comments My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Green Garden in May 2012. The room was clean and spacious, and the matress was very comfortable which is always important (and often not the case in hotels). I liked the fact that the hotel is a little out of the centre as is less hectic, and found walking or taking the tram so sight see very enjoyable. Also, being out of the centre means the price is very competitive for what you get. And finally, the breakfast was really good, and staff very helpful. Thanks for a lovely stay. Susie.

comments Eight members of our family stayed at the Green Garden in four rooms from April 21 to April 29. It could not have been better. Every m ember of the hotel staff (the desk staff, the waiters, the bartenders and housekeeping) was kind, courteous and helpful. Hanka and Petra were extremely helpful in arranging for a driver to take us outside Prague at a very reasonable price. The restaurant, bar and breakfast were all excellent. The rooms were pleasant and neatly cleaned daily. We liked the location of the hotel which is a bit outside of the touristy area. The hotel is in easy walking distance to the tourist area, the tram, the metro and reasonably priced local restaurants. For the price, the Green Garden can’t be beat.

comments Green Garden was fabulous! Our family of five had a spacious 2 bedroom suite which was very affordable! Breakfast was wonderful, and the hotel was just a few blocks from a metro stop. Can't say enough good things about this hotel!

comments tHE HOTE The hotel was wonderful and nice and clean and comfortable. The food was very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially receptionist called Bianka who was extremely helpful when we had a personal problem. Ideally situated only a short walk from trams and metro and Wenceslas Square. Highly recommended.

comments really pleased stay at the green garden hotel ,everything from the moment i booked was looked after ,the free airport pick up,was a lovely bonus ,the room was clean and comfortable , the food at b/fast was good and the restaurant meal was really good value ,in fact i found the price for the whole stay extremely good value.the reception staff were very helpful and the walk to the tram stop was only 200 yards which was very easy to use and get back to the hotel . my overall experience at the green garden hotel was excellent,and tram 22 takes you to all the tourist attractions. i would like to thank the staff and management for a lovely stay at the green garden hotel

comments I attended a conference and booked the hotel to be nearer twon. It is value for money and I found the hotel good value for money. Compared to holiday in Congress hotel, which i had to move to. The breakfast is defintely better. The room in your hotel were a bit small but alright for one person. everything I needed was there. Unofrtunately the welcome drink was not there on arrival. One receptionist in the morning was inadequate as the poor girl had to deal with tour bookings, pickups and communication problems with the driver apart from the check in and out business at that busy time. The reataurant was quaint and good. It is a 15 minute walk to the congress centre and I was surprised it was not included in the list of hotels for delegates. I had to find it out myself on the net. comments We had a very good stay at the Green Garden Hotel. The hotel surpassed our expectations with a warm comfortable clean room. The staff were very helpful and assissted with all our needs. We found the breakfast to be good with a substantial choice of items on the menu. The proximity of the hotel was as we had expected and was a nice distance from the centre of Prague. We found very good bars and restaurants nearby as well as an excellent patisserie. We were impressed and so far have made several recommendations to friends, family and colleagues to visit Prague and stay at the Green Garden. We found Adrianna in the bar avery freindly and helpful individual.

comments The Green Garden is convienently located, just a short walk to the National Museum at the top of the walking street. The acommodations are fine, and the restuarant is an excellent surprise. All-in-all, a great value for the money. I do travel extensively, 59 countries in the last 5 years...and I would stay here again without question.

comments We stayed at the Garden House Hotel for 6 nights at the end of November. The room was very good - clean, suitably warm and cosy with tea and coffee making facilities - overlooking the square, which allowed us an insite into the life of Prague throughout the night. The breakfasts allowed for a plentiful range of options - both healthy and otherwise ! Everything was fresh and the 'hot' selection was replenished regularly - something many hotels could do with taking note of!! Walking into the centre of Prague takes only 10 minutes from the hotal - ask for a map from reception ! Overall a great stay - and one we will be repeating.

comments We were both very happy with our stay and founf the satff and service freindly and professional. The food in the restaurant was was high quality (best kebabs we have ever had), as was room service (which we enjoyed one evening). The rooms were very clean and comfortable. with all you would need. Teas and coffees were refreshed every morning, and there was a safe to keep your valuables in. It is an ideal location if you do not want to be near the nightlife of the city ! It is within easy walking of the city centre (took us 20 minutes at a slow pace) and only 5 minutes from the trams and underground. Our stay in Prague was made even more enjoyable having had a great hotel to stay in. - We would definatley stay again, and recommend it to anyone. Great value for money, which is what most people look for nowdays.

