comments Z pobytu mam pozitivni pocit, ocenil bych zejmena personal a velmi dobre snidane. Mel bych avsak jednu pripominku ke sprse. Nezda se mi stastne reseni davat do sprch zavesy, ktere se pri sprchovani neprijemne lepi na telo, nehlede na naslednou potopu v koupelne. Az na tuhle vec jsem byl velmi spokojen. comments s ubytováním ve vašem hotelu jsem velmi spokojen, zejména bych rád ocenil celý personál hotelu, který je velmi profesionální a milý. měl bych pouze 2 náměty ke zlepšení, které jsou ovšem zcela subjektivní a rozhodně mne neodradí v dalším využívání vašich služeb tj. klimatizace a u snídaní čerstvé ovoce nakrájené přímo ke konzumaci, jak jsem zvyklý, pak bych se cítil zcela jako doma:o).

comments Some friends and me have had a really nice stay in mid-March. We had two double rooms and one of it even had a bath tub. -lovely staff any time -nicely arranged rooms -great quality interior -very beautiful lobby and halls -very beautiful breakfast room and good breakfast -very clean all of it to a very good price. comments Hallo. Meine Freundin und ich waren für ein Wochende im März in Prag. Das Hotel war sehr schön. Was besseres kann man von einem drei Sterne Hotel nicht erwarten. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und das Frühstück ausreichend. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und wir hatten einen schönen Blick auf den Fluss. Wer jung ist udn die Stadt auch ausserhalb des Zentrums erkunden will, ist dies der perfekte Ort.

comments Angenehmes Ambiente, schönes Zimmer (3-Bett für zwei Personen), Balkon, Innenhof. Frühstück in Ordnung. Sehr sauber! Die Lage war gut, da in unmittelbarer Nähe die wichtigsten Verkehrsmittel starteten (U-Bahn, S-Bahn). Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gut. Eine wunderbare Stadt, wir werden wieder kommen!

comments My wife and I highly recommend Hotel Angelis. We will stay there again when we return to Prague. The bedroom and bathroom were sparkling clean and comfortable; the hotel staff friendly and helpful; and the location is quiet and also convenient because it is one block from streetcar lines. The breakfast offers everything we wanted--we looked forward to it. This was our first trip to Prague. We flew into the airport. Here are some useful things we learned: 1. Make money at an ATM located by the exit. Remember that (in May, 2010) that 5 U.S. cents = one Czech dollar. Thus 1,000 Czech dollars equals $50.00 U.S. 2. If you take a cab into the city, go online first, and order one to pick you up. The fare to downtown (about 30 minutes) should be about $35. U.S. Taxis are unregulated, so establish your price before setting out. In the spirit of free enterprise, the drivers will charge what you will bear, so expect to negotiate. On balance, prices are about what we pay in the U.S. 3. Alternatively, you can catch a bus at the airport that will take you to the main R.R. station in New Town. From there you can walk a couple of blocks to a streetcar (a tram) that will take you to Hotel Angelis. To buy a tram ticket, walk out the main exit from the train station. With your back to the station, turn right and follow the walkway to the street. At the street, turn left. On the other side of a kiosk, you will find an automatic ticket machine. You can buy the cheapest ticket (about 18 cents CZH), good for 20 minutes. (Get change in the station, first.) Look at the tram map (that you printed off at home after googling "Prague Tram System." to see the number of the tram. You can board at the stop in front of you. Or, you can walk back to the main entrance, turn right, and walk to the street in front of you. Head left for the first street that meets at an angle. Walk up that street. At the end of the block is another tram stop. When you board the tram, look for a yellow box. Insert your tram ticket for a date/time stamp. That starts the time running. It's about 10 minutes to the Hotel Angelis stop "Na Knezeci." Exit the tram. Walk down the block in front of (Pivovarska) you to Hotel Angelis, located about 2/3rds of the way down, on the right. 4. Instead of cab, you can also take the bus. Take BUS 100 to ZLICIN, the final stop on the 'B' line subway. You can buy subway tickets from either human or machine. They cost the same as tram and bus. Your bus ticket will transfer, so buy about 60 minutes worth of time at the airport. In the subway, pick up English version of tram/subway route map. You will get off the subway at ANDEL. From there, exit. With you back to the ridge behind you, walk down to the main commercial street. Turn right. Walk about three-four blocks to Pivovarska street, turn left, and you'll see Hotel Angelis on the right. It's about a five-ten minute walk. (This is what we will do on our next visit.) 5. Take trams to your various destinations (or the subway). If you are of a certain age, you can ride free with proof of age. Considering buying, say, 10 or 20 cheapest tram tickets at one time. Then you don't have to scout for a ticket-selling machine. Most of your tram rides will be under 20 minutes. 6. It takes about 8 minutes tram ride to Lesser Town and Old Town. About the same to New Town.

comments We got a quiet room facing the garden just the way we had previously requested it. In addition, the room was beautifully furnished, and the beds were very comfortable but the water and the heaters weren't hot enough. Continental breakfast is boring after the 3rd morning but good overall. You can park your car for free in the street of the hotel and the center is a convenient 20 min.walk from there. We'll definitely come back to Angelis again, we had a nice experience there.

comments This is the second year we've booked the Hotel Angelis and we will definitely stay there the next time we visit Prague. The hotel is lovely, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very nice, the breakfast is better than most you find throughout Europe, and the room rate is very reasonable.

comments We used the hotel pick-up txi service from the airport and it was a good decision. A large, clean car and a friendly driver, it took about 30 minutes to reach the hotel. We were warmly greeted on arrival at reception and our room on the ground fllor was spacious and airy and had a mini-bar, safe and a balcony overlooking a small, but well-kept, enclosed garden. Breakfast, (included) was perfectly adequate buffet-style fare and the city-centre a mere 5-10 minutes by tram. My only negative comment is that there was no coffee supplied in the room on our arrival and the sink and bath drains were rather blocked as the water drained away very slowly. Coffee was provided immediately on request and as we stayed only 2 nights, the drain problem has probably been addressed. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

comments Clean, comfortable, quite, friendly and worth for living are my impression to this hotel. The basic requirement of a three star hotel is absolutely matched and can be highly recommended to upgrade as a 4 star hotel if the following has the improvement. The things lacking were tea /coffee making facilities and shower curtain. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to seek for a valuable hotel similar with my needs and wants. Thanks to Angelis hotel and let me and my wife having a pleasant memories in Prague.

comments Hotel Angelis is a real find - beautifully furnished rooms, lovely balconies overlooking a secluded small garden, excellent service and a good, simple breakfast buffet. The location is also good - just a few short stops from the centre by tram, two by metro, and around 4 Euro by taxi laterat night. The area itself, next to the Staroproamen brewery, has plenty of good restaurants and cafes as well. Overall an excellent hotel and an excellent bargain.
