comments La atención del personal un 10. Muy educados y atentos, sobre todo los camareros del desayuno. El desayuno buffet es muy bueno. La habitación muy limpia. Lo único negativo que de los tres hoteles que estuvimos en Roma,Florencia y Venecia, éste era el único que cobraba por el acceso de Internet. ¡Una pena, deja mal sabor de boca!teniendo en cuenta el precio de la habitación. Un consejo: si vais a regalar una botella de vino de bienvenida, que sea bueno y no el vinagre que servís. Yo mejoraría el vino e Internet lo daría gratis. Por los demás un 10.

comments Hotel Francisco I has perfect location, near all the most interesting places, historical buildings, museums etc., right in the centre of life in Madrid. Hotel is clean, pleasant and personnel is careful. Only one little imperfection, for breakfast I prefer something salt like ham or cheese, not only sweet. Hana

comments Overall I am very satisfied with Hotel Francisco I. There is always room for improvement, e.g. breakfast, toiletries, and especially wifi for customers, but overall I am very satisfied. The rooms are spacious and clean, the personnel are polite and helpful, the overall value for money is just as it should be. I would strongly recommend it to everyone who would like to visit Madrid.

comments E' stato un soggiorno molto piacevole: la posizione dell'albergo e' straordinaria, in pieno centro e lo staf si e' dimostrato veramente collaborativo, quando ho telefonato perche' avevo dimenticato una cosa in stanza. Anche la colazione e' buona e abbondante.

comments Tanto la habitación como el personal merecen un 4, pero faltaba un poco de información disponible en la habitación -horario desayunos, petición del mando a distancia y funcionamiento de la tele. No obstante, lo peor era el desayuno, con un café malísimo. Sólo desayuné el primer día.

comments Tanto mi marido como yo nos hemos encontrado muy a gusto en su Hotel, el trato recibido ha sido magnífico, la limpieza y calidad de habitaciones estupendas, felicitaciones a todo el personal. A partir de ahora, nuestras "escapadas" de dos o tres días a Madrid las pasaremos en este Hotel. De hecho en mayo volvemos. Muchas gracias.

comments The stay at Hotel Francisco I was very nice. The rooms were stylish and decorated in a very modern way. The staff were friendly and helpfull. The best thing with the hotel is the location. So close to everything. The rooms were also very good sound isolated from the buzy street oustide. I highly recommend it for everyone. The breakfast was of course very continental, i.e. white bread, jam, cakes etc. But that is normal in Spain I guess.

comments Encontré este hotel en internet, lo reservé sin recomendación alguna y la verdad quedé muy contenta con mi estadía aquí. El hotel es realmente muy agradable desde todo punto de vista; su personal es muy amable y se encuentra a disposición para brindar la información solicitada y sus habitaciones son muy cálidas. A pesar de que mi estancia en el hotel fue corta, me sentí "como en casa", ya que el ambiente acogedor que se respira durante el desayuno lo hace sentir a uno muy cómodo. La ubicación del hotel es muy acertada y hace que la estadía sea disfrutable hasta el último momento permitiendo transitar por el centro de la ciudad cómodamente, tanto a pie como en metro (está próximo a dos estaciones de gran importancia). Recomiendo este lugar para quienes busquen una estadía madrileña acogedora, con ese fin el hotel les irá como anillo al dedo...

comments It was my second stay in less than a year...and I enjoy it even more! The Hotel staff, the hotel conditions...the great location...makes the Hotel Francisco I one of the best places to stay while visiting Madrid! I recommend to all my friends here in Portugal! comments El hotel me parecio muy bueno incluyendo la atencion del personal, salvo algunos detalles como el de la recepcion inicial. El ambiente es excelente pero la habitacion un poco fria. Muy bueno el diseño de interiores para mi gusto demasiado vidrio le resta calidez a la habitacion. El resto todo bien, incluyendo un desayuno abundante.

comments Excellent value for money, the rooms were newly decorated and looked more like 4 star standard. The hotel could not have been better situated, right in the heart of the city with metro stations at each end of the street. The rooms were also very quiet on such a busy street and the staff were very helpful. I would recomend it to anyone travelling to Madrid, we had no complaints at all.