comments Very good location, in walking distance of Wenceslas square and quite near to the metro. Accomodation very satisfactory. Staff and reception always present and very helpfull. They were able to solve in a professional way a possible quite nasty problem. Breakfast surprised us in a most pleasant way, by its presentation and selection. Suggestion : improve the sound isolation for the streetside rooms on the lower floors, since rush hour traffic is rather heavy.

comments It was easy to reach and easy to park. The apartement was really nice and spacious with old-styled and comfortable furniture, though the bathroom needs ventillation. We did not visit the wellness, because we did not want to pay extra money for it. It should be included in the 4 star hotel's room price. Better windows are expected to avoid the permanent noise of the city. It is a very nice place and the centre can be very easily reached. Receptionists are very helpful and kind. We enjoyed our staying there with two teenagers:)

comments Boravak u Vašem hotelu bio je jako ugodan. Sobe su prostrane i namještene lijepim kvalitetnim namještajem. Apartman je bio više nego dovoljan za nas troje. Osoblje hotela bilo je veoma ljubazno i uslužno. Lokacija hotela je pogodna za posjet starom gradu i okolnim turističkim atrakcijama. Doručak je bio jako dobar i raznovrstan. Hotelski restoran je smješten u lijepom ambijentu a hrana je dobra i cijene su prihvatljive u odnosu na druge restorane u gradu gdje je cijena ista a nivo usluge nije odgovarajući. Ove slijedeće primjedbe su dobronamjerne i nikako nas ne bi odvratile od toga da ponovno dođemo u Vaš hotel: - pripaziti malo više na čistoću (promijeniti staru četku u WC jer je dotrajala i prljava, spremačica neka malo bolje obriše prašinu i ispolira Vaš lijepi namještaj) - WC daska se miče _izolacija prozora nije baš najbolja, znam da ih ima puno ali možda bi u budućnosti trebalo postaviti još jedan par prozora bolje zvućne izolacije s obzirom da se hotel nalazi između dviju prometnih ulica _osvjetljenje u sobi preslabo je za čitanje, dakle lampe kod kreveta bi trebale biti jače ili bi trebala kakva stajaća lampa kod naslonjača. _ TV u drugoj sobi apartmana trebao bi biti veći jer je soba velika Primjedbe su isključivo dobronamjerne i nikako ne znače da smo nezadovoljni u bilo kojem pogledu želimo Vam samo još više uspjeha u daljnjem radu.

comments Our stay in this hotel was very enjoyable. Well appointed room, double glazed so little noise from outside. Very reasonable room rate, even better on the 4 night deal which included free transfers to and from the airport which were particularly useful. The hotel is only a 15-20 minute walk from the city centre but in a quieter area than the main tourist area. The staff were friendly and helpful and requests were quickly fulfilled. I would certainly stay here again and have recommended the hotel to several friends who plan to visit Prague.

comments We had a quite spacious and very clean hotel room. The breakfast buffet was large, tasty and featured a great variety of food from fresh fruit and cereal to bacon, sausage and eggs. The hotel itself is in 5 minute walking distance to the public transport, from where the metro goes in one stop directly to Wenceslas Square and the tram goes directly to the Prague castle (about 25 min drive). Moreover, there is a supermarket around the corner. In total, it was a nice stay and I would recommend the hotel to everyone.

comments Hotel Green Garden has a lovely friendly feel. All 4 of the rooms which our group stayed in were spacious, well equipped and very clean. I will certainly be visiting again! The staff were helpful, polite, and very knowledgeable about attractions and restaurants in Prague. Prague is a lovely city and this hotel is just 10 minutes walk away from excellent public transport links (metro and trams). The visit was for my Hen Do and my friends had arranged a limo pickup from the airport through the manager at Hotel Green Garden - a lovely surprise!!!

comments What a wonderful stay at green garden! I had a top floor room and was able to see the castle and beautiful view of the city. Breakfast was excellent, several options available. Staff were always helpful and pleasant to deal with. Price was also reasonable considering the location/style of room. Easy walk into main city centre and even walked to the castle however transport is also close and may be more convenient to get to the castle! Would recommend and would stay here again if in Prague. Would be perfect for a romantic weekend!! Many thanks

comments It is our first visit to this hotel. Personel is polite and helpful, especially the receptionist Hanka. The hotel interior is nice and cosy, very comfortable beds. A buffet breakfast is very good and tasty and is in a nicely decorated breakfast room. I will recommend this hotel. We really enjoyed our stay in the Green Garden Hotel.

