comments Six years ago (late spring of 2006) I put my parents here after having view the place myself. They loved it and when I went back to Prague with my girlfriend I wanted to go back there. Thankfully the place had not changed - neat, tidy, excellent décor, building in fine condition, and the staff were friendly too. What I got to experience for myself for the first time was the comfy bed, well laid-out room, a superb bathroom (with bath big enough for two) and a satisfying breakfast. The location couldn't be much better, just off Charles Bridge but with a sufficient gap so that the noise of the tourists will not disturb you, and since it's on the other side from the city centre traffic is virtually non-existent. Easily walkable to the city centre or Prague Castle. Highly recommended!

comments První dojem nádherný.Zařízení pokoje ve starším stylu, jsme rádi uvítali. Snídaně velmi pestrá, možná bych uvítal více zeleniny.Personál velice ochotný, společenský, profesionílní přístup všech vč. restaurace. Rádi se sem budeme vracet a samozřejmě jsme už tento Hotel doporučili i svým známým. Velice se nám líbila blízkost k památkám a hlavně bydlet hned u Karlova mostu...prostě nádhera. Jedinné co nám narušil pohodový pobyt byl skon našeho Václava Havla, na druhou stranu se nám poštěstilo a dopřálo mu na Václaváku zapálit aspoň svíčku a hlavně vidět jak můžou lidé být velmi morální. Děkujeme a budeme se těšit zase se někdy u Zlatých Nůžek :-)

comments We were more than happy with the location, room and service with the hotel. In terms of comfort and size the room we had was fabulous with separate en-suite and small kitchenette area. Breakfast was great and although it did not vary greatly there was always plenty available and it was fresh as was the bread - best we ate anywhere. Staff were polite and hlepful and their English language skills were much better than our Czech. This hotel is about a 30 second walk from the Charles bridge and easy walking distance to the Astronomical clock. We prefer to explore by foot but did use the 'metro' which was about a 5 minute walk from the hotel and easy to use. We also took the train out to the countryside and had no problems or safety concerns. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prague; in terms of location, price and service the Golden Scissors was excellent!

comments stayed for 6 nights, i was really happy with my room and the position of the hotel in regards to how close it was to everything also i thought the staff where very helpful and polite. i will definitely go back. thanks again for a great stay!

comments We were very satisfied at Hoel U Zlatych nuzek. Rooms were lovely and clean, breakfast was pretty good, staff very kind. If you have problems with steps do not take the 3rd floor rooms as they do not have a hand railing, my friend's mother was moved down to the 1st floor and the staff was very nice about it. Perfect location as well, you can walk anywhere. When in Prague that will be my choice.

comments Byli jsme nadmíru spokojeni! Atraktivní poloha, čistý pokoj, velmi příjemná cena, dobrá komunikace s personálem,.... Snídaně sice slabší, ale při té ceně za ubytování se to dá tolerovat. A kvůli snídani jsme tam nebyli. :-)

comments We stayed at " U Zeleneho hroznu" as there was no room available at "U zlatych nuzek". We liked the hotel very much. Nice, quiet yet very convenient location and very friendly staff. The young lady at the front desk did an excellent job. Will not hesitate to stay there again. Thx

comments Perfect location (right in the middle of things yet quiet at night)! and reasonable prices. The staff were very accommodating for a change in rooms (we thought we ordered two single beds). The breakfast was a bit light; but the dinner served at the restaurant was first rate (10% discount too). The staff for dinner were very friendly, helpful and had excellent knowledge of wine. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

comments Wir waren sehr zufrieden, die Lage ist zentral, dennoch kein Autolärm ! Das einzig Negative ev.für Leute, die nicht gut zu Fuss sind- es gibt keinen Lift!

comments We had a lovely clean, spacious corner room on the third floor in this hotel which is an oasis of calm so close to the hordes on Karlov Most (Charles Bridge). The price was exceptionally reasonable. Breakfast (included) was good and we enjoyed drinks on the outside terrace. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

comments The hotel was ideally located between the castle area and the old town, in a quiet,pleasant square and with a view across the river from the bedroom. The room was spacious, comfortable and bright, the breakfast good and the staff efficient and friendly. ideal.
