We pre-booked this hotel 3 months before we went for our holiday after extensive research on TA, and managed to get a good advance purchase rate. The staff were very helpful in helping us to book transfer from Florenc bus station as well as accomodating our room requests.
We could not believe how near it was to the Charles Bridge on the Mala Strana side. And yet, when we were in the room, it was absolutely serene and peaceful. We stayed in Room 32, which was very spacious and next to the roof terrace.
We loved the attention to detail that the hotel provided, as we came back to a surprise every night - chocolates, fruit platter and biscuits. Wifi was also free of charge and was very fast with no problems in connecting using our iphones.
Breakfast is served in the restaurant from 0630-1000hrs and was quite typical of a European B&B, except that there was a orange juicing and a coffee machine.
All in all, highly recommended and we will be back if we are ever in Prague again!

Centralissimo, a 5 mt dal Ponte Carlo. Pulito, comodo, camere molto ampie, personale gentilissimo. Ottimo anche il ristorante interno (in cui si ha anche il 15% di sconto) soprattutto dopo una lunga giornata per le vie di Praga. Conviene acquistare la navetta da/per l'aereoporto...Consigliatissimo!!!

Absolute city center, yet quiet located, small hotel. The Charles Bridge is just a walk from the hotel entrance.
Very friendly and helpful staff and an excellent restaurant kitchen (incl. breakfast).

hotel idealement situé a deux pas du centre et du pont charles...chambre tres spacieuse. Nous avons d'ailleurs gracieusement été "upgradé" dans la suite.
Hygiene impeccable. employé tres agreable et serviable.
petit dejeuner continental vraiment copieux servit sour forme de buffet.

The shower had no curtsin or shower door. Also it was only hand held not wall mounted. This day and age a regular shower is standard in hotels. Otherwise great staff, good size rooms, good breakfast, and great location.

A wonderful hotel, If I am travelling to Prague again I would not consider staying anywhere else. I have posted on tripadvisor too, to say that I loved the rooms, breakfast was brilliant and the location is perfect.

It was our first time in Prague and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at hotel pod vezi. The rooms were lovely and cosy and extremely clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful! It was my 30th birthday when we were there and unexpectedly, the staff brought up to our room a very nice bottle of bubbly, it was a lovely touch. The breakfasts were very good, plenty to choose from. If we visit Prague again we will be sure to stay at the hotel pod vezi!

We had a lovely short break at the Hotel Pod Vezi. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and breakfasts were partiucularly enjoyable, with a good range of options and excellent coffee. Our room was warm (important in the record-breaking cold weather) and comfortable, although I was initially a bit disappointed that you had to peer out to see the views from the windows. The location, in the winter at least, is perfect - we nipped out every now and then just to walk half-way across the Charles Bridge and stand and enjoy the fantastic views. In winter the hotel is also very good value. We recommend it highly.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Pod Vezi for 3 nights in December. We could not be more pleased. A lovely hotel in a great location. We arrived late Friday, having booked a taxi through the Hotel. The room we stayed in was quite spacious with a large on suite. Everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Our flight home was not untill the evening and the Hotel were happy to lock our cases away and organise a taxi pick up for us. In fact they were prepared to arrange any thing you want, from tour guides to concert tickets. It was cold outside, but you always got a warm reception to warm hotel. If I go to Prague again, there is no question that I would definately go to this Hotel again. A big thank you, and especially Philip for a great birthday surprise

We absolutely loved our stay. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The service was impeccable. The staff even made up a bag breakfast since we had to leave so early in the morning.

Our stay at the Pod Vezi Nov. 2011 was perfect! Lovely room, excellent service, nice view & great location close to the Karl's Bridge - for us there was nothing to improve. We definetly try to book the Pod vezi again on our next trip to Prague.

In my opinion this hotel was in the best spot for sightseeing Prague on foot. You can walk everywhere. You also get to enjoy the Charles Bridge everytime you go to Old Town. The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff were very friendly (especially Martin). All sorts of restaurants/eating places, even a supermarket is within a block of the hotel. We booked this hotel in advance and it was very reasonably priced.

This is a very quaint hotel right at the base of the West Tower of the Charles Bridge. The staff at the front desk were outstanding in helping us find our way. Breakfast was terrific. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Pod Vezi is a fantastic hideout for while you're in Prague. A great location at the foot of the magnificent Charles Bridge in the picturesque lesser town -- the quiet end of bridge. Our room (24) was very large for American standards and gigantic for European standards. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom modern and nice. Pod Vezi is a small, boutique hotel, it is not a five star luxury hotel. It does have a lot of character and charm. Breakfast is complete (including espresso drinks, if you ask).

We stayed there for 6 nights during the last week of August 2011.You will never go wrong staying here.Right in the center of the Lesser Town next to Charles Bridge.Nice cosy hotel,extremely helpful and friendly staff with great food to go with it.Lots of restaurants within walking distance - so you will be spoilt for choice. Special mention to all the Martins and Eva. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Definitely recommended.

The Pod Vezi is in the perfect location in Praha. You are at the bridge (the name translates to "Under the Tower", referring to the towers on the Charles Bridge) with quick access to either side.
The room I got was huge. There was a living room, a large bed room and a spacious bathroom. Everything was very clean and the employees couldn't have been nicer.
This is a 5 star review for a wonderful hotel.

Optimale Lage direkt am Kleinseitner Brückentrum der Karlsbrücke, sowohl Altstadt als auch Hradschin gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Service. Geräumige Doppel- (Nr. 13) und Einzelzimmer (Nr. 31), trotz zentraler Lage ruhig. Schöne Atmosphäre in altem Gemäuer. Fazit: Wir haben unser Quartier für künftige Prag-Reisen gefunden!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Staff we extremely friendly and helpful and more than accomodating for our 2yr old son. We also really appreciated an extra late check out for our son to have an afternoon sleep when waiting for our evening flight home. You could not get a better location than this hotel, it was outstanding. The restaurant food was very nice and reasonable priced and breakfasts were more than sufficient. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

O Hotel é maravilhoso. Localização perfeita. Terminando a ponte Charles você dá de cara no hotel. A atenção que recebemos dos funcionários foi perfeito. Todos foram muito atenciosos e educados com a gente. Além da beleza do hotel tudo muito limpo. Recomendo a todos. Nota 10.