comments Hotel fantástico (la zona nueva), calidad precio es de 8 o más para arriba. Falla un poco el desayuno y cuando arregleis todo el hotel deberíais mantener los precios, porque os asegurariais estar todo el año llenos de clientes. Un fallo lo de dejar cinco euros por el mando, habla de hotel de menos nivel que lo que indica su situación y sus habitaciones. Nos encantó, espero que tengan encuenta mis ideas.

comments Recomiendo este hotel. Ademas de estar muy bien ubicado tiene buen precio brindando todas las necesidades. Buena limpieza, desayuno y atención. Como incomodidad, cosa que es frecuente allá, hay algo de escalones antes entre la entada y la concerjería y luego antes del ascensor que para algunos pidria ser un problema. No muchos. comments L'emplacement est EXCELENT! Coté propreté il n'y a rien à dire. Mais le bruit, aloors là !!!!! La première nuit on a presque pas dormi! Dehors les claxons, les pietons, une grosse cloche pas très loin... à l'intérieur, les chambres d'à coté étaient bruillantes aussi! En bref, les espagnols ne dorment pas, et il n'y avait pas de double vitrage. Un enfer. Le petit déjeuner est décevant ! pas grand chose à part du lait et des Corn-flex. Les petits pains et les shnack sont froids et n'ont pas de goût. ce sont ceux des grandes surfaces. Celà dit le rapport qualité/pris est plutôt correct. Les prix sur internet sont très encouragent.

comments Cal destacar que l'hotel és molt cèntric, de fàcil localització i molt ben comunicat (una parada de metro a dues passes). Les dues habitacions assignades van estar molt bé, ja sigui a nivell de netedat, decoració, comoditat... llàstima que en una d'elles com a calefacció hi hagués un radiador elèctric. Pel què fa l'esmorzar, tot i que no hi hagués embotit estava molt bé i molt complert! I finalment el personal que ens va atendre van ser molt respectuosos i educats en tot moment. Cal destacar molt positivament el fet que l'últim dia ens guardéssin les maletes abans de marxar.

comments estive neste hotel na passagem de ano em 2010 e gostei imenso. confesso que fiquei surpreendida pelas condiçoes pois não esperava encontrar condições como encontrei no hotel fancisco I. a relação preço qualidade superou de todo as expectativas e ficamos muito satisfeitas com o quarto e todo o serviço. desde o pequeno almoço, ao housekeeping ao front desk. Muito bom. já dei referencia desta unidade para amigos meus em Portugal e sempre que vá a madrid já não me vou preocupar em procurar hoteis pois já conheço um muito bom. comments Sono stato all'Hotel Francisco I di Madrid per sei notti. La camera era comoda, con un grande televisore, la doccia era particolarmente ampia e confortevole, il rumore - che mi era stato presentato come inevitabile - era praticamente nullo. La prima colazione era di ottima media. Per la prima volta ho avuto in un hotel un rasoio monouso al giorno (in aereo non si può portare).

comments I stayed with my 5 year old son for 10 days at Hotel Francisco I. From the moment we came in, the staff was very nice, helpfull and pollite. My room was very nice and everything was very clean. The breakfast was not bad, but then again it was not all that much either. I will with out a doubt stay at Hotel Francisco I again on my next visit to Madrid.

comments El Hotel Francisco I es perfecto para cualquier tipo de estancia en Madrid. Se encuentra en el pleno centro de la ciudad. Lleva parada de metro practicamente en la puerta del hotel. Esta completamente reformado, super limpio y acogedor. El personal de recepcion, de limpieza y de desayunos es absolutamente maravilloso. Alguien se encarga incluso de acompanar a los clientes y subir sus maletas a la habitacion. El desayuno es muy rico, lo ideal para empezar una intensa jornada de visita por la capital. La recepcion esta abierta las 24 horas. A la hora de reservar por Internet con tarjeta de crédito, solo sacan una cantidadminima como garantia: se paga todo el dia de la salida. En definitiva, mejor de lo que se pueda imaginar mirando la pagina web. Lo aconsejo a todos!

comments Central position, next to the opera house. If I was to point out a thing that wasn't up to the rest of the hotel...i'd say the breakfast. Being just that, it's a wonderful place! The windows of the rooms are fantastic: looking down on a street where there is people at every hour of the day and night, You hear nothing or next to nothing inside, once shut. Just don't look for a hotel with a grand entrance...it's all you'll ever need once in Madrid and it's fine.

