comments We were generally very impressed. We had the good fortune to be allocated a splendid room with a view over the river and the Charles Bridge. Everything was very clean and crisp. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were helpful. We also felt the hotel was good value for money albeit we were staying well out of season.

comments This is the perfect hotel! It's on the quiet side of the river and yet it's easily accessible by foot to almost everything you want to see, and if you can't get there by foot, metro and trams are a short walk. The room was spacious, warm (I was there in January!), quiet, comfortable, tastefully decorated. The breakfast of hot foods, yogurts, a variety of breads, coffee and juice and pastries was so filling I didn't need lunch. (My only complaint is that I had to walk through the cold patio to get to the breakfast room.) I was travelling alone and the staff were very helpful and professional. I'd recommend this place to anyone who wants a bit more peace than the Old Town offers and who enjoys a more old-fashioned, refined atmosphere rather than the flash of a big name hotel. It doesn't have an elevator, so be aware of that. However, the staff were very willing to carry bags up and down the stairs. Ask for a room with a view of the river. You won't be disappointed.

comments Very nice place to stay in Praha. Very quiet and clean. The location is perfect, just under the St Charles Bridge and near the old city and the center. The bedroom was large with a view on the Bridge and the river. Ask for the room 11 !!! The breakfast included is very generous (fruits, a lot of breads, pastries,bacon and eggs, delicious yogourts, several kinds of cereal...). I would choose again this hotel if I returned to Prague.

comments I love the Hotel at the Charles Bridge. We always stay there when me and my daughter visit Prague at Christmas time. A little tip, explore the areas behind the hotel, less touristy and full of wonderful restaurants.

comments A super super hotel! A quaint & unassuming, inn-like property in the most spectacular location to capitalise on the picturesque views of the Old Town. Fabulous loft room with timber beams and superb views across the river. Great breakfasts & extraordinarily helpful staff! A gem of a place, a real surprise, a great find!

comments We stayed on the Archibald Charles Bridge for 5 nights during December 25th-30th. We found a charming and beautiful Hotel with a great location. just 2 min' from the Bridge and very close to the city attractions. We had a very nice room facing the river which made our stay even nicer. Breakfast that was served at the Hotel restaurant was excellent and the Hotel staff were very nice, polite and efficient. I would come back to this Hotel if staying in future and definitely recommend this Hotel to any other. Please use this reference of mine for any of your publications. Ronit K.

comments We were extremely satisfied with our room and the general high level of customer service at "The Charles Bridge". The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was decorated to a very high standard while the breakfast was delicious. Our room had a view onto the river and the Charles Bridge - our whole stay was perfect!

comments A lovely hotel with well-appointed rooms, very helpful reception staff, good restaurant with a wide selection for breakfast. Excellent value. The best part for us was the location; step off the always busy Charles Bridge into a quiet tree-lined court with several good restaurants within five minutes' walk.

comments We stayed at the Archibald for 4 nights in October. It is a very nice hotel. Clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The included breakfast buffet was fantastic. A large assortment of breakfast foods to choose from. The location of this hotel can not be beat. It is literally about 50 yards from the Charles Bridge. Which is not only convenient for visiting the major sights but also makes it very difficult to get lost. One can always find the Charles Bridge! My stay in Prague was exceptionally enhanced by this prime location. I would definitely stay here again if I am ever lucky enough to get back to Prague ... probably the most beautiful city I have ever seen.

comments The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect! The room (we stayed in a de luxe room) was very spacious with beautiful furniture and a small yet nice bathroom. The bed was a little bit hard but comfortable enough for two nights. The breakfast was good but not excellent.

comments Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel! Wir hatten ein grosses Zimmer im dritten Stock, sehr geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Lage ist absolut zentral und dennoch sehr ruhig, bei lauen Abenden kann man auch sehr malerisch am Ufer der Moldau sitzen. Das Personal ist nett und zuvorkommend, das Frühstücksbuffet mehr als reichlich und man kann im Keller oder im Garten auch sonst sehr gut essen. Die Preise waren angemessen.

comments We had a very nice stay at the Archibald! The hotel was very nice, clean and accommodating , but what made our stay so memorable was Eduard, at the front desk. He was all purpose! Helped us with reservations, freely shared opinions on other recommendations friends had given us, delivered our luggage back to our room after we had taken a two day side trip, what a super fellow! He has real pride in his city and in the hotel too!!
