We arranged to be collected when we arrived at the airport - this unfortunately did not happen as they forgot about our booking ... when i rang the hotel they couldn't apologise enough, which i thought 'fair enough' these things happen. When we arrived into Old Town Square and saw where our hotel was we couldnt have been happier... until we saw the bedroom and view - it was fabulous. We had a brilliant time at this hotel. It was spotless, warm and very comfortable. Staff were extremely nice and friendly. Breakfast was good - apart from the food was let run out and wasnt topped up regularly. We loved this hotel and would definately return - and would recommend it to others travelling to Prague.

	Beautiful rooms, terrific staff and service, unbeatable location, wonderful breakfast buffet. We had an issue with air conditioning during the seasonal switch from heating to cooling in May, but the staff was very accomodating and brought in a fan. Great experience all in all.

	we've stayed 4 nights at the hotel . the personel was perfect . we changed our room after one night because we had one on the back side on the first floor without any view. We were were lucky to get room 312 which is in fact the top floor with the best view on the old clock tower . the central situation of this hotel is perfect.

Все очень понравилось, место расположение, завтраки, рецепция, обслуживание номеров. Всем большое спасибо за отдых, мы отдыхали с маленьким ребенком (2,5 года). Номер выходил на тихую улочку. Минус поставили за то, что при бронировании отеля забронировали и трансфер а он за нами не приехал ( отель вернул деньги- спасибо). На следующий год вернемся снова в этот отель. Спасибо.

	The room of first night is too noisy. The room of 2nd night is great, but the bathroom is a little bit wired... I almost don't know how to have a shower in it... But basically, I like the expericence in Grand Hote. And I really enjoy it. Thanks!!

My short break got off to a slightly stressful start when the taxi transfers that we booked through the hotel failed to turn up. When I contacted the hotel, they said that they had not booked our transfer because they had not received our flight details, which I had indeed sent. However, this was sorted out once we got to the hotel and we were reimbursed for the taxi that we had to get for ourselves. We found the staff at the hotel to be very friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are clean and well presented and the location is fantastic! I would highly recommend this hotel. Just make sure that your flight details have been received and transfers have indeed been arranged.

The hotel was wonderfully located right in the old town square. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating to ensure you had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Breakfast included a wide variety of foods and the 4 course meal with classical music entertainment was wonderful. The food was delicious and the entertainment was captivating. Well worth it! The only fault was that our bed's mattress was extremely hard and didn't help with getting a good night's sleep.

We loved staying at Grand Hotel Praha. The staff people were all wonderful--gracious, helpful, patient, and kind. (The housekeeper made an effort to come and find us to thank us for a small gratuity we had left in the room for her, for example, and when we had to leave for an early flight, a staff member prepared a breakfast-to-go for us, without our asking for or expecting such service.) The location is perfect, and we enjoyed being able to see the Astronomical Clock regularly. The room was beautifully furnished and provided all the amenities anyone could want. iWe would definitely stay here again.

La posizione dell'Hotel è la migliore per visitare la città di Praga. La sala brewfast è bellissima ed accogliente e si può fare una piacevole prima colazione davanti all'Orologio Astronomico. A proposito del brekfast: complimneti per il buffet! Il vostro personale è gentile e premuroso. La camera da letto è tranquilla, accogliente e pulitissima , con mobili di "atmosfera" ma forse un pò troppo vecchiotti. Purtroppo non bello l'affaccio della nostra finestra, ma è l'unica nota non eccellente ed è probabilmente lo scotto da pagare per godere della tranquillità notturna. Ci siamo comunque trovati molto bene e nel nostro prossimo viaggio a Praga prenoteremo ancora nell'Hotel Praha!

	Everything went perfect: the reservation through Internet, transfer from the airport, the room, breakfast, and the amazing clock view from our room and from the breakfast room (which is an amazing room with a Cafe atmosphere with a perfect view of the clock). I recommend it from my 29 countries travel experience and if I comeback I will sure be there again.

	Hotel provided excellent service, and even a repair to the shower was attended to speedily. My only comment is that tea/coffee making facilities should be provided in bedrooms, as is normal in all hotels of this standard that I have visited.

