visit. The Hotel is located on a part of the Portugeuse camino so residents have the opportunity to enjoy a lovely walk up into the hills behind the building. Pity about the noise.
