comments Not very luxury but more than enough if you're planning a short stay in Madrid. It has cuttlery and all the necessary for cooking but perhaps a bigger saucepan would be better. Everything was clean and they make beds and change the towels daily.

comments Goya 75 is in an excellent position. The daily housekeeping service is very good, however the apartments are in very bad condition, the kitchen is not fully equipped & the property could not be recommended

comments Upon check-in, no assisstance with luggage. No directions as to operating things in apartment and how to obtain illumination in the hallways. Furniture in the apartment dirty and in disrepair. Mattress thin and bumpy. No shelves in bathroom for storing toilet articles. Pots in kitchen old, scrathed, cracked. No ice trays in freezer. Kitchen appliances, etc., not as advertised. Television set tiny, old. The entire appearance of the apartment was old, dirty, and uncomforable. Daytime desk employee was helpful and accomodating.

comments Apartments were very clean and comfortable. Convenient to shops and no problems getting taxis. Well worth the money, with more room and freedom than in a hotel. Will definately be booking in again the next time I'm in Madrid. Reception was also very friendly and helpful.

comments The location was great, appartment was quite despite it was in downtown. Neighborhood is safe. Appartment wasn't spotless by the way. A couch was dirty when we opened it. The kitchenette wasn't equipped very well. It did not have even a kettle to make a tea. Parking garage was full when we arrived, therefore we needed to park in public garage which was pretty expansive, but overall for that price it was OK.

comments Hotel was good for the purpose we wanted it for, we we were a group of lads who went for a stag holiday. The hotel wasnt great but it was located in a ok spot, around 10mins by taxi/metro to the gran via. not many eating places around the hotel. there were however some good shops. hotel staff were not the most friendly of people at first, however they were ok on the second night. they have a policy of paying the entire bill at the point of check in. so you have to pay before you even go into your room! good for the price, but could do with a little more cleaning/tidying up, furniture was a bit shabby as was the bathrooms (we booked 3 apartments due to the size of the group). They had non english speaking staff during the day and an english speaking night security gaurd :-S which was a little odd! however i was not dissapointed nor was i overly pleased. its an average place, but good for the price you pay... but you would probably be better paying a little extra and staying either on or off the gran via, you save on taxi/metro costs.... - tony

comments as expected from the reviews the apartments are basic but the location was as close to perfection as any keen shopper could dream of! the staff on the desk are a little unfriendly and could do with a few more customer skills, but the apartment was clean and tidy and spacious! we had a dining tale, a seating area and coffee table and kitchen, the only thing that could do with a bit of updating are the beds, but other than that its all location location location

comments I found the man at the reception not friendly at the day of arrival. It was not a warm welcome. And he did nog speak a word English. I speak some spanish, so it was'nt a big problem, but a little bit of english would have been nice. The appartment was good, but very noisy and unfortunately our neighbours were very loud late at night and early in the morning. The location of the appartement was great and so were the facilities in the appartment (kitchen etc)

comments Our rooms were clean and spacious. The staff really helped us to have an enjoyable stay. Although our Spanish is poor and most of the staff spoke little English, they were still very plesant and helpful and able to communicate everything we needed. A faster internet connection would be nice.

comments I was leary because customer reviews I read ranged from "good budget apt" to "this place is a dump". Rooms vary quite a bit in quality so be sure to read reviews on different sites especially tripadvisor.com before making your decision. The lcation is terrific in the heart of the fancy Salamanca district, 2 blocks from the Goya metro which provides easy access to Retiro park and "Sol" the center of town. The one bedroom apt was twice the size of higher priced hotel rooms, had a convenient kitchenette, was clean but not spotless, good heating system, furniture was basic but adequate, the mattress was bad with springs poking up, the bathroom had pretty marble, it had good hot water with decent pressure. The nicest rooms face the street with big windows that open, but others face an inner air shaft. I wrote ahead requesting an exterior facing room but they wouldn't guarantee it, so i made a point of arriving early in the day. People who arrived late seemed to get less desireable rooms. Overall, we were delighted to get a clean apt, in a good location for 80 Euros. Internet is 15 Euros/day extra. We recommend a great Thai restraurant close to here, "Thaidy", Calle Jorge Juan #54.

comments The attendants were friendly enough, but could not speak a word of english, which made it impossible for our initial complaint about the apartment furtile. There was no kettle, microwave or iron in the apartment, yet it was meant to be a self contained apartment for a family of 4. Apart from the complaint we thorougly enjoyed our stay in Madrid.

comments clean, good accommodation on the whole in a central area for shopping. my husband and I were provided with any extra saucepans etc without any bother/fuss.pleasant stay both times we have been there except for the mattress (i have abad back) this time. perhaps we could have asked to change the room but since it was a short stay decided to stick with it and not make a fuss.

comments Good value considering central position. Convenient for metro. Air conditioning effective but noisy. Some furniture and carpet worse for wear. Beds good, linen clean. Bathroom clean with ample hot water. Good shower but bath only suitable for short and slim. Soap, shampoo replenished on request. Kitchen poorly equipped, cooking utensils minimal. Fridge working but needed replacing. Hotel provided pre-requested microwave. Smell of stale cigarette smoke. Staff friendly and helpful.

comments We were told the aprtments had air conditionnig and were fully equiped. Once we arrived we had to fight for an hour to have our room changed, the roome was an indoor room, dark, and the air conditioning never worked. Apart from that the people in charge were unpolite and very badly tempered

comments The appartment was well equipped with kitchen facilities and the staff were helpful when we asked for directions. however, the promised airconditioning was circulating warm air(not so useful in a stuffy appartment in 40' heat)and the electricity refused to stay connected for more than a minute or so, making cooking in the kitchen, and keeping refigerated goods cold very difficult. This was especially frustrating and the staff were well aware of the problem but unable to do more than indicate how to reconnect the supply when it went off.

comments We had an excellent week's holiday in Madrid. The apartment was clean and tidy, and very central, everything you needed - bars, supermarkets, transport etc. - was right on the doorstep. The cleaner came in every day to clean the apartment and change the towels - lovely lady; there was always someone on the desk in Reception in case you needed anything; the beds were extremely comfortable and we slept very well. The only thing wrong with the apartment in my view was that there was no electric kettle or toaster. As English, we like tea/coffee and toast for breakfast. I thought Reception might have hired them out, but they didn't.
