Realmente fueron sólo dos dias, pero fue muy agradable, la habitación siempre limpia, las tollas también, la dueña D. Remedios fue encantadora; apesar de estar recientemente operada fue impecáble, nos proporcionó mapas de los sitios cercanos y nos indicó incluso cómo llegar a los sitios de forma rápida, a pesar de habernos indicado que ta vez el ruído nos podia incomodar por hecho de habernos hospedado en una habitación exterior, pero no fue así, ya que las puertas son duplas y permiten un aislamiento total. Es un hostal que está muy, pero que muy bien situado, con comunicación rápida para todos los sitios. Volveré!!!!

	Es un hostal muy correcto en cuanto a limpieza. Lo mejor la ubicacion! immejorable. La Sra. Remedios encantadora ,es como una madre moderna que te atiende pero no cotillea en tus cosas.jeje. Es la 2da vez que voy y no sera la ultima!

	En nombre de mi esposa y mio propio quiero expresar que nuestra estancia en el Hostal La Bañezana fué maravillosa, estamos muy complacidos, por su acojimiento y trato de las personas que nos atendieron con mucho cariño y siempre dispuestos a ayudarnos, nos sentimos como en familia, además de su acojedor ambiente, confort, seguridad y limpieza. El hostal está ubicado en un iugar increíble, cerca de todo, o sea teatros, cines, museos, zonas comerciales, restaurantes , bolichitos, etc. La atención de la dueña es muy agradable, invitando a regresar. La limpieza impecable, todo brilla y si no le pongo 5 en la grilla es porque, como todo hostal, las dimensiones de las habitaciones son un tanto estrechas. Pasamos ahí 1 semana con mi esposa, llevamos 2 matrimonios amigos y lo recomendamos fuertemente.

	Hostal muy centrico, limpio, ordenado. Las habitaciones que dan al exterior pueden ser un poco ruidosas el fin de semana, pero es razonable porque está bien aislado. Servicio muy discreto y eficiente. Altamente recomendable para viajeros con un presupuesto limitado pero que no quieren sorpresas con la limpieza o seguridad.

En limpieza del 1 al 10 le pongo un 10. Céntrico pero silencioso (cristalera aislante térmica y acústica) Atención al cliente espléndida y la Sra.Remedio en todo momento fue una buena consejera indicando sitios de interés en Madrid, transporte, comida, etc. y una excelente anfitriona. Habitaciones sencillas pero bien equipadas. Volvería de nuevo si tuviera que ir a Madrid. La única pega es que no se planteen crecer y ser hotel y tener más habitaciones. Les iría muy bien!!!

	Muy conforme quedé con el hostal la bañezana. en todo sentido: higiene, habitación (con un agradable baño), ubicación de primera a mano de todo lo que le interesa a un turista, y la atención esmeradísima de la Sra. Remedios con su amabilidad. Sin dudas que lo recomiendo.-

	Un lugar cálido, limpio, ordenado, con facilidades de entrar y salir... Te sientes como en tu casa. Y el costo es apropiado considerando que esta muy limpio, tienes un baño individual y está super céntrico, a todos los lugares turísticos hace 15 minutos.

	Repetia en este Hostal y la impresión por tanto es buena, la habitación individual es pequeña, pero esta limpia, el único inconveniente es el baño, era diminuto. Pero esta bien comunicado, no se oyen ruidos del exterior...

	The Hostal Bañezana offers very good service for the price. Location is very handy; the rooms are very clean and well treated. The owners are very kind and are always willing to improve their service. I recommend it!

	This was our third stay at Hostal La Banezana. We use it as it is a great price for a central Madrid stay. As usual - all went well. The room was as we requested -and was simple yet clean. The bathroom was spotlessly clean also.

Excellent location just off the Puerta del Sol, right in the heart of good bars, restaurants and shopping and very close to Metro and tour bus stops, in ideal base to explore this fabulous city. Rooms were a bit small, but comfortable and relatively quiet (we had an inner courtyard room, although you could have one with a small balcony if you want to absorb the night-time party atmosphere all night long...)The senora who ran the hostal was very kind and helpful, no English, but happy to hear me crucify her language with my schoolboy efforts. Locals very friendly - but watch out for pickpockets and bag snatchers.

It was a great experience staying at this Hostel! Very clean and the lady was very nice and helpful! The location is perfect, you can walk to El Prado in less than 10 minutes and there is easy access to pretty much everything! Free Wi-Fi although not very strong. Sometimes it can get a bit loud from the noise outside at night but if you're dead tired as I was when I came back to the Hostel you won't even notice. Great experience overall!

	Great little place, great location- close to everything, and friendly couple that keeps the place. It was pretty clean, no AC (but that's usual there). Rooms by the street have a little balcony but they are noisy, those looking inside are quiet but no balcony. I will return for sure.

	Fantastic location, rooms at the back a good choose as there was a lot of street noise. Rooms very clean, quite small but great value. Owner very friendly and helpful providing a city map and recommendations as soon as we were settled, she didn't speak English but as long as you can speak Spanish, French, German or Portuguese you should be OK! Would stay again.

