	La ubicación es perfecta, está en el paseo marítimo y se puede ir andando a todas partes, sin coger el coche. Tiene vistas al mar desde todos los apartamentos y una terraza muy grande. Los apartamentos recién reformados, muy bonitos. El trato del personal muy bueno.

	This was my sixth visit to Aparthotel Puerto Azul. The staff is always friendly and very helpful and the frontline beach accommodation is perfect for sea views and for strolls on the the promenade with close proximity to the old town of Marbella. The rooms have recently been refurbished and they now have a lighter, more modern feel. Lovely stay!

Muy bien ubicado, buen servicio, buena relación calidad-precio (en vacaciones de Semana Santa), buen funcionamiento del servicio de limpieza de habitaciones...Pegas: la opción de aparcamiento que figura en la página web es "engañosa" puesto que ni hay parking ni tampoco tienen plazas de aparcamiento concertadas en otros edificios u hoteles cercanos. Por honestidad con los posibles clientes ese comentario debería desaparecer de la página web.

La relación calidad-precio es excepcional. Situación fantástica, primera linea de playa, a 5 minutos andando del centro histórico, rodeado de restaurantes y bares, así como supermercados, sin dejar de ser una zona tranquila, aparcamos sin problemas todos los días a menos de 100 metros. Respecto a los apartamentos quízás el menaje es algo escaso, la limpieza muy por encima; el trato del personal muy agradable y atento.

this is the second time we have stayed at the hotel for a short break. the location, for public transport, the beach, shops etc is extremely good. the desk and room servic e were excellent. next year we intend to book for a much longer period. with that in mind we would like to see an improvement with the self catering facility, i.e. improved cooking utensils etc. a welcome pack of basic eesentials would be appreciated. we would not hesitate to use the hotel again. best regards russell jones

Ya conocíamos el AH del año pasado y aunque tanto la ubicación como la atencióan del personal e excelente, este año nos sorprendió la conservación del alojamiento, sobre todo la cocina totalmente "restaurada" con baldosines diferentes de los originales, con taras y defectos, en paredes y suelos, el frigorifico sin barra sujeta-botellas lo que disminuia apreciablemente su capacidad; el timbre estaba medio colgando y el portarrollos del cuarto de aseo igual. NAda que ver con el alojamiento del año pasado. Con todo y siendo facilmente subsanables todos los defectos relacionados, el AP es tá francamente bien : Ubicación y Personal EXCELENTES

The room was clean and the location was great as well. The only complaint I have, and I believe many others have said this same thing, is the cleaning staff need to be told to not slide the furniture around on the tile floors in the mornings. It is extremely loud to the floors below and very loud and annoying when trying to sleep. Imagine metal legs of furniture scraping around on tile floors at 8am when you are trying to relax.

Idéalement placé, chambre confortable, lumineuse et agréable. Service très très moyen, peu arrangeant et un tantinet arrogant, Nous avions une dizaine de chambre pour 3 à 4 jours, pour un mariage. Pas de service de chambre le dimanche, pas de recharge de savon et autres ds les salles de bains durant tout le séjours (vraiment radin), le dernier jour nous avons demandé une prolongation du check out de 12 à 13 > refus catégorique, le cocktail de bienvenu promis aux mariés pour leurs invités a été servis après maintes demandes et on a jamais vu le champagne promis, un couple d'amis qui avait réservé une chambre en suite au vu de l'indisponibilité des chambres simple s'est retrouvé dans un chambre simple au prix de la double et a dû âprement négocier pour un remboursement! Un réel effort à faire sur la qualité du service, hélas au vu de la situation de l'hôtel, ce n'est visiblement pas leur priorité.... Dommage car l'endroit est vraiment sympa!

We had a great two day stay in Marbella and were impressed with the property. Super scores for cleanliness and maintenance of the apartments, great service at reception by Koen and the most important factor, fabulous location within meters from the beach and 10 min from downtown Marbella. As a hotelier I would push up revenues with a "upon request package" that could include dishwashing liquid, few bottles of water, selection of soft drinks, coffee, milk, biscuits and perhaps a six pack of beers. Would be great to be able to pay a premium of 12/15 euros and receive some basics that avoid you going to the supermarket specially for short stays below 7 nights. All in all a wonderful time and will definetly be back next year!!!

The hotel/apartment is located next to the beach, the staff is friendly and helpfull. It is a 20 minutes walk to the centre of Marbella. To Puerto Banus is about 20 minutes bus ride, 10 minutes taxi ride. There was enough space in the apartment, the kitchen was small, but big enough to be able to cook your own meals if you want. The beach next to the hotel isn't very wide but clean. I would go there an other time.

	La situación es lo mejor que tiene.La cocina es un muestrario de azulejos y poco agradable. Nos toco una habitacion de frente a otro edificio y nuestra terraza no tenia intimidad. Ademas se oian todos los bajantes de los vecinos. Mal insonorizado. La tele no habia manera de verla bien. Muy antiquado como hotel. Necesita ponerse al dia.

Hemos estado 10 días en junio en el Aparthotel Puerto Azul y es francamente recomendable. La ubicación es perfecta (primera línea de playa), la limpieza de la habitación diaria, con cambio de sábanas cada 3 días. Disponen de cunas para bebés. La atención del servicio también fantástica. Tanto el estudio como el apartamento que reservamos, tenían amplias terrazas con vistas al mar. Como para repetir.

	This was our first stay at Aparthotel Puerto Azul and we were extremely satisfied. The hotel had a lovely clean reception area and our room was perfect for a small group stay. The location was perfect - just 5 mins walk to the beach and a short stroll to the old town. We would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here ourselves again.

