comments Hotel desk staff was very helpful and all we encountered spoke very good English. Hotel and our room was clean and comfortable. The heated towel racks were fabulous! Breakfast had a wonderful variety. We will use this hotel again when we return to Prague! The only negative, wireless internet does not extend to the room. Very strong signal in lobby and breakfast area.

comments We booked a 4 person room, which was very large. Two separate sleeping rooms, a hallway and bath room + separate toilet. It was nice and clean, not expensive, good situated and silent. Every morning we could eat a nice breakfast at the hotel as well. Only drawback for us was that the mattrass were very thin. Overall we had a nice stay.

comments Der Aufenthalt war wieder sehr angenehm. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und bieten viel Platz. Die Lage des Hotels ist optimal, da es sich um eine ruhige Umgebung handelt. Das Hotelpersonal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend und die Bezahlung unkompliziert. Wenn ich das nächste Mal in Prag bin, werde ich auf jedenfall wieder hier buchen. Vielen Dank!

comments Der Aufenthalt im Hotel war wirklich super. Die Zimmer waren unglaublich riesig und auch sehr toll eingerichtet. Die Dame am Empfang war sehr nett, der bewachte Parkplatz vollig in Ordnung (auch wenn es beim Ein-und Ausfahren etwas eng zuging). Man ist wirklich in ein paar Minuten bei der nächsten Metro-Station und binnen 15-20 Minuten am Wenzelsplatz. Kleine Abstriche (deshalb nur 4 und keine 5 Punkte): - sehr kleiner Aufzug (für 3 Personen - dann lieber doch die Treppe) - das Frühstück: es war insoweit ok, nur der Kaffee war nicht gut - während unseres Aufenthaltes war es leider nicht möglich, mit Kreditkarte zu zahlen (somit konnten wir aber unsere letzen Kronen noch "loswerden"). Wir waren 8 Personen und unser Beschluss steht fest: Dieses Hotel werden wir auch im nächsten Jahr wieder beehren.

comments Finding the Hotel City Bell, was very easy and not far from the Metro stop, we expected it to be a lot harder to find. When we arrived we were welcomed by a lovely man, who spoke good english and helped us check in. The hotel was extremely clean and spacious. Our room was massive! We have travelled around for the last two summers visiting different European Cities and this was by far the biggest room we have had. Some people may say that it was quite basic, but it had everything we required and most importantly it was clean and secure. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and enjoyed the continental breakfast. We loved Prague as a city and would recommend both the hotel and the city! Thank you City Bell! Leanne

comments Vielen Dank für den gelungenen Aufenthalt im City-Bell! Das Hotel liegt in einem ruhigen Viertel am Rande der Altstadt von Prag, zu Fuß braucht man eine Viertelstunde zur U-Bahn-Station Muzeum, die nächste Station ist schon der Wenzelsplatz (zu Fuß weitere 10 min.) Die nächstgelegene U-Bahnstation ist sogar keine 10 min. vom Hotel weg. Das Hotel ist in einem alten Gebäude mit sehr hohen und großen Räumen. Die Ausstattung ist nicht modern, aber sehr sauber alles! Das Bad in unseren Appartment (4-6 Personen) war keine Wellnessoase, aber zum Waschen und Duschen in der Badewanne in Ordnung. Das WC zeigt, wie klein es geht (ca. 1 m2). Als 2m-Mann stieß ich im Sitzen mit den Knien an der Tür an. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und konnte teils Englisch, teils sogar Deutsch! Das Frühstücksbuffet überraschte damit, dass es mehr als Semmeln, Marmelade umd Brot gab. Die extra anzumietende Garage für das Auto lag zwar auf der anderen Straßenseite, glich dafür aber eher Fort Knox als einer Einladung zum Diebstahl und war so leer, dass wohl kein Dritter unser Auto zu Gesicht bekommen hat. Insgesamt ein vermutlich unschlagbares Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis für die Prager Innenstadt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

comments This hotel was great for families traveling with children. The staff spoke perfect English, were very friendly and knowledgable on the sites to see and restaurants in the area. The hotel itself is older but worth the price.