comments Location is good; room and cleaning staff and desk staff were good; cigarette smoke was pervasive especially as one was required to sit in a small lobby to get Wireless internet signal. Breakfast room on 6th floor, no functioning elevator, and the choices were bread/cereal. No fruit? It was too cheap. I probably would not stay again. The cigarette smoke being the top complaint.

comments El hotel me ha gustado mucho, las habitaciones son muy modernas y acogedoras solo he encontrado tres defectos 1 Si haces la reserva por internet el 10% de la reserva no aparece en la factura. 2. El zumo de naranja del desayuno es artificial. 3. El enchufe que hay junto a la cama se apaga cuando apagas la luz, con lo cual no puedes enchufar el movil si quieres usarlo de despertadorr o de reloj durante la noche. Por lo demás me ha gustado mucho, lo recomiendo.

comments Me parece estupendo la relación calidad-precio ya que puedes elegir entre dos tipos de habitaciones, unas mas nuevas con el precio un poco más elevado y otras más sencillas por una módica tarifa. En cuanto la situación es privilegiada ya que se encuentra a pocos metro de la Puerta del Sol en una calle muy acondicionada y segura (Arenal) y nada caro incluso eligiendo las habitaciones más nuevas. Muy limpio, el desayuno muy variado y la atención al cliente muy agradable. Os invito a que lo conozcáis, merece la pena.

comments there was renovation on some of the rooms and there was constant disturbance in the mornings, making it impossible to sleep in. also, the rooms are totally not sound-proofed and the people walking and talking in the corridor as well as the television in other rooms was constantly going on and disturbing the peace.

comments The front desk staff was fantastic especially the older guy and the younger guy. Very helpful. I didn't realize shampoo was not included in the room so I had to go buy some, and my room faced the street and was VERY loud so I slept little. The 4th floor hasn't been remodeled, as some of the other floors have been so it is much older. Good location.

comments L'hotel era pulito e la stanza nuovissima, la colazione ottima e abbondante, posizione dell'hotel ottima in centro, facilmente raggiungibile con i mezzi pubblici, su una zona pedonale, piacevole per uscire la sera in cerca di un locale o per fare una passeggiata. Unica pecca il rumore della via sottostante, risolto con i tappi per le orecchie e l'assenza di aria condizionata, ma ci è stato reso disponibile un ventilatore, più che sufficiente.

comments El hotel está muy bien en cuanto habitación, atención y ubicación. También el desayuno ha sido bueno. Ha sido más molesto el hecho de tener que acceder a la habitación por escaleras. Incluso si usabas el ascensor, hasta él había un tramo de escaleras y después había que bajar un piso por escalera. Me consta que se solucionará este problema con las obras que se están realizando. La relación precio, calidad está bien teniendo en cuenta la ubicación del hotel.

Whilst I found one gentleman on receptions slightly unhelpful when I wanted a NICE restaurant recommended he told me just to go outside there were restaurants everywhere whilst almost laughing at me. I have worked in the industry for 15 years & don't believe this to be an inappropriate question. In saying that I found everyone else exceptionally friendly & helpful, giving maps & suggestions of things to do for the day. Overall I was very happy with my stay & would happily recommend this property to family & friends. Thanks for your hospitality. Martine

comments Abbiamo alloggiato nelle stanze meno lussuose che erano essenziali e bruttine ma fornite di tutto. L'unico vero difetto erano le pareti di carton gesso molto sottili. sono sicura che le stanze più lussuose dovevano essere molto belle. con ascensore, un ottima colazione, personale davvero gentile e cortese abbiamo alloggiato in una strada piena di negozi e movida; molto centrale e comoda. I prezzi sono ottimi.

comments Soy Salvadoreño, y cada vez que visito Madrid me hospedo en el Hotel Francisco I. Las instalaciones son excelentes, muy buena calidad, limpieza, ubicacion y el desayuno es perfecto. El unico aspecto que hay que mejorar es el trato al cliente de parte de las personas encargadas, no son amables y poco serviciales. Lo demas, incluyendo el precio es perfecto. Lo recomiendo tanto para estadias cortas como estadias prolongadas.