	We are regulair guests of this nice hotel. Last time: 6-13 may 2011, we had a problem with the hairdryer. Koen and Andrés, the most friendly hotelmanagers we know, gave us an other appartement, nicer and overseeing the sea and beach. We are always very happy to stay in this nice and clean hotel

This is a budget hotel so you shouldn't expect any frills, but for the money it represents excellent value for money. The staff are exccellent, and for me and my two teenagers, the sea view room with kithcen, was perfect. There were a couple of issues with things not working with the room, bur once notified the reception got these fixed within a couple of hours. Excellent service, perfect location, basic but great,

	I have stayed at Puerto Azul many times and always get good service from all of the staff. What I can also say is that the cleanliness of the whole hotel is always maintained. If you want to hire mountain bikes during your stay - just speak to Reception who provide a very good service for you direct to the hotel.

	El sitio está muy bien; lógicamente es lo mejor del hotel. La caldera pierde agua, creo. La cuestión es que el suelo de la cocina estaba empapado. Calefacción buena, limpieza también. Empleados amables. Cama cómoda. Quizás la insonorización sea defectuosa porque se oye demasiado a los vecinos.

	This hotel is very conveniently situated in Marbella. The staff were friendly and helpful and the aprtment was a good size and spotlessly clean. We would recommend Puerto Azul to our friends and stay there again if we return to Marbella.

The Hotel was very good. We had a nice room with ocean view and a huge balcony with 2 beds to lay in the sun. Very good service as well. We were explained everything of the area even though we were staying 1 night. We got a map and were showed good eating spots, busstops etc. The guy at the recepetion spoke even Dutch. And we were able to check out later when we asked for it. Good value for money.

	Muy buenas vistas, limpio, las instalaciones y la decoración es de los años 60, creo que la serie cuentamé se rueda aquí, los baños si son nuevos. No hay servicio de desayuno hasta las 10:00

Aparthotel amplio, tranquilo, muy bien situado, con un notable servicio de restauracion, una muy buena atencion de todo su personal y una alta variedad de opciones para tiempo libre ( Visitas, excursiones..... etc. ), no las puedo calificar ya que nuestra estancia suele ser basicamente de playa. Es un establecimiento muy recomendable, la relacion calidad-precio es de las mas altas en la zona, nosotros hemos repetido 2 temporadas seguidas... y posiblemente lo haremos el proximo verano

	Aparthotel Puerto Azul was perfect for us because of its location. Literally on the seafront! We could hear the waves at night. There was the advantage of the beach to the front and the lovely streets and old town to the back. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, including the domestic staff. Our balcony was massive. I will definitely be booking Puerto Azul again.

As I have already told the staff of the hotel when I called today, I think it is NOT NORMAL AT ALL, that when you ask at the reception how you should go to the airport they tell you by bus, but without telling you that you should book the bus ticket on the internet. This happened to us, we arrived at the bus station and they told us the bus was full, so we had to take a cab to the airport of Malaga, which costed us 62 EUROS!!! I sincerely believe the hotel should pay for their mistake, not the customer !

	Apartments had a very central location and fantastic views. The kitchenettes were poorly equipped (we didn't even have a kettle) and badly in need of decoration/modernising. The cleaning could have been better (it was a bit hit and miss) but plenty of space for 2 people (3 would have been a squash - especially storage wise!)

	En cuanto a servicio, mejorar sustancialmente la limpieza. Respecto al establecimiento, aumentar mobiliario y equipamiento (sillas en dormitorio, lámparas en estar, cojines en sofá). Mejorar acabados de albañilería (desconches de pintura, rodapies...) y en cuanto sea posible cambiar los suelos de terrazo.

Muito bom o Hotel, bem localizado, nabeira de uma praia belissima, perto do centro historico e de um centro comercial. Pode/se fazer tudo a pe. A infra/estrutura da praia e muito boa. O apartamento e excelente, com cozinha completa, uma boa sala e o quarto com suite. A unica coisa que atrapalha e o fato de nao ter parking. Somos obrigados a parar na rua. Nao e perigoso, mas e dificil encontrar vagas. Com um pouco de paciencia se resolve. Uma vez parado, o carro, sugiro fazer tudo a pe.

Nuestra experiencia ha sido muy satisfactoria al reunir este aparthotel muchas de las características que buscábamos al reservar nuestra estancia en esta área de la Costa del Sol para descansar en familia unos días. Su ubicación es perfecta dada su proximidad a la playa; está situado en el "cogollo" del paseo marítimo en el que existe una gran oferta de restauración, etc. Nos ha encantado también el servicio que hemos recibido de las personas que estaban en la recepción y de quienes se encargaban de la limpieza de las habitaciones, siempre atentas a ayudar y hacer de nuestra estancia un buen motivo para volver a Puerto Azul tan pronto nos sea posible.

We stayed at the Puerto Azul in March and it was excellent. We had a very large beautiful seafront apartment complete with sunbeds all the rooms were very spacious, clean, and nicely decorated,We even extended our holiday to stay an extra night. All the staff were very helpful, cleaners in every day with fresh towels etc. The reception staff were exeptionally helpful and a special thankyou to Koen on reception for helping us to arrange the extra night.

	Staff are very friendly. Great location. Rooms and bathrooms are in desperate need of modernisation. Beds are not comfortable and squeaking. No double beds - twins only (very disappointing as they keep moving). Definitely not for couples who are looking dor a romantic break!
