Unser Eindruck von ihrem Haus und dem Service war absolut überragend.Die Zimmer,der Ausblick,der Empfang an der Reception und natürlich der Abend in ihrer Gastwirtschaft (speziel der Kellner in der Samstagabendschicht war sehr nett) waren sehr schön.Also ,vielen Dank für den netten Aufenthalt. comments Отличный отель в своем классе. Прекрасный вид и месторасположение. Уборка, персонал, обслуживание, удобства в номере - все на должном уровне. Wi-Fi, TV все отлично, хорошая подборка программ на нескольких языках, в т.ч. русском и чешском. Очень тихо и спокойно. Уютная обстановка в номере, удобные кровати. В номере тепло, есть возможность регулировки температуры. Хотелось бы чтобы завтраки были до 11.00. Останавливались на 11 дней, очень довольны.

comments My stay at the Golden Star was, as usual, most enjoyable. This is the fifth year in a row that I have stayed there. The location of the hotel is excellent, two minutes from the castle. The rooms are very comfortable, and the restaurant is excellent. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.

comments Splendido Hotel! Stanze pulitissime e personale cortese. Buona posizione perchè attaccato al Castello, quindi abbastanza centrale anche se non nel caos della vita notturna. Non troppo agevole da raggiungere perchè alla fine di una salita piuttosto ripida.

comments très bel hôtel, parfaitement situé avec super vue et personnel très sympathique. Chambre conforme à la description, et suffisament confortable ! Seul le pain au petit déjeuner pourrait être améliorer, mais c'est le fait d'être français qui nous fait dire ceci! Sinon, hôtel à recommander!

comments Very nice hotel, very nice staff, recomendable. We had a deluxe room with a good view, that we can recomend, very nice and romatic (the mattress are a little bit hard) The location is perfect, it's right beside the castle and you are in walking distance to everything and if you get tired jump on a tram. The hotel is located on a small hill, so walking home gives good leg muscles :o) don't recomend the hotel for people in wheel chairs og problems with walking because it goes up for about 400 metres. The breakfast is fine, but the coffee is a little light, fortunetly starbucks is 400 metres from the hotel. If we come back we would definetly stay at the Golden Star again.

comments Great position. Perfect for romantic evening walks. The hotel is very nice and confortable. I have been there three times and will come back. Stuff at the reception is very charming and helpful.

comments Wonderful European hotel, located just steps from the Prague Castle (seriously - STEPS!). Gorgeous view from the hotel - you are at the top of a hill, and look out over "old" Prague. Not a very touristy area for staying, though the streets are filled during the day. Quiet area at night, with a great local pub just steps up the hill! Fantastic breakfast!

comments This hotel was the perfect spot for a trip to Prague with a friend. The location provided amazing views and really great walking access to all tourist points in the city. The concierge was perfectly helpful, and even assisted us in getting tickets to a concert that fit into our budget. From the complimentary breakfast to the computer provided for Internet access to the hotel's restaurant, I was extremely pleased with my stay here, and wouldn't hesitate to book again!

comments Zuerst waren wir etwas geschockt, da wir ein Zimmer erhielten, welches 2 getrennte Betten hatte. Aber einen Tag später dann zogen wir in das sicherlich schönste Zimmer unter dem Dach um, mit einem fantastischen Ausblick! Das Frühstück war zufriedenstellend, aber wahrscheinlich dem tschechischen 4-Sterne-Standard entsprechend. Der Service vom Personal war sehr gut! Alles in Allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt!

comments Almost perfect stay. We enjoyed our time, very helpful receptionists. Great, clean room(s), beautiful furniture, nice bed. Two things I would like to mention: I felt that the breakfast was lacking a bit of choices. No stirred eggs or ham, only one kind of ham and salami and two types of cheese. I guess Czech cuisine has more to offer ;-) Furthermore, if you advertise WLAN, make sure that there is WLAN in the whole building and not just in the lobby (ask for WLAN repeaters). Nevertheless, the staff was so kind to borrow a cable and it was not an issue any more. Kind Regards.

comments The desk personnell and the waiters were lovely to us. I think it might be better to tell people that a daily taxi can be caught down in the Square, altho the airport taxi was very good and well worth the money. Lovely rooms, good food in the restaurant, friendly people who helped with foot travel and sightseeing. Lovely, warm atmosphere. I loved the SIZE of the hotel and the charm of the rooms. Decor gets an A-plus. The TV sets are a bit shoddy, but I loved getting CNN. You may use my first name, Mary from Oregon, in the review, but not my last name, please.

comments The room was large, the amenities, i.e. hair dryer closet space etc., were more than adequate and the staff superb. Oh, did I mention the location? Just below the castle and within walking distance of Charles Bridge? Hey, this is one dandy location.

comments The hotel is located very close to Prague Castle so it is easy to find and in the heart of Prague. We had a beautiful view of the city. The breakfast buffet (included in the price) had a great selection. Definitely will stay here again if given the opportunity.

comments The Hotel is located on a beautiful location at the top of the first tranche of Nerudova street. The view from the chambers at the last floor is simply incredible, there is all the old city in front of you! The room that we tried was clean and extremely large, really comfortable. The breakfast is continental with a predominancy of salt foods rather than sweet. The transports (tram, or bus) are close but you have to consider to walk a little bit (up or down depending on the stop that you choose) on a hill. In any case the Hotel is 100% suggested.

comments Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel as it is a beatiful traditional building and is in an extremely good location. The view from our room was superb. However as it was so hot, some consideration should be given to either air-con or ceiling fan installation.

comments I'm Danish and have lived in a hotel Golden Star two times. I've been extremely happy with both my stays there. It is a good and nice hotel, and there is a very satisfactory service both the hotel and the restaurant. Located very centrally in the historic district, with easy access to all major attractions. comments Rein à dire de négatif. Hôtel avec beaucoup de charme, calme, propre, avec une situation idéale dans le centre historique, petit dej' copieux et varié, personnel serviable et sympathique... Attention, il y a une bonne côte pour arriver à l'hôtel qui, au bout de 5 jours, peut faire mal aux mollets.

comments already our arrival at the hotel was georgous. from our beautiful room we overlooked the old road which lead directly to th Hratschin. The reception desk gave us a warm welcome and we got a nice table for our christmals dinner. It was quiet on our rooms. On the other hand we were five minutes form the center

comments Lovely hotel with fantastic views of the city from our room, high standard of furnishings and fittings, friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast - what more can one want from a hotel of this size and class?! Quite a steep climb up the street from the tram stop and Charles Bridge, but that's only to be expected from its location near Prague castle and does produce those great views!

comments Nice rooms with character; large and clean bathroom. In my case, beautiful views downhill Nerudova St. - even to landmark buildings across the river Vltava. Very friendly service; fast response to e-mail inquiries. Great: free wireless in the restaurant. A note of caution for US guests: during summer months the sun is heating up the rooms. No AC. I was very comfortable by opening a window at night and using the fan. Highly recommendable.

comments Beautiful view from a very spacious room, reasonable price. Breakfast room was a little cold but maybe that was because generally it was too cold for July. Internet is available on a computer in the lobby, no WLAN. Staff is helpful and interested. Be prepared to climb the hill to the castle everytime you want to return to your hotel: The nearest bus/tram stop is 600m away and the road is very steep. Following the instructions on the confirmation it is very easy (and quick) to get there with public transport so there is no need to spend extra for it.