	We enjoyed our stay. Room 211 was great. Fun view of the square. Breakfast was delicious. Michael was helpful after check-in and later with the in-room safe. If our travels include Prague we'll return to the Grand Hotel Praha!

We loved our attic room and the staff were so helpful especially helping with getting our 3 large international sized suite cases up to the attic room (no lift). The room was amazing with all its beautiful antique furniture and the location of the hotel is central to everything. The buffet breakfast a treat. Only a couple of small issues; there was no tea and coffe facilities in the room so a late night cuppa to warm up was not possible. the other is the heater kept defaulting to a temperature too cold for us Australians who had come from 30 degrees. I had to keep putting the temperature up a degree or so on a regular basis which was just a bit anoying but once I got used to it I found I just got on with the task.

- potreba - skultúrniť vstup do hotela - riešiť zmluvného parkovacieho partnera - safe na laptop - obehové čerpadlo pre TUV, v noci dlho trvalo, pokial začala tiecť horúca voda - to je zbytočný náklad pre hotel - kúpelňa potrebuje pedantnejšie udržiavanie čistoty. - ................ ale, spal som u Vás len jednu noc :-)) nedostatok - ranný hluk zamestnancov pripravujúcich servis to bol nechcený budíček hlboko pred 06.00 hod.

	Excellent hotel, perfect location, great breakfast. Room was beautiful with an amazing view. The only downside was the bed was not comfortable but it was antique so we accepted that. Would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it.

	Excellent location in the old town. We had a beautiful room (facing the astronomical clock) and looking out on to the whole square. We were there for the wonderful Christmas markets. Service in our experience was great. Good selection of continental spread for breakfast.

	I had an extraordinary five night stay at the Grand Praha Hotel for my tenth wedding anniversary. The view was incomparable, and the ambiance totally romantic. Worth going all the way from Mexico for such a special ocassion!

As an architect, I found our room terriffic, nice authentic materials put together with good craftmanship and taste. I really felt that someone had thougt carefully about it all would be experienced. However I disliked the beige carpets in the corridor, they should be replaced with more colourful ones so they don´t look dirty (although I don´t think they were). The reception should be faceing the stairs and the desk should be in standing hight. And it should be more obvious how to get there! Overall we had a wonderful weekend and I´m glad we stayed at the Grand Hotel!

	Just returned from a month in Europe and our stay at the Hotel in Prague was a highlight of the trip. A perfect location, easy to walk to sites and access to trams and trains, museums, and the Opera. Very happy with everything and the staff were particularly helpful. Best.

	Loved the location especially the view of the Astronomical clock outside our window. Our room was spacoius, clean and comfortable. Free Wifi a nice advanatage compared to 12 Euro's a day in Vienna. Only down side is the noise from outside around the clock & sqaure at night. A trade off we accepted for the wonderfu; view

	Our 5 night stay at Grand Hotel Praha greatly exceeded our expectations. First, the breakfasts were terrific leading to a good day all 5 days. Next, the location is perfect for enjoying the city. 	Our recent experience at the Grand Hotel Praha was excellent! From the start (reservations on internet), our special request (flowers in room), our entire 4 day stay (large and exceptionally clean room), responsive assistance (luggage and car parking), resulted in a very pleasant visit to Prague.

Excellent location! Nice and friendly hotel staff. Since I traveled by myself, having such nice hotel staff helped me a lot. I could feel at home. The room I stayed was wonderful. Just in front of the clock! It wasn't a big trouble for me hat people got together every one hour. I even enjoyed it. It had been very hot during my stay in Prague. It was very convenient that I could come back to the hotel very easily and take a rest for a moment when I was exhausted. That because of the perfect location. I also enjoyed breakfast at the Grand Cafe surrounded with a lot of beautiful Meissens. Thank you very much and I would like to come back to the Grand Hotel Praha someday.

