The hotel is in a great location. Mario did everything to make my stay as comfortable as possible. If you can try and make sure that you book a room with a window. The room I had didnt have one which meant that the room smelt a bit damp after showering etc. Aside from that I would recommend Casa Chueca Hostal as a great place to stay

Casa Chueca is situated in a nice central location in Madrid, between the cozy plaza de Chueca and hectic Gran Vía. It is simple but very pleasant. The owner is very friendly and we had a very nice stay there. Price/quality is excellent. You won't find many places in the heart of a European capital that are this cheap.

nous avons sejourné 3 nuits dans cet hostal : accueil chaleureux et sympathique, café et 1 muffin tous les matins- en plein centre de madrid, a proximité de tous les lieux d'interets (nous avons tout fait a pieds)- dommage qu'il y ai un discotheque juste à coté pour le prix - mais nous le recommandons très fortement-
