comments Enjoyed the stay, would definantly stay again. The owner only knows Spanish so if you don't know Spanish it is hard to communicate. She is very kind and accomodating.

comments Well, it was OK for that price. Very clean and quiet at night. But it was not quiet in the morning, everybody wakes up at half past seven (think usually workers stay there). And you can't use kitchen, that's only for long stay guests.

comments La pensión PortoMeñe es un establecimiento muy limpio y la señora, muy agradable. El único inconveniente en nuestro caso fue el ruido causado por otros huéspedes.

comments Well situated nearby metro-station Moncloa we were pleasantly welcomed by the lady of the house who hardly speaks english but was willing to help where she could with information, calling a taxi, etc. The rooms were quite small although we had three beds in our two-bed bedroom. The house was very clean. The plastic undersheets (hygienic!)gave some sweatty nights even when it was still not to warm outside. A quiet neighbourhood just a few metro-stations away from the centre.

comments We weren't allowed to use the kitchen, and had to ask the staff, who did not speak English, for every little thing - we couldn't even enter to take silverware!! However, there were many bathrooms, they were clean, the location was close to a metro, and it was a quiet area. If you're looking to party or to meet people, this is not the place for you. Also, it's best if you speak Spanish.

comments Very friendly, clean and well organised family-run Pension. Bed could have been more comfortable (I think single beds would be better than the double we had), but otherwise a good base for exploring Madrid. We got by on our basic Spanish, and thanks to other BookAssist reviews we knew to take our own towels.

comments The duena was very warm & welcoming & helpful. The place is in a relatively quiet street yet central with nearby supermarket & she recommended an excellent, reasonable restaurant also nearby. The place was clean & warm.

comments el precio interesante la senora muy simpatica un poco ruidoso sobre todo la habitacion cerca de la entrada y cerca de la calle situacion un poco lejos del centro si quieres ir a pie al centro (25 mn) no carto de bano y servicios en la habitacion no lavabo tambien pero cuartos de banos comunes limpios

comments We stayed here in 2005. The owners don't speak English but are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. The pension is close to the metro or you can walk a few blocks and be right downtown. The price is very reasonable.

comments La pension esta bien para el precio. Hay un cafe al lado para tomar el desayuno y una estacion de metro a 5 mn. Lo que pasa es que no pudia dormir de toda la noche porque habia gente peleandose en la calle ! Los cuartos de baño son a parte y eran muy limpios.

comments Très bien, très propre sauf que si vous restez moins d'une semaine vous n'avez pas accès à la cuisine, ce qui peut être pas mal de le savoir avant de réserver... mais en compensation on a pu avoir un frigo dans notre chambre!

comments Clean and very conveniently located. The owner was nice, but I don't think she speaks much english. This website mentions a kitchen, but there was not one available for our use, which was no big deal. Plenty of bathrooms for everyone, never any wait.

comments The Pension was clean and quiet with really clean bathrooms. we stayed only one night, but it was a welcome bed. If you don't speak Spanish, have a phrase book handy because the owner doesn't speak any English and at 5 am you really want to get your point across and get to bed.
