It took 55 minutes from calling for the airport shuttle for it to arrive. the hotel is no more than 5 minutes drive from the airport. I called three times and it was too close to get a taxi there. The hotel itself is ok if too hot and with little opportunity for temperature control in the room.	report this review as inappropriate

Excellent accommodations and restaurant, especially for the price. One important problem- Unable to reach hotel by phone from airport (kept on hold) and therefore was unable to use free shuttle service. This required a taxi for approximately 20 Euros!!!	report this review as inappropriate

Hotel is perfect for those who need only one or 2 nights in the city. 2 minutes from the airport. Had some problems to get there because I didn't know I had to call them and ask for minibus to pick me up. Besides that..free Internet, very nice clean rooms, air conditioning and minibar. I arrived very late (thanks Easy Jet!). Staff were pleasant and courteous, room clean and comfortable, shuttle bus back to airport all very efficient. Not one to linger for leisure use, but a safe-feeling efficient and courteous hotel. If, however, you arrive after shuttle bus hours as I did, you will end up with a 17 euros taxi bill (it's not really very near the airport by road)	report this review as inappropriate

Nice hotel, but isn`t close to underground. So, if you want to reach underground, better way is to take a bus #114, which goes to bus station close to city centre. Hotel was nice.	report this review as inappropriate

Not easily accesible from the airport - a 20 euro taxi ride, as unable to find any trace of shuttle service. Hotel simple but adequate; food OK and inexpensive. Shuttle back to the airport helpful.	report this review as inappropriate

No frills but very convenient when need to catch a flight. Hotel bus will pick you up and drop you off at airport. Staff VERY friendly and helpful.	report this review as inappropriate

Breakfast was NOT available until 0800 - no good for an airport hotel. Shuttle service not available unless pre-booked - no mention of this at check-in. The shuttle bus was way too small and only ran every 30 minutes.	report this review as inappropriate

We were never able to get the shuttle to come to the airport. So, we ended up having to take some sort of other bus, and then walk a ways. Then, since the plane left at 6am, we had to take a taxi at 4am, (shuttle only runs from 6am to 1am). The taxi driver turned a 45 second trip into 5 minutes. So, transportation between hotel and airport was not very good, but the rest was just fine.	report this review as inappropriate

Chose hotel because only 5 minutes cycle to Barajas Terminal 1 for our 6am flight. Difficult to find hotel by bike. Road entry and exit arrangements not well signed. Reception courteous and helpful. Clean and functional. The exterior does nothing to inspire conmfidence, but once through the front door it is OK. Very helpful English speaking receptionist. Bedroom was satisfactory, clean and comfortable. But the room was situated next to the lift making it hard to sleep - not good when you have a very early flight as we did.	report this review as inappropriate

Overall a good experience. However I wish they had warned that getting to the hotel from central Madrid without our own vehicle was a problem late at night. We did not take the Metro to the nearest station because we dd not know how safe the area was and if taxis would be available. Instead we took the Metro to Barajas airport but the taxis from there refused to go because of the short distance. I called the hotel regarding their airport shuttle but they said it would only go to the airport if they had arriving or departing guests. So we wait a very long time for the next shuttle trip. If the shuttle had not been scheduled to go then we may have been stranded	report this review as inappropriate

We stayed there because we had a flight very early in the morning (like everybody in that hotel I suppose). It is next to the airport, but it is too far / too complicated to walk (according to the personnel), and the shuttle bus to the terminals only runs from 6.00 till 24.00. That meant in our case: taxi, for only 500 m, which costed ?15 !!! Also, from the center to the hotel you have to take a taxi because there is no metro station nearby.	report this review as inappropriate