comments I had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel Green Garden in Prague for 5 nights during May 2011. The 5th-floor room was clean with classic decor, the bed was comfortable, there was free internet connection in the room, and the bathroom with shower was nice and clean and fully functional (which is not always the case in many European cities). The reception staff were always friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet each morning was exemplary, and the room-cleaning staff were quiet and discrete. Not to mention the free pick-up from the airport and box of shell chocolates upon arrival as advertised in my package deal... I would definitely stay there again if I ever revisit Prague.

comments Ja was soll ich sagen ich war Ostern für 2 Tage mit einer Freundin hier. Schönes Hotel, klasse Zimmer, schönes Bad. Preis/Leistung super. Man ist schnell zu Fuß in der Innenstadt. Was mich störte war die Garage fürs Auto, 20 Euro am Tag. In der 2 Nacht hatte ich das Auto aber nicht in Garage, und hatte am nächsten Tag leichte Kratzer und Schilder die abgebaut wurden. Sonst ganz klar empfehlenswert.

comments The hotel exceeded all of our expectations, we went to Prague to celebarate our friends birthday. The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were very large and very clean. The staff were wonderful and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. In summary, I would definately go back and recommend to any of my friends. Excellent value for money too!

comments Im März verbrachte ich leider nur 5 Tage im Green Garden aber was hier im Vorfeld über das Hotel zu lesen war traff auch alles so zu. Zimmer vollkommen ok und sauber - leider das Bad etwas klein und keine vernünftige Ablage wo man seine Utensilien ablegen kann. Sonst war alles sehr schön - Frühstück auch ok kleines Manko das mit dem Rührei und dem Speck war sehr Kochabhängig - ein Morgen SUPER lecker der nächste Tag naja. Alles in allem - würde ich jederzeit wieder ins Hotel kommen - nicht nur Prag auch das Hotel war eine Reise wert.

comments Great stay in a very clean and welcoming hotel. The staff were all superb, polite and helpful. Our room (402) was very nice and the price we paid for our stay was excellent. The buffet breakfast was very good with a plentyful selection to suit all tastes. One small point was that the water in the shower was not hot in the mornings, evenings were fine. We would definately stay with you again if/when we come back to Prague.

comments Recently returned from a three night stay at the Green garden Hotel, I booked the hotel direct online for a very reasonable rate. I was very impressed with the family run hotel. The Rooms were a really good size with plenty of cupboard space, The beds were extremelly comfortable, The rooms were clean with newly decorated bathrooms, also very clean. The buffet breakfast was lovely. The hotel staff were very friendly, helpfull and efficient. Only grumble was the expensive hotel bar prices .Hotel was only a ten min walk from the metro or new town. Would defenatly stay here again.

The breakfast was amazing with lots of choices and the restaurant had a good selection for reasonable prices. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our stay and would recommend it to friends. I would also encourage anyone looking to stay in Prague to pay the extra money for parking as it was convenient for us to have our car parked by someone familiar with the area and we knew our car was very secure. We also traveled with a 6 month old infant and the hotel staff were kind and accommodating to our baby. Thank you Hotel Green Garden!

comments lovely cosy hotel .This is the second time at this hotel. Friendly staff. A ten minute walk to Wencelas Square. Close to metro and trams. the only minus is that the bacon and eggs were cold although plenty of choice with cold buffet. Would stay there again.

comments It was our second visit to this hotel. It is important to underline that first visit was arranged via tourist agency, but this time we booked an appartment and transfer ourselves. Everything was excellent and in time without any delays or other problems. Very cosy home-type place, very friendly and helpfull personnel, everyday cleaning services, comfortable transfer. We also appreciate location of the hotel: same time not far from historical centre, tram and underground lines, and quiet enouth for relaxation after a day full of bright impressions from Prague in Advent time! Hope to be back in spring time with our daughter!

