Hostal Marlasca is in a great location and walking distance to most attractions. The friendly staff offers great suggestions and information regarding Madrid. The only thing which is a common problem over Europe is smoking. If you are extremely allergic to cigar or cigarette smoke it can be difficult even if you ask for a non-smoking room. Other than that it was a wonderful stay.

I was very pleased by Hostal Marlasca. Central location, easy access to all touristic attractions, small but very clean room. Hostal staff speak english and was helpfull.
I would recoomend booking this place as my seven day holliday was perfect in Hostal Marlasca.

despite the amusingly surly receptionist, the rooms were lovely - clean, comfortable and modern decoration - and the location couldn't have been better. And great value. Would definitely recommend.

Excelente la relación precio-perfomance. Resultaría dificil encontrar una mejor hubicación del hotel si lo que se busca es estar en "el ruido"; realmente una hubicación estratégica. Me tocó una habitación en el cuarto piso, bastante amplia y con un baño muy bueno; todo recientemente remodelado, limpio y funcionando.-
Seguramente recomendaré el hotel y volvería a alojarme allí.

Très bien, chambre très agréable vu le prix, salle de bain sympa et dans la chambre, seul problème : le bruit de la rue, car par ailleurs l'Hostal est très calme. je le recommande malgré tout, des boules quiès suffisent ou demander une chambre sur la cour.

Prime location right in the heart of madrid with all the main attractions just a walk away. Room was great, all that you need.
We where right on the reception floor so was quite noisy with people coming and going all night long and ringing the bell at some godforsaken hour of the night.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hostal Marlasca and was pleasantly surprised at the lovely room and great location considering its only a 2 star. THROUGHLY RECOMMENDED!
