comments My husband and I stayed at the Four Seasons as a quiet get-away for our Anniversary on 14 Feb. I made the booking (as a surprise) and did so easily online. On arrival the welcome was homely and warm, yet efficient. I had made no reference to the fact that it was our anniversary. We were advised of available times for dining as, with it being Valentine's day also, bookings had been made already - which was helpful - and then directed to our accommodation. We were so surprised that our booking had been upgraded and without great attention brought to it! During our stay we enjoyed food from the bar and from the restaurant and also sampled some entertainment. We didn't have time to take advantage of the Leisure Club facilities but hope to do so the next time we come, which we hope won't be too far off. This hotel was recommended to me and on the basis of that I made the booking. I am happy to repeat the recommendation.

comments WE stayed at this fab hotel on the 13th feb for 1 night D/B&B .We were upgraded to a suite for free as my fiancee proposed to me that night .Beautiful room with a four poster bed and jacuzzi bath ,dinner was gorgeous as was the breakfast and the staff were lovely .I could'nt fault this hotel in an absolute stunning part of county Louth.We will definatly be back for a stay and perhaps the wedding too !!

comments had a wonderful time valintines weekend staff very helpful and friendly. dinner was fantastic and bedroom was spotless cleaned every morning.have been to this hotel many times great place carlingford.

comments The service in the restaurantwas very bad ,the staff were rude and not very pollite.we complained and expressed our concerns and have been offered a nights stay free as a compensation for the hassle which was great to know they took our complaint and dealt with it

comments Very dissatisfied. No bath. Smell of chlorine in hotel corridors. Staff very unfriendly. Breakfast was not up to standard in the slightest. Shampoo/soap in shower was laughable, individual containers should be supplied (like every other hotel in the world). Over all, the standard was not what I expected from the four seasons hotel, we were very unhappy with our stay.

comments the rooms were dark,and i missed a member of management around at dinner and in the morning for breakfast.the staff that were in the pool and serving breakfast were very very nice and made use feel very welcome.the staff member on reception the day we were leaving did not ask me if we had a nice stay,and did not make eye contact with me much.i do like your hotel and i feel a few little changes i will give you a 5 next time.the woman that looked after us for breakfast was fantastic. regards robert murphy

comments I did not find the room very clean double bed was quite small I had stayed there before and was very impressed .The meal we had was lovely couldnt fault the food and the waiter who served our meal was very polite and helpful

comments The hotel is in a beautiful location with great views. The room (the Oriel) was a good size and well furnished. Staff were pleasant and attentative. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and one which we hope to repeat in the future

comments Locationwise this hotel is perfect as you only need step outside the door and within minutes you are in the scenic village of Carlingford.The staff were very attentive and friendly and the food was excellent.The accommodation was very pleasant and clean and the garden is gorgeous.We enjoyed our stay on a couple of occasions and we will be back again!

comments Convenient location to the town of Carlingford - less than five minutes walk. Friendly helpful staff. Upgrade to suite at no extra charge. Fresh fruit on arrival to room with robes and slippers provided also. Spacious bathroom with quick filling jacuzzi bath. Herbal tea selection supplied in room on request. Attention to health & safety, cleanliness and hygiene evident throughout the hotel. Faulty light in bathroom repaired immediately on a Sunday afternoon. Breakfast first class with porridge provided promptly on request. We got the impression that nothing was too much trouble and would stay in the Four Seasons Hotel again without hesitation and recommend it highly.

comments We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend break. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The leisure club also was very clean and of a high standard. The staff in the hotel were very helful and courteous and the food was excellent. Carlingford is a beautiful village and a lovely place to relax.

comments I found the staff friendly and helpful- warm but not gushing. Ifilled in a form for a free stay at the Four Seasons and said I'd return if I won. Well I intend to return if I don't win and may even bring my husband along too!