comments The Hotel is situated in a nice quite elegant area,close to the Central Square.The staff is not very proficient with English but they make it up with smile and helpful attitude.Full marks to all of them whether at the reception or at the breakfast table.The room was large and clean.How I wish that the TV also has some "English" channels also.Mexican restaurant diagonanally across the road serves good food at reasonable price.The Italian restaurant opposite the Hotel has an excellent bar and the food is good.City Bell is really worth the money. Our sincere thanks to the staff for taking care of us.

comments Staying at the City Bell Hotel it was very comfortable,the location was great and the rooms were very spacious and clean! The staff was friendly (Vladimir & Veronika) ;-) and helpful! Little advice that i would point out is that they could offer a slightly better breakfast with perhaps more food option eg. Croissants, nutella etc.. more continental! And i would suggest them,to offer fresh bath towel daily in the rooms! Apart from that it was a great staying! Thanks guys warm regards from an Italian living in London! ;-)

comments En relacion calidad- precio es perfecto. Esta a dos paradas de metro del centro, en una zona muy tranquila con bares y tiendas a dos calles. Las habitaciones son muy grandes, la unica pega que encontre fue que el water estaba separado de la bañera y el lavabo, y muy muy pequeño. El desayuno sencillo pero bien. En general volveria a repetir.

comments Our stay at your hotel was fabulous! The rooms were large and very comfortable. The wireless internet worked without any problems. Hotel staff were always helpful and courteous, and spoke English exceptionally well (though I wish I knew a bit more Czech). The location is excellent -- outside of the main tourist areas, but within easy reach by public transportation. Thank you for a wonderful visit to Prague!

comments My wife and I stayed at the City Bell Hotel for five nights this summer. We just looked for at descent Hotel at a reasonable price. The Staff were always helpful and kind doing their best to keep us happy. Our room was cleaned and we received new towels every day. Lots of plugs in the room made charging of mobile and camera easy. The keycard actually worked wich is not always the case even in five star hotels. Breakfast was simple but always fresh. Furniture was also simple but ok. On our arrival we received all the information we needed to make our first time in Prague a nice experience. English was understood and spoken. The hotel is situated in a quiet neighbourhood, but at the same time very close to metrostation. Very nice restaurant nearby just ask in reception. All in all we vere very happy with our stay, and we will certainly recommend The City Bell Hotel to anyone who is looking for a nice but not luxurious place to stay while in Prague.

comments Wir waren mit 5 Männern dort und haben uns ein entsprechendes 5-Mann-Appartment gebucht und müssen ausnahmslos zugeben, dass wir uns weniger erwartet hatten. Soll heißen, dass wir sehr positiv überrascht waren, als wir eintraten. Das Appartment hatte hohe Räume und die Aufteilung war klasse. Das Gesamtbild kann man als gepflegt bezeichnen und wir waren echt erstaunt, für einen solch niedrigen Preis so eine gute Unterkunft entdeckt zu haben. Die Rezeption und das Personal waren immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Internetnutzung an der Rezeption und Aushilfe mit Regenschirmen waren selbstverständlich. Wir sind echt sehr positiv überrascht und empfehlen heute schon weiter und würden auch immer wieder hinfahren! Die Lage ist ideal und man ist in weniger als 10 Min. am Startpunkt in der Stadt und steht am Wenzelsplatz! PRIMA

comments Хороший отель, рядом с метро Площадь мира. Есть гараж и парковка. Большие (даже огромные номера). И тихий район. Завтрак средний, но утром достаточно, а больше в Праге и не нужно. Бесплатный интернет в номерах (проводной, если необходимо - патчкорд дадут на ресепшене).

The only complaint was that the internet did not reach our room on the 3rd floor, but we were still able to get the internet in the lobby. Thanks!

comments I had lovely time with my boyfriend in Bell City Hotel. As a hotel manager in England I can say that hotel is in great hands ! and everything was as we wanted for holiday break. Warm and helpful staff explain us everything, and showed the best things to see in Praha. Located about 10 min from town centre what makes this place more fantastic. Hotel is very clean and huge. We had room 24 very, very big sunny room with shower room, and sitting area, - coffee table and armchairs.. great! Service was as should be, and breakfast as a buffet, so you can eat what you want. City Bell hotel we are going to visit again probably in summer time.. because hotel is great and Praha is beautiful. With pleasure I would like to recommend Bell City Hotel. Than you for making our stay sooo great!!!! Well done ! Ewa and Adam

comments On the down side, the shower was faulty; the shower head did not fit the holding bracket - I reported this to staff, but no action was taken, so I borrowed some tape from reception, and improvised a soloution. Also, the bathroom door made a lot of noise when opening or closing, so I used some sop to lubricate all the components, and this worked. The breakfast was ok, but nothing hot - ok for 3 star. The staff were friendly, and very helpfull - so on a value for money basis, we would go back.

