comments San Lorenzo was absolutely great! We were a bit apprehensive as anyone is when booking a hostal online but we were definitely pleased. It's very basic and you have no more than you need, the breakfast there isn't really worth it unless you're a really light eater - but they're lots of places nearby to pick up a quick one. Better yet, the location was fantastic. Tube stations are nearby and its right off of Gran Via! ... The people were also very friendly and helpful although they really didn't speak a lot of English. Nevertheless, they did try! Really worth it if you're looking for a cheap hotel for a couple of days!

comments The staff are delightful and it's clean and nicely furnished and has 24-hour free internet access. But it's noisy -- thin walls, marble floors and a nightclub downstairs.

comments staff is very friendly, the hotel itself is very clean and cosy, location is very central but can be a bit loud in the night. the best hotel for people who want to enjoy madrid`s nightlife

comments Everything was fantastic: location, cleanliness, helpfulness of staff... and the free Internet was also a major plus. HOWEVER, I was disappointed when, after I was told I could extend my stay by several nights with no problems, I was later told that in fact the hotel would be full on the last additional night I requested and I would have to find alternate accommodations.

comments Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Room small and lacking in charm, although to be fair I booked it the night before and it was a single; the double I saw looked sunnier and bigger. I didn't eat breakfast there so can't comment on that.

comments Dentro de mi recorrido en España, que incluyó 5 diferentes estancias, este hotel es el mejor calificado, por su diseño, decorado, limpieza y, lo mejor de todo, la atención personalizada de sus propietarios. comments The Hostal was very friendly, nice and clean. We found out later from the Lonely Planet guide that it is actually known as one of the most gay-friendly hotels in Madrid and is central to the gay district. Its best to know what to expect. Overall a pleasant stay.

comments Really noise because of refurbishment made from really early in the morning. They didn't accept bank card payment. They just accepted charging me more than the double of the price I've got from the web!!!!