Great location. Clean but very small room. Bedding was a little aged, but clean. Our room had no view-only window in the bathroom looking out into shaft. No air condidioning, but not a problem in April. Might be a big problem in the summer. Shower was clean, but there was nowhere to hang the shower head so we had to hold on to it while showering- Only 1 set of towels for 3 day stay. Room was made up each day, but towels not changed. VERY nice hostess. If cleanliness and location are important, I recommend this hotel. If space and luxury are, you should keep looking. Adequate for the price.

The hostal was just what we expected: small, clean, simple and quiet. Although the walls are very thin, so you could easily hear your neighbours, but the lady from the hostal will take attention to loud people. The hostal is in the middle of the center in a busy but nice little street. We had a room at the interior side, so we couldn't see the sky and street from our very small window. But, for we were only in the room for sleeping, this didn't matter at all. The lady from the hostal was very nice and had some good advices. I do speak Spanish.; otherwise it is probably impossible to speak with her. I can recommend the hostal!

Es un hostal muy limpio, con todo lo necesario para un viajero para sentirse cómodo. Su ubicación es perfecta para pasear por Madrid: está situado en pleno centro, a dos minutos andando de la Puerta del Sol, 5 min. de la Plaza Mayor y 15-20 min. de la estación ferroviaria Atocha. La dueña es super amable y acogedora. El único recuerdo negativo que tenemos es de unos italianos que regresaban a la madrugada y hacían ruido, sin respetar el sueño de los demás habitantes. Pero esto ocurrió una sola vez y la propietaria pudo arreglarlo todo muy rápido. Es muy recomendable y nos gustaría volver.

	The hosts were amazing, especially the lady. She was friendly, extremely helpful and caring (even though she doesn't speak English). There were 6 of us and we were all satisfied with our rooms. The rooms were clean and tidy, a double window for noise reduction and just tucked in a very convenient place. I'd definitely recommend those going to Madrid to stay here.

	Notre avion a eu plus de 6 heures de retard. Nous sommes arrivés en pleine nuit, l'aimable propriétaire nous avait attendus pour nous donner les clefs de la chambre. Un accueil adorable ! Le bruit de la boite de nuit ne nous a pas gêné, nous étions sur cour intérieure (d'où une chambre sans fenêtre plus exiguë), mais la localisation de l'hôtel est idéale.

I think the hostal was good. The owners are very nice. We did try to overcome a language barrier. The room, while clean and adequate, was a little small. I think the price was right. And even though I was on the street side, it was quiet enough for me. I recommend them. Creo que el hostal fue buena. Los propietarios son muy bonitos. Lo hicimos tratar de superar una barrera idiomática. La habitación, aunque limpia y adecuada, es un poco pequeño. Creo que el precio estaba en lo correcto. Y aunque yo estaba en la calle lateral, es bastante tranquila para mí. Les recomiendo.

	Los caseros fueron muy agradables y serviciales con nosotros. La habitacion era limpia, todo bien. Lo "peor" fue el ruido (aunque teniamos una habitacion que daba en el patio interior), es decir la musica que he oido la primera noche hasta las 6. Nada durante la segunda...

	Excelente atención de la casera. No te tratan como a un extraño, te dan una cálida bienvenida. El hostal está aislado del ruido, pues cuentan con ventana - puerta y persiana eléctrica. Todo muy limpio y está tan solo a 2 cuadras del metro puerta del sol. Excelente ubicación, cerca de zonas comerciales y turísticas.

	Family friendly and helpful. Room small, but OK for us. Neighbor very busy. Would rather have stayed in less hectic area, but location made it easy to get to the places we wanted to see. Metro a block away, but we walked almost everywhere.

	The room was nice and clean, but small. Sentral situation near Puerto del Sol. Lots of noise from the street in the weekend beause of to discoteques nearby. Bring earplugs. The personell was helpful. Nice restaurants in the neighbourhood.

El hostal Bañezana esta muy bien porqué es céntrico, está muy cerca de la Puerta del Sol y también muy cerca del Congreso de los Diputados. A la vez es muy económico. Las paradas de metro también están muy cerca, y eso era algo que también le daba importancia, ya que si vienes en avión y coges el metro en el aeropuerto puedes bajar cerca del hostal sin andar mucho. Vale la pena ir a ese hostal porqué todos son muy amables y todo está muy limpio. Las ventanas tienen doble cristal y de la calle no se escucha nada de ruido, también por la mañana te vienen a limpiar la habitación. Otra vez que vaya a Madrid volveré a ir a este hostal. He quedado muy satisfecha.

	Excelente opção para quem quer ficar no centro de Madrid. Apesar do quarto ser pequeno, os quartos são bem limpos e a localização é muito boa (a poucos metros do marco zero da cidade). Além disto a Dona Remedios (Proprietaria) é uma pessoa muito gente fina e sempre disposta a ajudar.

