comments It was an extremely nice and clean hotel. The staff were very aimable. Although it said coffee and tea available as room service 24 hours you had to collect it from the 9th floor and it wasnt available all the time (not too much of a problem). The rooms were extremely nice as was the entire hotel.

comments Arrived late but could get a drink from the mini bar and ice and diet coke brought to our room. Very friendly. However, should note that shuttle to airport is not 24 hours so we had to pay for a taxi. I thought breakfast was expensive especially if you only feel like a croissant!

comments Absolutely fantastic hotel. Just had a major refurb and the new rooms were stunning. Very spacious, clean and stylish. Beautiful bar and seating area on the top floor with balconies to give great views of Gran Via. Highly recommended all round

comments Although the hotel told us where there free transportation shuttle would be, terminal 1, exit 2, we had to take an airport shuttle bus to terminal 1 as we arrrived at terminal 4. The airport bus dropped us off at terminal 1, exit 2 but it was on the departure level. The hotel shuttle picks up people at terminal 2, exit 1 arrival level which is one floor lower. This was not made clear and we had to pay 30 Euros for a cab to the hotel.

comments The hotel is efficiently run and the staff courteous. It is very clean, and our ensuite was luxurious, with constant hot water. When the windows to the room were shut, the street noise was eliminated. The only downside was the room was stuffy when the windows were closed. If there had been tea and coffee making facilities it would have scored 5!

comments This was a beautiful hotel, perfectly situated on Gran Via. Given the quality of the Atlantico, it was hard to believe that it was a 3 star hotel. The standard of cleanliness was well above the required level in the rooms, also in the general hotel. Although situated on the main st in Madrid, the rooms are really well insulated against traffic noise. The staff were helpfull and polite, and nothing was any problem for them. I would definately recommend this hotel, and I would not think of staying anywhere else on my trips to Madrid.

comments Ther hotel itself is a beautiful building, which has been decorated throughout to the highest standard of sophistication. My single room was very comfortable, airy, and I would thoroughly reccomend this hotel to anyone visiting Madrid, and will definitely stay there on my next vist. The cab that took me there left with my luggage in the boot!! which he did later return. The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially in the top floor bar!!

comments I stayed in the hotel for 3 days (Thursday to Saturday). it's location is impeccable, right in the middle of gran via, 5 minutes from plaza puerta the sol, 30 seconds from the callao metro station, very close to plaza espana on one side and chueca on the other. the room was more than adequate regarding size and amenities, even though the window faced a wall more or less (but who stays in a hotel in middle Madrid to watch the view?). the reception staff, while proficient in english, were very "aloof" and didn't really went out of there way to give some suggestions or tips about the going on (one example is advicing me that taking the first metro at 06:00 on saturday morning from the middle of town to the airport might be a bad idea, given the high precentage of drunken teenagers). Overall concerning price/value this is a very good hotel.

comments Central location, helpful staff, nice rooms, good breakfast. The roof-terrace with bar was a lovely place to relax. The only comment I can possibly think of is the traffic-noise at the front, but if you keep the windows closed, it's not really disturbing. We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

comments We were fortunate enough to be upgraded, therefore were very happy with our stay. We were however, disappointed with the breakfasts, we found the bread and pastries less than fresh over the weekend, though on the Monday they were fresh and better, but still the selection wasn't as good as we were led to believe from reviews we'd read. Service was very good and everyone was pleasant and helpful. Parking was a problem, and cost us £50 for a 3 day stay in a close by public car park. Great central location.

comments The staff were really attentive & helpful - breakfast was a little chaotic and would probably benefit from one more member of staff on duty there appeared to be too much work for two. Everyone was polite, the hotel throughout very clean & neat. A stark contrast to some Best Westerns in UK that I have stayed at - congratulations on this! The worst aspect of the hotel was walking to it at night and seemed to have an abundance of prostitutes on the streets!!!! I did feel this somewhat detracted from my stay

comments We stayed, my wife, daughter and myself in hotel Atlantico 4 nights. The hotel is certainly above the average 3- star hotels. The location is perfect. Breakfast was very good. The room was wonderful and it had a 5-star bathroom. I do very much recomend this hotel.

comments It's a very comfortable hotel and it's location is awsome, it's in Madrid's heart, the Metro station is just few steps away from the hotel and it's a secure area. The only thing that I think that the hotel needs is a restaurant service, because it just have breakfast service.

comments This hotel was an excellent . I was accompanied by my sister who always stays 5* when visiting other holiday destinations. She was so pleased with this hotel. The staff were really pleasant and helpful. Location was brilliant. All the wonderful cities attrations on the doorstep. Our en-suite twin-room was nicely decorated and furnished, very comfortably for our 4 night break. We would have no hesitation in booking this hotel again should visit Madrid again.

comments Our experience with the Hotel Atlantico was certainly eventful but I was most impressed by the efficiency and diligence of the management and staff of the Atlantico to resolve problems outside their control and to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as we could wish for. The rooms and facilities were very comfortable, the bar well stocked and the breakfast included everything from English to all manner of continental. The position could not be any more central for shops, bars and restaurants as well as the main city sights. The bustle of the night could be let in if the windows were opened but kept out if the double glazed balcony doors were closed and instead relied on the quietly efficient air conditioning. If you preferred the windows opened at night, security was ensured by the electric shutters which could be raised/lowered from your bed at the touch of a button. We were a group of 5 couples and enjoyed relaxing in the bar lounge overlooking the Grand Via from the 1st floor. We were very well looked after and would thoroughly recommend this hotel

comments Hotel Best Western Atlantico in Madrid was well above the average 3* hotel, situated right in the centre of Madrid. There were lots of personal touches plus a safe in the room. The breakfast was buffet style and served a very good selection of hot and cold food to suit all.