comments Week-end de 2 hermanas en Madrid: Excelente ubicaciòn del hotel en un palacio antiguo de la ciudad. Nuestra habitaciòn (No. 209) era completamente reformada, amplia, limpia con un bano muy moderno (ducha, secador) y balconcito hacia la calle del Arenal. Ventaja: es una calle que està muy frecuentada de dìa por todas las tiendas, pero de noche no hay mucho ruido. El hotel està tan céntrico que es muy fàcil volver varias veces al dìa para dejar bolsas de shopping o echarse una siesta entre una vuelta turistica y otra. Ademàs està justo al lado de una de las discotecas màs conocidas de Madrid: JOY. También estimamos mucho la disponibilidad de los chicos de la recepciòn que eran muy graciosos y que estaban siempre dispuestos a charlar un ratito para darnos consejos muy buenos. Volverìamos enseguida!

comments Pasamos la Semana Santa en este hotel mi familia y yo, ocupando 3 habitaciones y repetimos hace una semana. El hotel está muy bien, salvo el desayuno que es un poco escueto y el ruido de la calle. Las habitaciones están reformadas y son cómodas. comments The rooms that my parents and me have had in the hotel Francisco I had been renovated. The bathroom was partially separated with glass walls and door. In my room, the door was opaque. In my parents room, the bathroom door was fully transparent, and my father once hit it at full speed with his nose, because he didn't see the door! Could you have those doors all be made opaque, or stick some visible signs on such doors, so that noone will walk against them? Thanks!

Situated in Central Madrid, very easy access to all sightsand easy to get to from Metro, between Opera and Sol stations, perfect location for exploring city. Noisy at night due to location. Breakfast disapointing, not much choice, very basic. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend and would stay here again.

comments Hotel is very well located and with very clean and cozy bedrooms. Shower was also great for after a full day walk. Walls and windows are soundproof which was great for sleeping. Only negative was taking up the suitcase to the elevator which is one staircase up and then again to the upper floor in the room we stayed. Staff was friendly, but didn't understand 100% English nor communicate that well.

comments This hotel has a great location--where all the action is! The people who work there are extremely helpful & friendly. I must say I wasn't comfortable leaving my key in the lobby each time I left the room, but I guess that's the custom there--American custom is to keep the key until you check out of your room. That's my only negative comment; otherwise, we had a great stay!! Thanks!

comments It's a nice hotel with a good location, to appreciate Madrid by walk. The Hotel has new rooms (superior), I had a look of them nice not large but with all the comfort. We booked a triple in the old area, we were lucky because they assigned us two connecting rooms on the fourth floor with a nice view. The rooms are old but clean, by an hotel's receptionist. They serve continental breakfast included in the price very good, only the first morning we met a very kind waitress the other two were annoyed. The reception's staff was very kind anytime. comments la atencion en su hotel es correcta y amable. El hotel está perfectamente ubicado cerca del centro histórico que hace facil su recorrida , especialmente durante la noche. Esta es la segunda vez que me alojo en su hotel y siempre estoy conforme. Me gusta más la parte antigua del hotel que la nueva. Mi unica objeción es acerca de los tramos del hotel quye se deben hacer por escalera, sobre todo porque a horas tempranas no tuve quien me ayyude con las maletas (lo cual es complicado para gente mayor)

comments This hotel is still being renovated. Our finished rooms were modern, clean and well equipped. The staff were mostly very friendly and helpful but they did charge us 20 euros supplement for a friend who stayed for 2 hours on her way to the airport although no extra bed was provided. Felt a bit stingy. The only problem was the renovations which meant incessant banging during the day from 8am. Fortunately for us, most days were holidays but if you want a siesta or to lie in then make sure your room is well away from the works. Very central position so obviously noisy but very handy for sight seeing, shopping, bars and restaurants.

comments Hôtel très bien situé (dans le centre, boutiques...). Il est possible de tout faire à pied. C'est très agréable ! Le personnel est adorable et j'ai aimé le petit-déjeuner (variété et self-service). Cependant, le fait qu'il soit situé dans le centre représente des inconvénients : le bruit la nuit et tôt le matin. Mais bon, je recommande tout de même fortement cet hôtel qui n'est pas cher du tout.

comments Hotel is under renovation, and it looks like it is going to be extremely nice. We stayed in one of the renovated rooms really modern and spacious. The A/C wasn't working but all in all it wasn't a problem even with the record high temperatures. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I definately reccomend this hotel the price was excellent and we could ask for a better location!

comments Be sure to have an airconditioned room. The area is quite noisy late at night so you need to be able to shut your windows. The breakfast was a lillte disappointing since there was no fruit, meat or cheese offered. The location is superb. The recently renovated rooms are lovely providing you get one with air conditioning.

