comments Very good location, 5 min walking to everything. Nice clean rooms and bathroom. The staff is very helpful. And they have WIFI if you ask password from reception, it works very well! 1 Russian-speaking guy at the reception is an advantage for russian travellers.

comments Hotel super recomendado, muito bem localizado, muito próximo a maioria dos pontos turísticos de Madri. Fica bem próximo à estação de Metro Sol. Atendimento ótimo pelos recepcionistas do hotel, muito coriais. Quarto amplo, com tv e banheiro com banheira, tudo muito limpo e preço ótimo. Se voltar, com certeza ficarei lá novamente.

comments Estuvimos alojadas en el Hotel Santander Madrid en septiembre y no ha podido ser mejor. El hotel está muy bien ubicado, en pleno centro de Madrid. El edificio es antiguo pero en excelente estado. Es encantador. Tuvimos una habitación doble. Era magnífica. Nos encantó. Absolutamente preciosa. La habitación muy limpia y ordenada. El personal nos trató muy bien y el precio de la habitación muy bueno. En resumen: se lo recomiendo a todo el mundo. Un 10!!

comments The location was ideal for visiting the city. We discovered a number of restaurants and bars around us, but were not bothered by any noise at night, dispite having the window open. The room was very generous and we would recommend the hotel highly.

comments Hotel Santander has a certain charm, the rooms are quite old but it's perfectly clean and comfortable, and the staff are very friendly. Really good value for money when you take into account its location. Certainly wouldn't be able to find anywhere like this in London for the money. Would happily stay there again, and a great street to be on too. Check out the Vino bar a couple of doors along!

comments Rooms were very noisy. Not from outside noise but from other residents. There was a no food policy, which is ridiculous and was not advertised when I made the reservation. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very central location.

comments The room was very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. The air conditioner was noisy the first night but cooperated the second. The location was great, near the metro and walking distance to the sites around Puerta del Sol. I would recommend and stay again.

comments Great location. Hotel is clean. Staff was very friendly. Only negative was that the walls where a little thin and since I'm a light sleeper, the person in the next room snoring one night was troublesome. But the rest on the nights were really quiet. I'd definately stay there again. It's a 15 min walk to train station. From airport, take 24 hour express bus to Plaza de Cibeles (the stop before the train station) and walk to hotel. Cost is only 2 euros.

comments Su ubicación es buenísima, para poder desplazarse por el centro de Madrid. La limpieza muy bien, el mobiliario de nuestra habitación era nuevo, el aseo muy limpio pero antiguo. El personal muy atentos y cordiales. La única pega es que si bien hacía mucho frio en Madrid, pero la calefacción a nuestro gusto era excesiva.

comments Habitación y baño muy amplios y limpios. Disponía de un gran armario, un perchero, una cómoda, un sillón de cuero, una televisión y una cama de matrimonio muy cómoda. La decoración algo desfasada con techos muy altos, grandes radiadores antiguos, con buena calefacción y papel pintado en las paredes. Fue una estancia realmente confortable en un hotel céntrico situado en una zona muy animada, muy cerca de la Plaza del Sol y junto a la zona de marcha, pero en una calle tranquila y sin escuchar ruidos de la calle por la noche.

Respecto a la tarifa aplicada durante su estancia simplemente mencionar que era muy competitiva y quizá imposible de igualar por otro alojamiento de las mismas caracteristicas que el nuestro. comments El hotel está muy limpio. Las habitaciones son amplias y está muy céntrico, con parada de metro a 2 minutos andando. El único pero es el ruido de las habitaciones, pero si vuelvo a Madrid volveré sin pensármelo.

comments This is a lovely old-fashioned hotel in a brilliant location. Close to all the attractions and near the Huertas - a pedestrianised street which is full of fab bars, cafes and restaurants and leads to the Prado. The room (at the back) was quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay there again.

comments El hotel nos ha gustado mucho, decoración antigua muy cuidada, atención, las habitaciones muy bien con una gran terraza, todo muy limpio pero sobre todo, la ubicacion del hotel, está en el centro y andando se llega muy bien a todo. Total, que hemos salido muy contentos con la estancia allí y si volviéramos no dudaríamos en reservar la estancia en el mismo hotel. La pequeña desventeja que veo es que no sirven desayunos pero por el resto todo excepcional

comments Room was clean and spacious. Quiet at night. Close to plazas and restaurants, metro. We arrived too early to check in, so they watched our bags while we went out. They let us check in an hour early when the room was ready. Very helpful, friendly.