comments We had the most wonderful 6-day stay at Green Garden. We would like to thank Petra in particular who went out of her way time & time again, helping us with some very special arrangements. Petra even loaned her umbrella to us one day when the rain was very heavy, as we came without an umbrella! The latex bed was just soooo comfortable and the room was very quiet and we did love the sound proof windows! Food - well where to start...! Breakfast was amazing and lots of variety. Only criticism was that the hot food tray was never warm enough and we believe may not have been turned on!. We ended up having dinner at their wonderful restaurant 4 of the 6 nights as we were just so impressed with the food and the great service. Hopefully next time we stay we won't have 5 days of rain!! comments Отель понравился, маленький и уютный, персонал приветливый. До станции метро IP Pavlova - 5 минут пешком, до Вацлавской площади - минут 10-15. Завтраки достаточно разнообразные, целых 3 зала на выбор, где можно позавтракать. Очень удобно, что можно заказать билеты на разные культурные мероприятия и экскурсии, причем без наценки. В номерах хороший ремонт и очень красивые стулья:) Единственное маленькое "но" - при бронировании по спецпредложению были обещаны бесплатный трансфер и конфеты в номере. Трансфер - без нареканий, встретили и отвезли на хорошей машине, а вот про конфеты забыли:)

comments Our stay at the Hotel Green Garden was wonderful. From the moment we stepped into the lobby we were warmly welcomed. Our room was lovely and always maintained in a top-notch manner. The breakfast buffet each morning was delicious and the many selections went beyond our expectations. We enjoyed before dinner nightly get-together's with our friends in the pub and always received a friendly good evening and great service too. Hats off to the chef for the many tasty dinners we enjoyed, and the wonderful apple strudel and ice cream desserts still bring a smile to my face. The staff were always helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. A special thank you to Linda for her friendly service, kindness and helpful manner. She made our stay pleasant indeed and we looked forward to her warm and friendly smile each evening in the pub and restaurant. We enjoyed our happy hour times in the pub with our friends and were always well take care of. We also enjoyed many delicious dinners in the dining room (hats off to the chef) and the scrumptious apple strudel and ice cream desserts still bring a smile to my face. The staff were always accommodating and courteous and certainly helped to make our weeks stay there memorable. A special thank you to Linda who couldn't have been nicer. She made each of our evenings so pleasant and we looked to seeing her each evening in the pub and at dinner.

comments Familyroom, two big rooms, furnised with old fashioned wooden furniture. Carpet, not for allergics. TV, the smallest you can get from the second hand shop (not in 4 stars hotel !). During our stay in Prag it was very hot, so the aircondition in both rooms was luxury. Bathroom was nice, some corrosion already on the ceiling. Breakfast, included all possible, everything fresh, nice set out, even after 6 days we were not fed up. If you enjoy having good breakfast, not just a cup of coffee, this is your hotel. Liikenne hotellin vieressä oli kova. Meistä oli kuitenkin hauska katsella sitä jatkuvaa liikennevirtaa kohti keskustaa, huoneesta 307. Äänieristys riittävä hyväunisille. Huoneissa oli omat ilmastointilaitteensa, joiden säätäminen oli helppoa, siivooja kyllä sammutti päivällä ne, mutta viileys tuli helteellä pian käynnistyksen jälkeen. Hotelli sijaitsi vähän jo sivussa ihan keskustasta, mikä ei oikeastaan haitannut, sillä lähellä oli metro ja raitiovaunupysäkki, josta pääsi kätevästi matkaan. Käytimme myös ahkerasti alakerran oleskelutilassa olevaa ilmaista tietokoneen nettiyhteyttä. Ravintolaa emme kokeilleet, vain ruhtinaallista aamiaistarjoilua, sitä voin suositella.

comments We enjoyed our stay there very much. The room was spacious enough for our needs, and the bathroom efficient and attractive. Dinner was excellent; however, breakfast was mediocre. The orange juice was so watered down it was hard to tell it was orange juice. The staff was helpful, especially in the dining room/breakfast room. Only one computer was available and many people wanting to use it. Perhaps putting up a note restricting use to 15 minutes when other people are waiting would be helpful, so one person doesn't hoard it excessively.

comments I posted this on TripAdvisor: The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean. Although a kettle and tea cups were provided there was no complimentary tea/coffee but we were allowed to store our own milk in the mini-bar and there is a grocery store nearby that sells tea. The TV in our room was small but we did not have any time to watch TV anyway. Breakfast choice was good, and as we stayed over the Easter weekend they had organised a pianno player to play in their restaurant in the evenings and he was excellent! The hotel is within 5 min walk to the nearest metro stop and trams but it is only extra 10 min to walk down to the top of St. Wenceslas square. Return trip is uphill but taxi's are not too expensive. We booked a 4-night deal via bookassist directly from the hotel's website and they gave us a free taxi trip from the airport, and a box of chocolates and a bottle of champagne on arrival which was a nice touch, especially as it was more expensive to book the same package via booking.com. Overall, a pleasant experience and would go back again.

