great weekend in the D hotel. Food was fabulous, cocktails lovely, would recommend the singapore sling. On the 2nd day we were going to eat out somewhere different just for a change of scenery but we ended up eating from the bar menu, the chicken wings are to die for. overall great place. Our only problem was on the saturday night, the bar music was so loud that we were kept awake until 2am, also on the sunday morning the restaurant was so busy for breakfast that we had to share a large table with 4 other couples, not the ideal situation.

very enjoyable, staff were very helpful and accommadating, room was excellent, very spacious and food was fantastic. would recommend a stay at the d hotel to anyone. thank you for a nice relaxing break

An excellent hotel. Very clean. Staff could not do enough to help. The food was also excellent. The only minor criticism was that lighting in the room was poor for reading and we mentioned this to damien upon leaving. This is a matter the Hotel is looking into because they use low energy bulbs. We would certainly stay again in the future and based upon our experiences would recommend the hotel to others.

We had an excellent short break at the D-Hotel - the staffs were excellent and the meals were of a very high standard.
Our only complaint would be that there wasn't enough information regarding local events and local points/places of interest.

No air conditioning in the rooms, very very hot, we had a small baby and he could not sleep because of the heat. Staff were very nice though.

Really nice hotel and great location. You can walk to the town for nightlife and right next door to shopping centre. Friendly staff.

lovely hotel almost everything was perfect with the exception of the heat of the room we had two fans going and the room was unbearably hot we asked at reception and they said that all rooms were the same as there is no air conditioning in view of the amount of glass in this modern building air con is a necessity otherwise staff very nice a beautiful hotel

A very pleasant experience. I was most impressed by the overall professionalism and ambience of the hotel staff.
Staff were courteous and respectful with my queries/request, for eg acommodating my coeliac diet

The hotel has wonderful decor, and a very nice terrace area overlooking the river Boyne. The restaurant was exceptionally nice. All staff was so helpful and pleasant, it made a very welcome change to be treated so courtously

Very disappointed. I stayed in a superior room which was very nicely decorated with an excellent bathroom. but as the weather was very hot the room temperature was very hot which made it very uncomfortable. Surprised that in a newly built four star hotel they did not have air conditioning. One window only opened a small amount so air flow was nominal. Also the wardrobe and part of the built in units had scratch's which made the place looked tired and not up to the standard promished on the website.
Food was excellent and staff friendly. I filled in the comment card and received a letter saying my comments were appriciated and noted.

We really enjoyed our stay and thought the hotel was fabulous however it seemed that when we arrived nobody knew the type of package we were on. We had to explain ourselves several times between checking in and dinner etc. On the first morning although we had a do not disturb sign on the door the cleaners knocked twice and then asked were we checking out that morning. I would think that firstly when a do not disturb sign is on the door that's what that means, and that secondly they should be aware that we were not checking out. These are only minor complaints but ones that perhaps can be easily rectified. Overall we had a brilliant time.
