The hotel is elegant. The rooms have marble floors and well appointed bathrooms. The food at the breakfast buffet is excellent with eggs made to order and a good choice of cheeses, meats and pastries. The staff at the front desk is friendly and very helpful in dealing with sightseeing and transportation and with advice about restaurants. Piazza Bernini is a very good location. It is walking distance from most of the central Rome sights and also has a Metro stop. More importantly many of the buses that cross the city stop there.

This is a lovely hotel. We got a room facing the piazza, which was especially nice. The staff were helpful, and the room was compact but very well appointed. There were a couple of minor problems we noticed which might have been fixed before we arrived, but after notifying the staff, they were fixed within minutes.

The hotel room was beautiful and very clean. The staff at the front desk were very friendly, courteous and helpful. The daily breakfast was outstanding and the waiters and waitresses very courteous. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for making our trip to Rome very special.

Loved the location, staff is very helpful, rooms are new, comfortable beds, I would highly reccomend this hotel in Rome and there are nice restaurants open late right on the via Vento

Great small boutique hotel in a terrific location. Staff at front desk were very attentive, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are typically small but graciously comfortable and well stocked with amenities. I would stay again and highly recommend.

While managing to hide from the average traveler, we found this hotel to be charming, lovely and extremely convenient to almost everywhere (Via Veneto, Piazza di Spagna, the Metro). Our room was large, lushly decorated and well-furnished, and quiet -- quite a feat for a hotel directly on the Piazza Barbarini. The bathroom was also spacious and featured a rainshower and light therapy! Every person we came in contact with on staff was courteous and extremely helpful with reservations, directions, and last-minute accommodations. The bar in the evening and the breakfast spread were simply amazing. This will definitely be my new go-to hotel in Rome!

small boutique hotel with well-appointed rooms. Our room was very small but the modern bathroom was great! Cozy relaxed bar with very engaging bartender was fun and the breakfast was excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Rome. The location was convenient to all of the sights, many very walkable.

What a welcome oasis! The entire staff was welcoming and so thoughtful. The rooms were spotless. The concierge was spot on with restaurant recommendations. The location was great. I would heartily recommend this hotel.

The Staff and the HOTEL overall were excellent. The staff were so willing to help us with any request, from directions to a shop, to a restaurant reservation to ordering transportation to the airport when we left. Always with a warm and professional attitude. Plus, we greatly appreciated the complementary upgrade to the suite. The BEST best ever!

This hotel is GREAT! I looked for a long time to find the perfect place in the perfect location! I read reviews and there was not one hotel that didn't have a really bad one. I kept going back to hotel Barocco. This hotel, in my mind, as well as my husbands and the couple that we traveled with, was the best find. The hotel is beautiful and newly remodeled. The rooms for European standards are a nice size. So is the bathroom. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and a nice variety. The place is wonderful and I highly recommend it. If we go back to Rome, the Hotel Barocco is our place to stay!

The Hotel Barocco was just one part of a whirlwind Europe trip which included London, Cambridge, Paris, Rome, Majorca, and Marbella Spain.
I must note that the Hotel Barocco was the best hotel we stayed at in all of the countries we visited. It was not the biggest, nor the "fanciest". The Hotel itself was quaint, elegant, comforting and had a classy old world feel to it. Most bedrooms in Europe are quite small, but ours was more than reasonable. The bed was extremely comfortable, pillows and linens were of top quality. The bathroom was amazing and we loved the shower with the "Rain Head" and multiple color lighting, awesome! The service was swift and helpful as well.
All in all I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Rome! We both loved it!

Stayed two nights and wished it was more. Hotel was great from the start. Every staff member we encountered from Front office to restaurant to house keeping were polite and attentive and seemed to have pride in the Hotel. We arrived early and we were accommodated without fuss. The room was clean, modern and tastefully decorated. The Hotel retained an old world charm of Rome. Bed was comfortable and a pleasure following some of the slabs we had slept in over the previous two weeks in other Italian Hotels. We received a complimentary fruit basket, nice touch. Breakfast was great. Eggs made to order was a delicious special treat, the Italian omelette was a standout. The other selections from the buffet were first class. We did Rome on foot. The Hotel was within 5-10 minutes of the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the Corso (for the shopping) We made our way to the Piazza Venezi in about 15 minutes. The Colosseum was only 10 minutes from there. Walked to the Piazza Navona, only about 20-30 minutes through the streets. The Hotel is far enough from the centre to feel some relief from the crowds, but close enough to enjoy ancient Rome walking. The windows opened to get the atmosphere of the street, but with the double glazing it was then very quiet when closed. Internet was quick and free. The bathroom was modern and clean. Would definitely recommend the Hotel Barocco to everyone and would definitely stay there again

We had the best time. The staff are absolutely amazingly helpful. We moved rooms three times only because coming from America we had a lot of luggage. Rooms are a little sparse where cupboards are concerned. We did not lift a finger and were moved without complaint.
I don't know what the person was thinking when they said there was not a full breakfast. Eggs Omelets you name it, it came in super fast time. Lovely Buffet also.
This is a boutique hotel, in the heart of everything. We loved it, loved Rome it was wonderful!

Hotel centrale ( Palazzo Barberini), ottima posizione a pochi passi da Piazza di Spagna. Personale gentile e sollecito a risolvere eventuali problemi. Camere un po' piccole ma confortevoli e pulite. Sopratutto silenziose nonostante la posizione centrale. Ottima colazione, molto varia, curata e di qualità. Prezzo adeguato al servizio. Da tornarci.

We enjoyed every aspect of our 2-night stay in June 2011. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful, room was exceptionally clean and well appointed, breakfasts were absolutely superb.