comments It was a pleasant stay all in all. The hotel has a good location in a residential neighborhood of Prague. It is well connected with public transport and within 15 minutes you can be in the old city. The staff is mainly friendly and cooperative. The single room I had is quite big although the floor was kind of strange (un-even). I think it was a bit expensive but all in all it was fine.

comments I hvae one word for it: fantastic. It was clean, with an enormous room (stayed at a room for 3, but it had space easily for at least 5), it was clean, and it had wonderful seats!! Me and my friend were kidding about taking them home :) As for the location we didn't have any problems at all. It is a 500m away (approx) from the subway and a tram station, accessible 24 hours a day. If you visit Prague, I highly recomand it.

comments Just returned from a lovely visit to Prague. The location of Hotel City Bell is very good, and suited our group, which included my 84 year old mother. Well within walking distance of Wencelas square and the Old Town. Staff very helpful, and provided a kettle and milk so we could enjoy tea in our rooms. Highly recommend Hotel City Bell, and Prague (especially in December).

comments We thought it was clean, quiet and spacious. The staff at the desk was very friendly and helpful. It is a nice area to stay, near restaurants and bars along with being close to the metro.

comments Ein wirklich gutes Hotel. Perfekte Lage und die Parkmöglichkeiten haben unsere Vorstellungen übertroffen, da wir anstatt eines normalen Parkplatzes sogar eine abschließbare Garage bekommen haben. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

comments I was extremely happy with the rooms. But there was some confusion over the price at the end of the stay. The booking form I gave them disappeared and the rooms ended up costing a little more. this was resolved by the staff, who were very helpful. Would have been better if the initial booking and final payment were in the same currency

comments The hotel is very clean, rooms are nicely furnished and spacious, location is also great - less than 10 minutes to Namesti Miru metro station. The staff is very helpfull and friendly. We will definitely choose this hotel for our next visit to Prague.

comments Amazing rooms - it's lke a mini flat where you have an entrance hall of which is a massive bedroom, a toilet an bathroom. The staff are all extremely pleasant as well and the breakfast is good. The hotel is a two minute walk from a metro and tram stop, 5-10 minute walk to Muzeum (edge of town) and a 10 minute walk to the centre of the new town. Also, if you leave the hotel to walk towards the town, there is a street on the left on which is an excellent Italian restaurant and lovely bar for cocktails which are well worth a visit. The cocktail bar is the second one on the left side of the street!

comments L'hotel è in posizione comoda per il centro e ben servito da tram e metropolitane. Il quartiere è piacevole e ricco di locali e ristoranti. La stanza, molto spaziosa, è stata trovata ben pulita all'arrivo, ma non altrettanto ben curata nei giorni del soggiorno (gli asciugamani non sono mai stati cambiati). Personale cortese, colazione soddisfacente.

comments Reception staff could definitely use some English language training so they could communicate with the customers clearly. The credit card facilities were out of order at the time of the check out, so the bill had to be settled a week later. Otherwise, the hotel offers great value for money in terms of location, standards, facilities, breakfast, etc. Thank you!

comments Rooms were suprisingly large and quite comfortable. Location was close to city centre but very quiet in the evenings. Plenty of local pubs/ restaurantas and all very cheap. Only one suggestion and that is there are no tea making facilities in roms which would be a plus.

comments Das Hotel ist wirklich sehr nett, das Personal sehr, sehr freundlich! Was mir nicht so gefallen hat, waren Bad und Klo, die Bilder im Internet versprechen da ein bisschen mehr als wir dann letztendlich gehabt haben. War jetzt aber nicht schlimm. Das Zimmer an sich war sehr groß und voll in Ordnung. Frühstücksbuffet ist zwar nicht sehr groß, aber wirklich ausreichend und gut. Weiters fanden wir die Lage auch sehr super. Man kann das Zentrum zu Fuß, oder mit der Metro (1 Station) erreichen. Alles in allem hatten wir einen tollen Aufenthalt in Prag!
