The breakfast was very expensive -- 17 Euros -- not included in room see. The room was very nice -- clean and spacious. They do not offer any small tioletries which could help a traveler. The staff was rather cold and abrupt and did not speak very clear English. |

The only problematic part is filling up the van at the airport and then unloading everyone and registering at the hotel. This can take some time |

It's just a transient airport hotel. It had everything you needed but very impersonal. Be aware that the free shuttlebus to the airport runs only about every half hour so if you have to be at the airport take that into consideration. |

Beds were very comfortable, great bathrooms and the shuttle service was very efficient. It is even in an area where there are some cafes and restaurants for those who did not wish to stay in the hotel and eat. |

My first impression of the hotel was quite positive. There was a shuttle bus to pick me up from the airport and the staff was relatively friendly and helpfull. However after a while I couldn't help but notice that the hotel needs a significant renovation. I got stuck in the lift for a short time, and my room had a scent of ashtrays. In additon there are some minor things you have to have in mind if you book a room there. There was no Internet in my room regardless what they advertized on the front desk, and the television was paid. All in all there were 5 free channels, only one in English and it was semi-scrambled CNN. I had the chance to compare my experience with some friends that were staying in hotel Coloso in the very centre of Madrid and honestly I was sorry to book at Tryp Diana.

El Hotel no merece sus 4 estrellas. Aunque está en período de reformas, de momento está todo un poco estropeado. Eso sí, en recepción muy amables. |

service was good, the only thing i am not pleased with is that they kept invoice signed by me even after i paid cash, they told me they would destroy it but refused to give it back, that is unacceptable |
