comments El emplazamiento es inmejorable ya que está en pleno centro. Además está muy limpio y es bastante acogedor. Aunque nosotros estabamos todo el día fuera y sólo paramos en el apartamento para descansar, sí echamos de menos una tv en el dormitorio principal para ponernos al día antes de dormir. Juan , el dueño, encantador, amable y detallista. Sin duda la próxima vez que volvamos a Madrid nos quedaremos en estos apartamentos.

comments Lovely apartment. Clean, very quiet, and secure. Close to metro station and many of the main points of interest. Juan is a lovely man and very helpful. Only negative from my husband was the bed in our room. He did not find it very comfortable. He found it difficult to sleep and complained of a sore back for the whole of our trip to Madrid (he has had back issues in the past). Apart from that we really enjoyed our stay at Apartamentos Candilejas.

comments very nice appartment - well cleaned and neat - and our appartment very suitabel for 2 couples with seperate bedrooms and bathrooms. very good location in the old Latina quartier of the town very close to everything. a very positive experience in every aspect.

comments Gli appartamenti rispondevano pienamente alle aspettative. Puliti, curati e tranquilli. La posizione centrale permette di muoversi liberamente a piedi e raggiungere i punti principali da visitare. Gentilissimo e disponibile il titolare. Se vogliamo trovare un difetto... i letti un po' stretti ( un paio anche un po' rumorosi ) e nella camera sul soppalco mancano delle tende scure per non fare entrare la luce al mattino.

comments The apartments are great! Its located in such a quite place but same time in less then 5 minutes by walk from metro and Plaza de Espana and all the main sightseeing, there is no need to go subway to reach Plaza del Sol or Prado Museum or the Palace - you can easily walk there! As for the apartments it was also lovely, there were all that we need! Very homely atmosphere! Really great thanks to Juan who made our visit so nice and comfortable! Muchos gracias!

comments We had a wonderful time in this apartment. Spacious and very clean, and easy walking distance from all major tourist sites and shopping streets. Also easy connection by metro to the airport. A baker and small grocery shop in the street, nice for breakfasts on the balcony. The only minor point was the size of the beds: for four Northern European size people, the two double beds were a bit small.

comments Juan was absolutely so wonderful, so friendly and so helpful. The only negative was that there was nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom. A portable clothes rack would also have been good to dry clothes in winter. The location and cleanliness are top rate. Access to English TV stations (i.e. CNN) would have been a bonus.

comments The comfortable, modern apartment was centrally located and very clean and quiet. The only minor complaints were that the bathroom could do with a shelf for toothbrushes, razor, make up etc and that the TV only had access to Spanish channels. I would certainly recommend it to friends.

comments We are fully satisfied with this apartment – it is clean, quiet, bath towels were exchanged timely. Location is excellent – close to all major tourist attractions, but if you plan to prepare your own meal – don’t count on it – there are no decent supermarkets close by. Juan was very nice, even greeted us with the bottle of Spanish wine, and even he speaks little English we managed to find a common language. We would definitely recommend Apartamentos Candilejas to our friends.

comments The apartments are convenient to the Opera, Puerta del Sol, Plaza de Espana and Gran Via so there are 1001 places to see, eat and let your hair down nearby. The supermarkets of El Corte Ingles are also conveniently close. With double-glazing the apartments are quiet and Ana and Juan, and their team, do everything to ensure that your accommodation is comfortable and clean. comments I loved staying at the apartments. It had a spacious living room area with a pull-out couch. ,bookshelves with cable tv, a large dining table with 4 chairs. We used the kitchen to eat in a couple of dinners and it was great for breakfast. Yhe bathroom was marble ,spacious ,stand-uo shower with wand. The bedroom was in the back of the apartment overlooking a very quiety courtyard-the bed was a double and very comfortable. Anna even brought over an awesome bottle of Spanish wine! Location was fab! I took the metro and it was a little hard to find but I would have Juan meet you at the Starbucks and walk to the apartment. Also take the hop on hop off bus -stay on it a couple of times then decide where you want to get off- you can purchase a pass that is good for 2 days.WE took a side trip to Saville-now my favorite city. Madrid is wonderful! Shaun

comments We booked the apartment as a special birthday visit so was prepared for it being expensive. Everything was perfect for us. Juan is a perfect Gentleman. Apartment could do with basic soap and washing up liquid. Otherwise it is a perfect location - we walked everywhere. Madrid is a brilliant city.

comments Overall, the apartments (we booked two, a 1 BR and a 2 BR "attic" space) were good. We had some difficulty in getting in due to our inability to call the representative on our cell phone and the sofa bed in the loft area would collapse unless propped up. Otherwise, a little pricey, but good location and quite comfortable.

comments The apartment is very well located, all the major tourist sites are within walking distance. The Plaza del Oriente is the most beautiful in Madrid, and is a couple of blocks behind the apartment. The apartment is small (2 bedroom), and could use a few amenities like a local phone, a hair dryer, and the television did not work consistently. This was our first apartment in Spain, but we have rented before in Paris. I would certainly recommend Candilejas to others, and stay there again myself.

comments This apartment was tucked away in wonderful little next above the streets below. Great location with local markets, tapa's bars, restaurants, and a excellent flamenco show in teh neighborhood. Just 10 minutes walk to the main attractions but nice and far enough away on the quiet street for relaxations. The aparment is tasteful decorated and perfect for 2 people and jsut fine for 4. I would stay again without thinking twice!!