comments Wir haben das Hotel per Internet ausgewählt und gebucht und waren sehr überrascht dass wir alles so vorgefunden haben wie beschrieben. Sauberes Zimmer und Bad im 5. OG mit Blick auf die Burg, trotz stark befahrener Hauptstrasse sehr ruhig. Das Frühstücksbüfett war in Ordnung, die Leistung und Preise im Restaurant und der Bar haben uns nicht enttäuscht. Das Personal war freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Da das Hotel ein Nichtraucherhaus ist, hat es ein Raucher schwer, der einzige Ort zum Rauchen innerhalb des Hause ist die Bar und diese ist leider nicht immer geöffnet. Die Lage zur Innenstadt und der Metro ist ideal für einen Stadtbesuch.

IF ANYTHING LET IT DOWN IT WAS THE TIME WE HAD TO WAIT FOR OUR MEALS THAT WE HAD IN THE RESTARAUNT, THIS IS IN NO WAY A COMPLAINT ABOUT THE WAITRESS SERVICE THEY WORKED VERY HARD BUT THERE COULD HAVE BEEN MORE OF THEM. comments We stayed at the Green Garden for a short break in mid February 2010. We were collected from the airport by car and after about half an hour arrived at the hotel. The receptionist was very welcoming and attentive to our needs and the room that had been allocated to us was great. Very well appointed and warm. we were only there for 4 days and the sheets were also changed during our stay. We ate in the dining room most nights and the food was very nice, well presented ad freshly cooked to order. the wine was also very drinkable. All in I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to prague.

comments Other than the location, I really enjoyed my stay. I was hoping your location was closer to the tourist activities. Since I was traveling alone, it was expensive to take taxis at night since it isn't safe to walk back to the hotel alone. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The girl at the front desk every day was very nice and very helpful. Also the man who manages the food services was very nice and friendly as well as the bar staff. I really enjoyed my room and my overall experience there.

Tea/coffee making facilites means a kettle you have to buy sackets of tea and coffee from the reception we thought this was a little petty. The restaurant serves excellent food, breakfast was always fresh and plentiful, we ate dinner in the hotel a couple of nights and this was very good. Overall we thought the hotel was good value for money our room wasa good size and well furnished.

comments If you like clean rooms, family atmosphere, supportive, happy and extremly friendly staff just book at the Green Garden. If in Praque, I will never search for other place. Very satisfied and happy to provide such opinion.

comments Clean and tidy and a good base for seeing the city of Prague. Although it was no major problem it could be made clearer that tea, coffee and milk etc is available from the breakfast room.

comments It was a very pleasant stay. Just one comment: review room 301 lamps: nightstand's one doesn't work. And ceiling lamp clinks when people in the above floor walk.

comments All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Rooms were well appointed, very clean, and appeared newly refurbished (June 2009). Breakfasts offered plentiful choice, buffer-style. Free internet access in bar/reception areas.

comments I found the reception personnel friendly and helpful and the room was exceptionally well appointed. It was decorated in a pleasing style, with high quality linen. I also appreciated that it was within walking distance of attractions.

comments We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Green Garden very much. The hotel was helpful and friendly. The breakfast and breakfast service could not be beat!!! I would recommend this hotel to my friends and would return on a future date.

comments The hotel did seem at first to be a little further from the old town than stated but once we had our bearings it really was only a 15 minute walk into Wencelas Square. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, particularly the beds. Hotel staff were very helpful.

comments Overall the hotel was excellent. I had a suite (407) which was enormous. The decor was a bit 'dark' and could have been more modern in style but it was all new and exceptionally clean. Staff were friendly. A nice family run hotel very close to the center. The one down side was it was slightly noisy due to being on a main rd but this did not detract from the overall experience.

comments Have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Green Garden Hotel in Prague. Had a wonderful stay, spotlessly clean everywhere, lovely rooms and food very good and reasonably priced. No complaints at all, reception staff very helpful also Daniel and Stanley were both very helpful towards the four of us. My only negative comment would be that there were no tea, coffee making facilities in the room - take your travel kettle with you ! Am sure you will enjoy your stay. Would definitely go back again. Thanks again.