Even though we were in the annex and had to go up 2 flights of stairs several times a day, this hotel was FABULOUS and very affordable. The room and bathroom were HUGE and VERY luxurious. The staff very friendly they even went as far a to try to give us wi-fi in the room even though the annex doesn't have a connection. It didn't work but they tried really hard. I will recommend this hotel to everyone I know. It's my second trip to Prague, and have traveled to MANY European countries. This for by far one of the greatest accomodations. Bravo

	Excellent location, very helpful staff. There were building works going on while we stayed, but we moved our room to the back of the hotel where it was quieter, and this was perfect.

We had a lovely stay in Prague at the Grand Hotel Praha. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. We had a problem with the air conditioning in the room we had been given (there was some construction going on in the foyer which may have been the cause), and when we complained about it the following morning we were immediately moved to a much nicer room, without argument. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others as the location was just amazing - right opposite the famous clock and within easy reach of all the local attractions.

	Great location, beautiful rooms and very friendly staff! Aslo the WiFi connection was nice and fast which is important to us. All in all a big recommendation. The only complaint i have is that the shower is within the bathtub and its positioned a way too low. This seems to be the standard in Prague but it would be useful if this could be adjusted. Nice bathtub though so we didn't really mind.

I loved the Grand Hotel Praha. My 2 floor apartment was unbelieable and my friends thought I took the photos of your website until they saw me sitting there. The views of the clock and town square were priceless and I spent hours sitting on the window sill looking out. The location was the very best and the hotel staff could not have been more helpful. The fact that there was construction made things interesting and was the reason that I received the very best room the hotel offered. I felt like royalty!! Hotel has got excellent location, rooms are big and bright, bath-rooms very clean, breakfast is various and nice, hotel personal is friendly and helpful. Stayed at the Grand Praha for the 3rd time. It is a beautiful hotel and the location is excellent. The room was nice and clean and the fluffy bath robes make it that little bit more luxurious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only fault I have is that the bacon is not crispy at breakfast but you can't have everything!! I would definately recommend this hotel but if you are a light sleeper ask for a room at the back of the hotel as a one with a view can be quite noisy with the revellers below. All in all a great holiday and Prague is my favourite city.

We researched many many hotels in the Old Town Square area and chose Grand Hotel Praha. It was perfect. It is centrally located and you call walk to everyhting. We stayed in a "Grand Deluxe" room. While others gathered in front of the Astonomical Clock at the top of each hour, we merely leaned out our window. The double windows kept the noise out and was very quiet when we wanted quiet. The rooms were very neat and clean and very beautiful with antique decorations. The staff was very helpful and friendly. When we go back to Prague, we will dfinitely be staying at the Grand Hotel Praha.

Im pleased to say my stay at your Hotel was very satisfactory overall. Only a small criticism the shower glass rubber could have been cleaner. The staff were very helpful in planning tours and giving suggestions on places to go. Transfers to and from airport was made was made very easy with pick up you arranged. Location was perfect and found the rooms to be very clean and homely. I would happy recommend your hotel thanks for a great stay.

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Praha for a weekend-break. Booked a superior double room at a great price. Had expected the room to be a little bigger and would have loved a comfortable chair, but apart from that the room was well maintained, the decor suited the location, the bathroom was really nice and modern, staff was extremely friendly and welcoming - and the location of the hotel is superb. For my next stay I will try to get a room facing the plaza and the clock, because it was a bit noisy with a room facing a cobblestoned alley....and yes, I will definitely return :-)

Genial todo, la decoración, el trato amable de los recepcionistas y cafetería, y una muy buena climatización y limpieza, la habitación y el baño eran amplios. 	Firstly, thank you for an enjoyable visit, the service was 1st class from the beginning to the end of our stay. 	Great people make you feel comfortable and happy during your trip! And beautiful mood with original furnitures.. It was not a luxury + huge hotel, but it definitely worth to pay! Very good location to go every tourist attraction, and it's also very convenience because there is a Citi Bank ATM front side of building. I can just recommend there!