Les chambres sont entièrement rénovées.Actuellement la climatisation ne fonctionne pas car les travaux ne sont pas terminés.Il faut absolument la climatisation, car la rue est très bruyante. On ne peut pas dormir la fenêtre ouverte. L'isolement phonique des fenêtres est bon. Le petit déjeuner est simple.Je conseille cet Hotel. Ne pas visiter Madrid l'été, il fait vraiment très chaud.

comments El principal problema son las escaleras, para llegar a la recepción ya hay que subir unas cuantas, luego subes un piso más y ahí está el ascensor. Para desayunar se sube hasta donde termina el ascensor y hay que subir todavía un piso más andando. Por otra parte, el personal es muy amable y te sube la maleta cuando llegas. La situación también es inmejorable. El desayuno poco variado, se echa de menos algo "salado".

comments De las habitaciones comentar que no todas estan reformadas, y que si podeis elegir, pedid una de las nuevas. Aunque si buscais un alojamiento buen ubicado, es el sitio perfecto. Está al lado de la puerta del Sol, y andando se puede hacer todo el centro. Hay varias paradas de metro a un paso por si te quieres desplazar a otra zona de la ciudad. Coincido con el tema del desayuno: muy dulce (bolleria). No estaria mal algun tipo de embutido.

comments I stayed in a nicely remodeled top-floor room, facing Arsenal promenade, with wonderful old-fashioned timber shutters and matching beams overhead. Bathroom has been remodeled too, with a terrific shower and plexiglass sink. One odd thing: the bathroom remodeling involves floor-to- ceiling clear glass (or plexiglass), so a man and a woman would be confronted with the problem of one being able to see directly into the bathroom while the other is using the toilet. What do you do--step out into the hall? Anyway, a great deal for about $100 a night, I will stay there again. There is noise from the street, but it's a cheerful noise of the crowds on the promenade (there is no car traffic). The men at the front desk were very friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast was good.

comments I was extremely pleased with the modern, high quality room and amenities it offered. It was the nicest room of my 3-country trip. The bathroon was huge and state of the art. The hotel was very central and in a busy area, however, the double-paned glass helped to keep the noise down. The rest of the hotel reflects an old world charm as it has not been renovated. The only disappointed was the breakfast as it was limited and not of the best quality. Overall, I would recommend Hotel Francisco and I would stay there again. This property was 3+ stars.

Ma stanno ristrutturando l'hotel per cui la mattina si sentiva rumore. Il piano dove eravamo noi era attraversato da crepe piuttosto evidenti. I piani superiori erano probabilmente già ristrutturati e le camere apparivano moderne e confortevoli. La tripla che avevamo (eravamo in cinque) era troppo piccola per tre persone ma aveva la vista sulla via principale. Tutto il personale è molto gentile.

Only complaint - breakfast. Coffee weak, orange squash served in place of orange juice, small selection compared to most Spanish hotels. Note - they are currently (April 2008) extending the 6th floor, so if you arrive early in the morning and need to sleep during the day you will experience builders' noise.

comments As other reviews have stated this hotel is situated in an absolutely wonderfully central position in Madrid. Yes, the pedestrian precinct where the hotel stands, is a busy one and at night, like any capital city, there is noise. The hotel itself is beautifully furnished. We had a newly refurbished twin room on the 5th floor with a glass ensuite which was a novelty! The lounge is very attractive likewise the dining room where we enjoyed a perfectly adequate continental bareakfast. All the staff were extremely helpful and we would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Madrid. We only hope we are lucky enough to find a similar hotel in as good a location when we try to book a few days in Instanbul in the summer and Rome in the autumn.

comments Hotel Francisco 1 is superbly placed in the historic quarter, close to the Plaza Major and two Metro stations. The rooms are basic but spotless. The continental breakfast was plentiful and of good quality and available most of the morning. The hotel can be a little noisy at night, both from the adjacent pedestrianised street area and from other guests slamming doors, but this is no more than we have experienced elsewhere in the world in a city centre location. A very reasonably priced shuttle service is bookable through the hotel to the airport. We would recommend this as a good tourist class hotel.

