The staff at the McWilliam's hotel were extremly friendly, helpful and Pleasent no request was any hassle to them. The meal we had in the resturand was excellent as so was the breakfast. The lesiure facilities were also very good and I throughly enjoyed my stay there. The next time we go we will bring the children as it also a very chold friendly hotel.	report this review as inappropriate

Had great mini break with 4 children and 2 grandparents. Staff were very helpful and professional. Leisure centre was great and kids loved the kids club. Altogether a great break and we will be back.	report this review as inappropriate

Our room was above a kitchen vent which was quite noisy and smelly when window open. we could also hear night entertainment in the room. Food and staff were great. Pool was very nice. Overall enjoyed our stay.	report this review as inappropriate

Room not serviced on the saturday. We had to ask for fresh towels. Had to queue for ages for the hot breakfast in the mornings. Leisure centre wonderful. Staff very friendly. Room very spacious. Good food. Excellent location for touring Mayo & Galway.	report this review as inappropriate

The waitress in the dining room never came back to check how the meal was and never asked at the end of the meal if we enjoyed it or not. The receptionist never asked about our stay either the staff were friendly, very clean premises, food good, very comfortable hotel rooms are lovely.	report this review as inappropriate

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel. The rooms were excellent, the breakfast (which was included in the room rate) was brilliant and the staff very courteous. And there is the added bonus of free Wifi access but the coverage and strength varies depending on the room you are in. The pool, sauna and gym were an incentive to keep fit. Ample car parking was at no extra charge. Room could do with AC on a hot summer day (which is a rarity in Ireland though). There are a number of sites and museums for tourists and those interested in the great outdoors but most are 25 minutes drive or more away which was not so bad because of my Satnav. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to friends and would certainly stay there again!	report this review as inappropriate

This is advertised as a 4* hotel but I would say it is only 3*. The toilets in the bar area were not cleaned during the 4 days we stayed. There was no bottled water in the bedroom, which I have had in every other 3 and 4* hotel I have stayed in. I think the problems stem from lack of proper management and supervision of staff. It was a pleasant enought hotel and the staff were very friendly but not 4* quality.	report this review as inappropriate

The Hotel was very nice. The rooms were lovely and the foyer, restaurant, bar and leisure centre were very nice. The staff were very efficient but there weren't enough of them especially in the bar. This is a new hotel which has everything that a hotel should have. The rooms are tastly decorated with all of the usual equipment plus wide screen TV, DVDplayer, electronic safe and ironing facitilies. Overall the standard of the hotel was excellent. Service in the main restaurant was extremely professional and the food was of exceptional quality. We had only two small complaints - we had booked two beauty treatments via the hotel, confiming the bbookings over the phone. Unfortunatley our bookings were never passed onto the beauticians. When we pointed this out to the reception desk staff, a male member of staff was very curt to us and pointed out that the mistake was ours. He had no people skills whatsoever. We were a group of 6 ladies away for 1 night with spa treatments.Our stay was fabulous, staff were lovely & the evening meal alone will bring us back the food was delicous.Spa needs more thought it lacks space & a relaxation room, treatments were quite good. overall very satisfied with our choice of hotel.Entertainment good in the bar.	report this review as inappropriate

Overall a very good hotel - beautiful rooms. There were a few football teams staying there during our trip - children were allowed run in corridors unsupervised and were very loud. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.	report this review as inappropriate

Hotel had only just opened the weekend of my stay and there were numerous teething problems. Waiting too long for service, staff bringing wrong order, poor english, long queues for cooked breakfast, pool area very slippy, changing room floor a big puddle of water.
