The hostal was so beautiful! The colors are fun and the room always looks cozy, it has a really good feeling to it. It's also in a nice neighborhood, close to everything. We were able to walk to all the places we wanted to go.	report this review as inappropriate

El servicio es inmejorable, la atención del personal, deliciosa y las habitaciones una gozada. Funcionales, sobrias pero muy limpias. La cama fue súper cómoda (nada que ver a lo que nos tienen acostumbrado en las pensiones y hostales) y aunque la planta tercera está aún sin acabar y quedan cosas por poner (como la televisión), es muy recomendable.	report this review as inappropriate

El edificio está en pleno centro de Fuencarral. Siempre hay alguien en recepción y el servicio es bueno. Nos tocó una habitación nueva, pero a la que aun le faltaba la televisión por instalar. De ruidos bastante bien, teniendo en cuenta dónde está situado.	report this review as inappropriate

Habitaciones muy limpias y recién renovadas. Decoración moderna y con colores agradables. Hostal silencioso y en pleno centro. Nos encantó y, además, está cerquísima del centro. Hostal Colors had spacious, comfortable rooms which were very nice to stay in. Overall, my stay there was excellent. The only downsides are that you must pay in cash, and you must take the key to the front desk every time you leave the building, and must get it from them when you come back.	report this review as inappropriate

Tendrían que hacer constar que se tiene que pagar la habiación nada más llegar, que no se puede pagar con targeta y mejor dar el importe justo. Para un fin de semana está bien, pero las paredes són de papel de fumar y se oye todo lo de las habitaciones contiguas.	report this review as inappropriate

First impresion when I came with my girlfriend was OK. Great street, then the classic old elevator. We went in and no one spoke english apart from the cleaner :) Later one there was a guy who spoke english and he was there most of the time. He and the owner were really firendly. Room - a bit small but light with nice small flat tv hanged on the wall. However the walls were really dirty and scratched. Bathroom on the first glance seems to be fine but later one I discovered 10cm layer of dust on the air condition. Mold in the corner and...... worms under the shower :/ Location- perfect, on the streets with lots of shops with cloaths. 1,5 min walk from Gran Via. El hostal está bien, limpio, lleno de muebles de IKEA y con un buen precio. Lo mejor, su situación, en la calle Fuencarral, al lado de Malasaña y con el metro muy cerca. Lo peor, que en los 4 días que estuvimos allí no nos limpiaron la habitación y el desayuno cuesta 6 euros. Aún así, repetiría.	report this review as inappropriate

The room was really a small one. There was not any table where I could put my computer on. The room was too noisy, especially when other guest came home later. Compared to the quality of service, the price was too high. The only good thing was the location of the hostal.	report this review as inappropriate

We had a really nice stay at the Hostal Colors Host. It was in an excellent central location, surprisingly quiet at night. The persons at the front desk were friendly and helpful in answering our questions and our rooms were quite spacious and were very clean and comfortable. If you are looking for a hostal in a great location that is very clean and is priced reasonably, then consider this one.	report this review as inappropriate

Nice neighborhood, very central, 5 minutes from 3 metro stations. Dreadful old building, no elevator on our 2nd day (4th floor, no problem for us, might be for someone else). Then, in the hostal, nice Ukrainian couple employed as recepcionists, colorful bright rooms as shown on site (but a tad smaller than I thought), good mattress on not that big double bed, clean all over, decent shower and WC. On our arrival, a gentle offer of 2 bottles of water and 2 cereal bars in the room. One PC with Internet access near the reception. Small convenient safe in the room. Era la primera experiencia en un hostal y me ha encantado por su ubicación, limpieza, luminosidad y el caracter afable de sus responsables. Great Location. There were abotu 20 flys in our room and the shower was broken. We had to hose ourselves off in the showere. The fridge smelled like a decaying rat. But if you are willing to rough it, the location is great.	report this review as inappropriate

It was great! HCH is right in Chueca and with many shops nearby (Levi's, Puma, Kiehl's, Starbucks, restaurants, vinoteca's) The room was comfortable and I loved the computer with free internet	report this review as inappropriate

Very friendly staff that speaks spanish, english, russian, french and possibly more . The rooms are very clean and comfortable. For an additional 3EU/day, breakfast is served in your room. Try to get a room away from the entrance lobby. The whole place is reasonably quiet but rooms away from the lobby are quietest. When I'm in Madrid, I will definitely arrange ti stay there again.