This was our third time staying at the Grand Hotel Praha, and we have been extremely satisfied each time. Twice we stayed in the same quaint room and once with our family we had the "attic" room. All the rooms are beautifully furnished and impecably clean. The location is fantastic and from there you can enjoy all the attactions of the Old Town Square. The entire staff is helpful, especially the bell staff that carried our luggage across the snow covered square to the hotel! It is this attention to detail and excellent level of service that will keep us coming back to the Grand Hotel Praha for years to come. Thanks for a wonderful trip!

	The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the historic and central areas of Prague. You can walk to everything except the castle in less than 15-20 minutes. There's also a bank, money exchange, and a Starbuck's nearby. The staff at the hotel are fantastic - very helpful and considerate.

My husband and I stayed in Prague at Grand Hotel Praha for 3 nights in mid Nov 2010, in a grand deluxe room. We found the hotel a little quirky, in that the entrance is via a a short hallway between a cafe (with yummy cakes!) and steakhouse/restaurant and you take a lift to the 1st floor for reception. The location is amazing, we were overlooking the Old Town Square and the Astronomical Clock was directly outside our window. We availed of the Jazz Dinner offered by the hotel, the food was excellent and the music was nice. All reception and concierge personnel were extremely helpful and friendly. We thought that the restaurant personnel were less friendly, in particular at breakfast time but that didn't bother us too much. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the hotel in terms of location, cleanliness, dinner and the assistance of reception personnel to help you find what/where you are looking for. Hotel location superb - right in the middle of everything & no need to take transport anywhere if going on a 4 day break. Plenty going on all around this area. Hotel lovely, room very nice - attic room which reflected the price of the stay, but no lift and some narrow stairs to negotiate. could be awkward for some people. Would have been nice to have kettle in room but this is not par for the course in Czech Republic hotels. Breakfast fine - room right opposite the astronomical clock. Hotel clean, bathroom clean & good toiletries provided. Would definitely use this hotel again. Very nice.

	We stayed in the Attic Suite! Beautiful and enormous rooms in a awesome location with perfect view of the clock and it's hourly show!! Like at about Apostle level... Hotel Personnel were great, breakfast is very good. THe cost of that great view/location however - means quite a bit of noise and light from very popular Old Town Square. That is our only complaint...

	we enjoyed ourn stay at Grand Hotel Praha,however I would sugest asking for a room away from the square. We loved our room, but it was a bit noisy. The staff at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful, especially Hana. The location of the hotel is fabulous, easy to get to shopping, restaurants, etc.

	There can not possibly be a better location in Prague. The room was large and the furnishings were real quality antiques. Free Wi-Fi and good discounts in attached restaurants. The staff all spoke English and they were extremely helpful and attended immediately to our every need. I will stay here again if I should ever return to Prague.

Hotel was beautiful and service impeccable! My only complaint was that it was SOOO HOT in the room! I know that during the time of our visit, much of Europe was experiencing a severe heat wave, so everyone's air conditioning was overworked. Our first night, we were given another room that was a little cooler, but our remaining nights were pretty warm. The breakfast provided was OUTSTANDING, and they even made us a prepackaged breakfast to take to the airport on the morning of our departure. If I am lucky enough to come to Prague in the future, I would definitely stay here!

	We very much enjoyed our stay with you and if we come back to Prague again we will stay with you, if I had to be super critical, there were a couple of things that weren't in the room, (Hairdryer, bulbs), but they were soon fixed. The location in the city was perfect, the room was stunning, the service excellent, defiantly recommend.

My wife and I paid extra for a room overlooking the Old Town Square and Clock. It turned out to be a great decision. We could relax with an open window and watch the crowds. Yet when we decided to go to bed and closed the windows, the room was quiet. The room itself was large and well appointed. We heartily recommend staying at the Grand Hotel Praha! PS - ask about using the hotel taxi; when you get your own you risk paying a lot more.

Our stay at the Grand Hotel Praha was a wonderful experience. Not only were we in the centre of Prague, but the room was large and beautifully appointed. The breakfast menu was comprehensive and even included a real coffee. Very difficult to find anywhere in Europe. The staff are all friendly and more than willing to help. Their language skills are also second to none. Thanks guys! When in Prague next, we will definately stay there again.