comments One of our room that we book doesnt have remote for its aircond. So we have to switch on manually and can't adjust the tempereture and thats doesnt help much on hot summer.

comments the hotel is perfectly situated. due to the location within a pedestrian zone the noise from outside is restricted to peolple passing by. however still enough loud to make ear plugs undispensable (we had a room on the first floor). otherwise it was clean and apart from the night clerk people in the hotel were very friendly. the breakfast was very basic.

comments What a find! Hotel Francisco 1 was a revelation - step inside and it is a haven off the main shopping street. The refurbished 5th floor where we stayed is fantastic - like stepping into a different world! Try it for yourselves - also inexpensive.

comments we checked in at night and got a little small room right next to the big washing machine, who maked a lot of noise in the morning. The next day we changed room, and it was great. A cornerroom with a lot of light. The breakfast buffet is okay, nothing fancy. The personale were very nice. An okay hotel, if you dont expect too much.

comments We happened to be lucky and were given a room in a new section of the hotel on the fifth floor that had just been completed. Unfortunately the elevator does not go to the fifth floor so we had to take our bags up one flight of stairs. It was noisy since our room faced the street and it was a holiday weekend with many people partying until the wee hours of the morning. All in all we enjoyed our stay, liked the hotel very much and would stay there again. The hotel is well located which was a big plus.

comments Rooms great, clean, comfortable. breakfast needed fruit and yoghurt as well so the carbohydrates.What was available was good. Friendly, helpful staff They booked tickets for us. Show tickets great / football tickets overpriced. Would go there again.

comments La ubicación del Hotel es perfecta, a 2 minutos de Sol; en un paseo estás en el centro. Pero la gran desventaja del hotel: por la noche muchísimo ruido en la calle (hay varios pub)... Y cuando por fin termina el ruido exterior, comienza el escándalo en el pasillo.... El servicio de limpieza es extremadamente escandaloso.

comments The room was not ready until 12.30. The room did not have a private bath room. They gave me one after I demanded it. Unlike the contract specs, there was no Internet available. The front desk staff was mostly "dry" and at times it was unfrienly. On the possitive side: the breaakfast was very good and the hotel is in a very good location.

comments This hotel is very well located, in Calle Arenal, close to the Metro station, the Opera house, Plaza del Sol and Plaza de Oriente. It is very noisy because Arenal street is in the process of becoming a pedestrian´s space ( no motor vehicles will be allowed in a near future). Location compensates for its modesty as far as decoration and service. Breakfast is not good but, then again, it is difficult to get any better considering the price. It is a clean hotel.

comments Estimados: La estadía en el Hotel Francisco I, resultó muy buena en términos generales. Creo que al Hotel le falta una rampa para facilitar el manejo de las valijas (como se sabe ya todo el equipaje lo manipulan los pasajeros y subir tantos escalones suele ser incómodo y no se resuelve solo con cortesías) También faltó en la habitación el control remoto del televisor, que es indispensable a esta altura de la tecnología moderna y de las necesidades de un turista que naturalmente solo ve TV desde la cama y cuando se acuesta (normalmente el día lo ha usado para otras actividades). Sin ánimo de perjudicar a nadie le damos 4 (cuatro) puntos. Por otra parte el sistema de reservas resultó muy eficiente y satisfactorio. Gracias por su atención JLFV

comments La ubicación inmejorable, el servicio y atención del personal del hotel delicioso, el desayuno-autoservicio como en muchos otros hoteles bien, y la limpieza muy bien, el precio por supuesto excelente, lo único ha reseñar como negativo la antigüedad del edificio y las habitaciones que piden a voz alta una inmediata reforma aunque la planta 5ª ya la ha sufrido. No tiene aire acondicionado pero si ventiladores. Yo lo he recomendado a mis conocidos, sobre todo por la ubicación y el precio. SALUDOS.

comments I was extremely disatisfied with the quality of the hotel...many hostels nearby are much nicer. Our room was 90 degrees also, making it difficult to sleep. I would not stay again. The free breakfast was adequate, but not enough to make it worth our money.