The hostel is in a wonderful location - right around the corner from all the nightspots & restaurants I'd wanted to visit. The owners are very friendly & helpful despite not speaking English. The room was of a good size, scrupulously clean, and the fixtures in the bathroom looked brand-new. It was nice to have a terrace, and with the double-door it was still quiet. There are at least 2 discos next door, so be advised that if you're close to them it could be noisy; though I wasn't bothered. I'm not sure if it's a place to meet other travelers, so if that's what you're looking for you might not find this to your liking. However, I would definitely recommend the Hostal La Banezana, and would stay there again!

Room very good. The owners were really really friednly and couldn't have done more for us. The location was just great for walking around Madrid, as it was so central. The price was very good indeed for a centrally positioned Hostal, which left more money to explore breakfast opportunities! The street outside was a little noisy after the bars closed, but the double glass doors and the metal shutters deadened most of the singing. I would stay there again.

The hostel was actually a private residence in which rooms (in a separate part fo the house) were rented out. Our triple room was clean and relatively spacious and the beds were comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful... but we spoke always in Spanish, so if you can't speak Spanish it might be difficult to communicate with them. Don't choose this hostel if you are influenced by their claim to have internet (wireless)... they do but in 3 days there it had "limited or no connectivity" which basically meant it was useless and I had to go to the local internet cafe (fortunately not too far away). I was also disappointed that there were no tea/coffee making facilities. I expected a general kithchen area we could have access to but there was no such thing. They had a kitchen but it was off-limits to guests. The owner offered to heat up hot water for us, but when I asked if we could have some mugs she basically said no... that there were 3 drinking glasses in the room and that was it. The location was great and there was always a good supply of hot water. If they'd had a few mugs and a kettle and wireless internet, we would have been perfectly happy.

Very nice people at the hostal and everything very clean. My single room was quite small, but sufficient when travelling alone. The place is on the first floor and my room had the window to the front, which means it can be quite dark, even when the sun is shining, and it can be quite loud too, because in the ground floor there's a club and the street is always crowded with people during the whole night. I was lucky, because I was staying there in November when I needed to close the window anyway. All in all it's a nice but very simple place right in the city centre with everything you need, if you're not expecting anything fancy.

	Senti-me enganada. Primeiro, porque no site dizem que têm quartos com duas camas e depois não têm nada. E para além do mais, as camas nem sequer são de casal, são de corpo e meio. Vou a Madrid praticamente todos os meses, pensava voltar a reservar mas não volto a este Hostal. No entanto, a limpeza do espaço agradou-me, isto apesar do quarto não ter janela...

	Very clean and good location. Lady of the house was very pleasant although she could speak no english, so communication was limited. Although we had booked a twin room in advance, our first night was in a very, very small double room with no window, which was a bit claustrophobic. Second night was in the room requested.

	Very clean and hospitable. Remedia, the woman who runs it, felt like my Aunt. Extremely affordable and the location was to die for. I was there during a festival and I didn't think the noise was that bad. Ask for a room with a balcony. If I ever go back to Madrid, I will look into staying there again.

	The hostal is a small family-run business in which the owners do everything. While the rooms are somewhat small and basic, the friendliness and helpness of the owners more than offset that defect. The hotel/B&B is extremely well-situated in a really lively and central area of Madrid. We did not need public transport once, except to get to and from the airport. The hosts are very pleasant, welcoming and helpful; the hotel is spotlessly clean and the room, while small, contains everything necessary for comfort. The only disadvantage is that, given the fantastic location, it can be a bit noisy, so early-to-beds should keep that in mind, particularly during the summer when you might want to open the windows at night. We were very satisfied indeed and I would freely recommend this hotel for a delightful stay in Madrid.

	The hostal was very clean and the couple who own it friendly and helpful. It is in a super part of the city, from there you can walk everywhere. The only negative point would be the fact that the only window was through the bathroom and was small, so in the summer months it would be unbearably hot. Very good value for money.

The hostel is clean and the nice small rooms are in a decent state, being renovated not a long time ago. The personal is nice and helpful. BUT: Be prepared to fight for a room which is not lying in direction of the street, as there is a disco-club right in front of the hotel and you will either suffocate with closed window or not get to sleep until 5 o'clock at least in the weekends. Also there is (at least?) one room which is smaller as the others and really not OK for two persons, you might get it if the hostel is fully booked.

Fantastic budget choice for centrally located accomodation. I will be staying there again. Room was spotless, if on the small side, and the bathroom was fine - clean towels provided each day of our stay. Nightlife on the doorstep, Sol and Plaza Mayor a couple of minutes walk. I recommend this place to couples or very close friends who would rather spend their Euros on fun than on expensive hotels!

Hostal Banezana was great. 15 minutes walk to all three major museums as well as the Palacio Real, conveniently located in the center of the city near Plaza del Sol and only a 5 minute walk to the metro. The owner was kind and friendly, even let us stow things after chekout. A great price for clean rooms, fresh towels and a tv to watch local Spanish tv before bedtime! Highly reccomend it to anyone- just a few Euros more than a Youth Hostel and well worth it.