	Everything about The Grand Praha was exceptionally good. Location is the best in Prague for walking to all the historical districts. The staff was warm and friendly. We have stayed at many hotels over the years - however the Grand Hotel @ Prague is one of the best! For location, Breakfast and the staff. We had a superior room for 3 days then deluxe for the return, both were fantastic views from the hotel room were fabulous. Staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. We left purchases at hotel while we went to Vienna for 3 days on our return to Prague we found our room ready and staff had already left the purchases in our room. Vey efficient, on arrival staff give you maps of city and dicount vouchers for various premises, very handy! We would highly recommend the Grand Hotel and when we return to Prague we will be booking a room at the Grand hotel. May I just say Thankyou to all staff (receptionists, porters and housekeepers) at Grand hotel for making our first visit to Prague delightful, streesfree and fabulous experience. A wonderful hotel in a most excellent location. Our room was beautifully appointed and perfectly clean and tidy, with the astronomical clock just outside our window. Hotel staff happily looked after our bags following our early arrival so we were free to waltz about Praha for a few hours. Amenities leave nothing to be desired, the staff are brilliantly helpful and amicable. The Grand Cafe on the first floor serves some tastey treats and the included breakfast was also nice. I cannot complain about a single element of my time in the Grand Hotel Praha. I arrived with my girlfriend and left with my fiance; need I say more?

Lage des Hotels ausgezeichnet, soweit der Trubel auf dem Platz vor dem Haus nicht stört. Anbindung an den öffentlichen Verkehr etwas weit aber akzeptabel. Personal sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Innenarchitektur und Ausstattung gelungen und originell. Zimmereinrichtung im Historismus recht passend. Sauberkeit sehr zufriedenstellend. Ausblick aus dem rückwärtigen Zimmer etwas trist, dafür vom Kaffee und Frühstücksraum umso schöner. Küchengeruch und - entlüftungsgeräusch vor o.g. Zimmer unangenehm. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Hotel sehr zu empfehlen.

	This was a magnificent hotel. The room was nice clean well equipped (free wifi) and the location very central. The staff were the best of any hoel I've stayed in and ultra helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Eva and her colleague who helped us with our bags were fantastic - they couldn't have been more accommodating. Eva's ability to get a personal yet friendly service was extremely professional. She went the 'extra mile' in terms of helping us with local knowledge including advice on what to do and where would be good to eat etc. Furthermore She took the time to ask for our feedback on these places so that she could assist with future clientele for the hotel. She assisted with printing our boarding passes for the journey back which was hugely appreciated. Her colleague who carried our bags to your car when we left even paused for us while the Astronomical clock chimed and said that the Apostles were saying goodbye ! These are friendly touches that made the visit to Prague so incredibly enjoyable. I am a Director of a company that strives to offer the same level of customer care and it was a pleasure to experience this with your team. I think though that you should offer Rooms 103 and 104 as part of an exercise training plan - we had sore legs from all the stairs. However, the ups and downs of the stairs were worth it and the rooms were totally fantastic. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending your hotel to my friends and family. THANK YOU! Two night (Saturday and Sunday) stay in the Presidential Suite durring March. Stayed on my birthday with my girlfriend. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything went perfect. The concierage (all three we met) downstairs was more than helpfull with anything we needed, including directions, procuring toothpaste, sending out post-card, and providing us information. The Presidential Suite was very clean and romantic. The private steam room was definantly a romantic plus. The bathroom is VERY nice with his and her sinks. Privacy is not an issue as the toilete room is seperate from the shower room. The room overlooks the main square of Prague and the clock tower. I am a very picky traveler, and I highly recomend the Presidential Suite and this hotel. Although my review may appear a little bias as I was with my girlfriend who I love, so honestly I would have been happy no matter what! But truth be told, the hotel staff definantly did help to faciliate my happiness!

	Very enjoyable stay at Grand Hotel Praha. Nice deco and setting within and it has fantastic view of the old town square and the Astronomical Clock! It is also well sited so most other attractions are within walking distance. Staff are friendly and very helpful.
