We were very happy with our stay here. We stayed on two occasions for several nights. It is a very good value for the price paid. It's only a few steps to the Legazpi metro station. And it is across the street from the new River Park.

Everything ok! Rooms on street side might be a little bit noisy till midnight.

Hotel Response:

We apologice for the noise outside. The next time, ask for rooms in the other part of the building. It haven,t got views but are more quiet. You also may ask for rooms higher than the second floor if you have a light sleep. Thanks for all.

Pros: Bus to the centre stops right outside the hotel and the metro stop is just round the corner. Rooms are clean, spacious and have good en-suites and a small fridge. Breakfast simple but tasty and good value - croissants slightly too moreish! Local restaurants good Petrol station next door - handy for basic supplies & nibbles Free wifi Cons: Rooms not brilliantly soundproofed, so get some noise from goings on in the corridor No English TV channels (that I could find) Overall, more than happy - good value and would definitely stay here again.

Pleasant stay - room was very good. As observed with many other hotels the room safe needed some written instructions. Fortunately my wife spoke spanish and was able to get the necessary help - but we subsequently decided not to use it. Again my wife was able to secure some tea making facilities by request which was a nice touch. Breakfast buffet was great and staff very accomodating. We were on 6th floor and 2 lifts were avialable for access. Also there was a mini-mart adjacent to the hotel making it convenient for food and short walk to underground metro station so access to city was easy. Although we used the metro, Buses were also readily avialable so it was a great location & plenty of resaurants in vicinity. We travelled directly from airport to hotel on metro which took about 50 min for a total of 6 Euro each. Would stay again - John C

Hotel Response:

Thanks for all. Just one answer: The safe deposit box has a intructions in the main door, but, the letters are not too bigs, that,s true. Best Regards.

Gran Legazpi has a nice set up. It's very clean and stocked. I don't usually stay at hotels, but the room was affordable and as accommodating as any other.

We enjoyed our stay. This hotel is very close to the main attractions in Madrid and very central. The room was clean, friendly staff and there was a good selection of food for breakfast.

The hotel was well located to the metro line, it was very clean, my double room was spacious as was my ensuite. Service was good and they provided a universal charger. The 6.50 euro breakfast was superb with a selection of breads, cheese, ham, cakes, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, juices and hot drink. I would definately recomend this hotel, although no street noise, other guests were noisy and room cleaning started early.

Rooms are clean and comfortable, bathrooms are well-equipped. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The staff is nice and helpful. In regards to public transport, the hotel is in an excellent location. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel while the subway station is not more than a minute's walk distance, from where all spectacles can be reached in a fast and comfortable way.

Our only complaint was that our room was far too hot - the air conditioning system was not yet switched on so we had to sleep with the window open which was noisy - and still too hot!

Excellent hotel, nice air conditioning, good location (very close to a metro station). Breakfast could have been a bit more diverse, but that's not a big deal
