We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was right in the centre of town, was generally clean and the people were very helpful and friendly. About a week before we stayed, we were told that there was a problem with the apartment and another apartment offered, however, the problem was resolved before we arrived. The kitchen was not particularly well set up and we would have found it difficult if we have wanted to eat in. |

Stayed three nights at La Escalinata. Overall: very happy we did, & would definitely stay there again. The very, very good: unbelievable location, 1/2 block from Opera Metro stop, yet very quiet street. Cesar & Yolanda, the apartment managers, were fantastic - always available by cellphone, excellent English, very accommodating, very cheerful & friendly. Bldg very secure. Things to be aware of: sparsely decorated, cheaply furnished, could use paint. Like every residence in Spain, smells vaguely of cigarettes. |

no troubles; all very straightforward. relazing stay. nice people responsible for the apartments. only comment would be: would be good to have a kettle in the apartment!

The apartment was not, after all, at La Escalinata but in a different building a few minutes' walk from La Escalinata. It should be made clear when booking is in process that this might happen! However, the 'new' location was even better, within very easy reach of the Sol metro station which has excellent connection to many places. In either case the position of the apartmenets is extremely good. |

good sized apartment, great location, well-equipped kitchen, air conditioning works great for those hot madrid days. the office is only open from M-F 10am - 2pm - a bit inconvenient if you need something after those hours. very little english spoken by person in office, though she was able to get the landlord who spoke english very well. |

Genialmente ubicado,silencioso,limpio.Asistencia muy amable,muy acogedora.Igual que el apartamento.Para una estancia más larga debería haber más ollas y vasos.Algunas veces olía mal de las cañerías. |

Great location ! good local amenities and only 5 mins walk from puerto de sol. The apartment itself was modern & had all the facilities required. The staff were easy to find and helpful . We will be staying again. |
