comments Advantages: it is well situated in a lively area with bars, restaurants and boutiques, 2 minutes from the Metro station and 20 minutes walk from the Prado. It is on the back of the building so there is little road noise. There is a modern kitchen and bathroom. There is a large terrace. Disadvantages: The contact person, Rosa, is very friendly and helpful but does not speak much English. The neighbours feed the pigeons so you get bombarded on the terrace! The kitchen is very small - not suitable for serious meal preparation. There is only enough hot water for one shower at a time. The beds are not good quality so are not comfortable. However, as a base for sightseeing it is fine - simply but adequately furnished and clean.
