comments We had a lovely weekend. There was a large function being held on the Saturday night but we were not at all disturbed by any noise or activity. I had specifically asked for a quiet room when booking and it was. The food was excellent and we were very happy with our short break. One minor point was that it was difficult to see the name of the hotel in the dark on arrival. We could see the word 'hotel' but not the 'Trim Castle' bit and we were a bit puzzled by entering through a public car park but as I said, just a minor point!

comments The hotel was a delight to stay in; it was spacious the decor was of a high standard and the atmosphere was calm. Breakfast was of a very high standard as was the service received from all members of staff.
